I did not leave his name out on the grounds that during my research, he mentioned spooks around 2-4 times per stream on the low end. I also did not watch full streams so that was just the few hours I was actually even there. This guy is a huge problem.

Thank god this isn’t a legit apology…Spectating his response and reaction through his streams was nothing short of enlightening after seeing how he lost his mind at the littlest of things. Heck, I got banned from chat for saying one thing, which was welcoming a new person in chat who asked what was going on and basically saying the equivalent of ‘he’s still going crazy about the attention’ (keep in mind, this was a week and a half after shortbread’s initial exposure video and his entire stream was literally cycling through chat and calling anything ‘wrong’ out). He found that one message, insulted my picture (because it was too anime I guess according to him), and banned me just like that. Yeah, saying he’s insecure is putting it lightly… Keep in mind that I wasn’t remotely trying to insult this guy. I just came back from a vacation for a week and literally was just as surprised as many others were that he was still doing what he was doing.

Shortbread used to be awesome (or at least had the appearance of it)...years ago. He was one of my fave streamers. I spent so much time watching him play DBD. Donated a lot of tips and bitties. I loved his brand of fake toxicity, hilarity, and genuine care for his community. Due to life busyness, I fell away from Twitch in general and didn't watch anyone including him for a long time. I also don't regularly check Twitter. Every once in a great while I would check his "announcements" or "serious talk" discord channels just to see what was up. In checking this a few months ago, I was made aware of some stuff going down on Twitter with him and yourself (I hadn't heard of you before that). I slunk over to Twitter, did a deep dive, read everything I could, and watched your prior videos. To say that I was saddened is true. I wish I could say I was shocked that all of this had happened, but honestly, I feel like his attitude has gotten increasingly toxic, simply from what I've observed over the past several months. He kicked at least one person out of his discord for expressing their opinion by calling it "spreading misinformation." During a few streams I watched, everything seemed off. He totally overreacted to really simple questions or statements viewers asked. I believe every word you say, Spook. He's a gaslighter, liar, and chronic manipulator. TBH I feel really bad for his wife. She has been SO loyal to him and fiercely defensive of him over the years. He put her and her/his viewers down in one fell swoop. I'm also totally disgusted that he sent unsolicited pics. Yikes. It's really so disappointing and sad to see someone you enjoyed watching and looked up to to fall from grace this way. Thank god this isn’t a legit apology…Spectating his response and reaction through his streams was nothing short of enlightening after seeing how he lost his mind at the littlest of things.
Heck, I got banned from chat for saying one thing, which was welcoming a new person in chat who asked what was going on and basically saying the equivalent of ‘he’s still going crazy about the attention’ (keep in mind, this was a week and a half after shortbread’s initial exposure video and his entire stream was literally cycling through chat and calling anything ‘wrong’ out). He found that one message, insulted my picture (because it was too anime I guess according to him), and banned me just like that. Yeah, saying he’s insecure is putting it lightly…
Keep in mind that I wasn’t remotely trying to insult this guy. I just came back from a vacation for a week and literally was just as surprised as many others were that he was still doing what he was doing.

This is so sad. As someone in psychology, he has such deep rooted issues and I could go on and on about what I think. Him being jealous of his significant other is so beyond unhealthy. This streamer reminds me of my high school bullies, word for word and accusation for accusation. They’d say I’d made fun of their weight only to turn around and call me anorexic and make fun of me for being skinny, they’d tell everyone I was a racist only to turn around and say the ‘gamer word’ “by accident”, they’d tell everyone I was bullying them online only to harass me in any way they could whilst I never replied. Only difference is my bullies were teenage girls, and this streamer is a literal adult man. Watching this video made me remember all the horrible crap they did to me, I can’t imagine what it’s like to have that at such a large scale.

I knew Matthew santoro from his yt days. Was absolutely obsessed with his spooky vids he was an excellent guy. When he moved onto twitch I think maybe he was overwhelmed or something deeper in his personal life but he flipped a switch. But like you said he worked on himself and got better and now he is where he is. Shortbread attacks everyone and everything, it's like the power of having that many viewers has poisoned him. I truly doubt he can change, because the first step is to accept there's something wrong

Shortbread used to be awesome (or at least had the appearance of it)...years ago. He was one of my fave streamers. I spent so much time watching him play DBD. Donated a lot of tips and bitties. I loved his brand of fake toxicity, hilarity, and genuine care for his community. Due to life busyness, I fell away from Twitch in general and didn't watch anyone including him for a long time. I also don't regularly check Twitter. Every once in a great while I would check his "announcements" or "serious talk" discord channels just to see what was up. In checking this a few months ago, I was made aware of some stuff going down on Twitter with him and yourself (I hadn't heard of you before that). I slunk over to Twitter, did a deep dive, read everything I could, and watched your prior videos. To say that I was saddened is true. I wish I could say I was shocked that all of this had happened, but honestly, I feel like his attitude has gotten increasingly toxic, simply from what I've observed over the past several months. He kicked at least one person out of his discord for expressing their opinion by calling it "spreading misinformation." During a few streams I watched, everything seemed off. He totally overreacted to really simple questions or statements viewers asked. I believe every word you say, Spook. He's a gaslighter, liar, and chronic manipulator. TBH I feel really bad for his wife. She has been SO loyal to him and fiercely defensive of him over the years. He put her and her/his viewers down in one fell swoop. I'm also totally disgusted that he sent unsolicited pics. Yikes. It's really so disappointing and sad to see someone you enjoyed watching and looked up to to fall from grace this way. You are obviously a reasonable and wholesome person. There is a reason I am following you now instead of him. Thanks for making this video.
