Too bad they discontinued the original TW32 that came on these.

You do not cut the bead on the ATV tire to put it on. The Atlas Tyre Gater 8" fits fine as as long as it is warm out when you mount it, its not a problem. I am interested in your method as well as I agree the tread is too close together so it can't clean itself.
The other problem beside DOT with the ATV is they are heavy and it's not like the TW has horses to spare. 😁
Really don't understand why no one makes a tire for the TW. It's not like the bike is rare!

@@tittan1500 I don't use one just know people who do. It works super well but I don't like the weight or road characteristics.

I would not run an atv tire on the stock rim. My tw has the atv rim conversion so I have an atv wheel and tire on my rear. It’s less likely to come off the bead than an atv tire on a stock rim.

No way I was totally considering doing the exact same thing to mine!! A possibility better way to do it is with a tool called a tread doctor. It’s basically a hot knife that’s the perfect tool for this job.

Cool idea but not sure if its road safe. Now every other lug has zero to little contact patch with the road. On a road bike the contact patch is around an inch now this tire is about a inch every 4inches . Interested in how it performs. Honestly the rear tire seems to have decent off-road traction especially the sidewalls

So far it’s been good, noticeable improvement offroad and no noticeable difference on road except maybe a little more noise.
Look up the kenda trak master street legal tire. This still has a lot more rubber on the road
