I just ordered 2 of these for my new quick fuel carb . Going this route as CSU is saying 3 month wait . Copper gasket and some high temp silicone helps seal headers issues .
We have also used a 2.5 power valve on buddies car in a quick fuel 850 on a 468 bbc with twin turbo setup , it works well to rid the dead spot between cruising and acceleration
Hey mate, great vid excellent, thanks for that, just a thought with the extractor plates, what if you run over the mounting plate surfaces with a belt sander 'very carefully' instead of holding the extractors and rubbing them back and fort on sand paper, just an idea our even better a linishing machine. Seeya Rob........Hey Neat hope your both doing very well thank heavens summers gone, we're in for a monster rain bomb due anytime soon, it's massive and they say it could just finally end this bloody drought !!!
Happy to see you going all the way with the carb. That next project is gonna be fun. Have you seen A21Bravos TRIPLE bed mount turbo setup he is working on?
When you get the header plate flat and sorted do yourself a favor and have a look at getting them ceramic coated. Money well spent and really reduces engine bay heat.
Copper RTV will be your best friend for exhaust gaskets. Hello from 🇺🇸
Good on ya mate 👍
Can’t wait for the result.

Wish they were adjustable from the float side, i would drill/tap an access port in the bowl like on the side for fuel level sight
