I get this is funny and the TTV is obviously stupid xD but you have to admit playing survivor is a lot more frustrating than playing killer. Thats the main reason majority of my playtime is killer.
@dominicalbertin1224 it's subjective, personally I do find killer less frustrating because I'm less likely to feel helpless but there's a lot of people who either get too stressed out or too frustrated playing killer compared to survivor.
Iron Grasp, Agitation, Shadowborn, Lightborn. I run this build all the time. How many times do you think I've had my location leaked on my steam profile comments or been called a tryhard?

Pfft fucking survivors are just going to like do gens, open the gates and leave the trial while I moon walk around the map not even trying to hit them. Try hards
The fact that a person can be so emotionally fragile like that TTV blows my mind. The only acceptable outcome of any match is if they escape with no deaths and no hits. Take a hit? Damn camper. Put on hook? Stupid tunneler. Just existing in their area? So boring die on hook. It's only a matter of time before that TTV gets banned for harassment. Twitch almost never does anything about toxic streamers and even ones who have their accounts removed can just make a new one with no consequence. Twitch is a joke really for holding people accountable. I had a Twitch account that I streamed twice(total) on many many years ago. I tried to log onto it and found out it was permanently banned for no reason despite the fact I didn't even use it for years. So yeah Twitch lost all credibility with me after that.

@@keeperofthehammer6795 and? I rarely play killer for fun, its usually after a few horrendous games of survivor. Im there to win no matter what sometimes. But even when i get absolutely destroyed on either survivor or killer, even being tilted to the top of the world, i dont ever blame anything but my lack of skill (even if my initial reaction to a noed is yelling bad words at my monitor) nor do i expect the killer/survivor to care about how i feel anyways. @@AIHumanEquality I mean... If you have a bad habit of falsely reporting people to the point of reporting people often for total false positives, you probably shouldn't be allowed to report anyway. It'd have to be combined with actual report feedback, though, as in, BHVR actually responding to reports and letting you know the outcome of your reports. If people who reported others had to see that they aren't actually reporting hackers and all that I feel like it would help a lot with this kind of culture
@@xweert711 Making reports public knowledge would lead to harassment and hackers targeting specific reporters with alt accounts. Making false reports bannable would make people who make false reports thinking they're legitimate reports banned and lead to people not wanting to submit even legitimate reports out of fear of reprecussion. The best outcome would be for BHVR to make a way to know what happens in games (which currently they don't have so reporting without video evidence often does nothing).
@@AIHumanEquality When did I say it had to be public knowledge? That's not what I said at all. I was instead saying BHVR needs to have a better response system for reports, as in, BHVR responding to your reports and telling you the outcome of the report you filed for a player; something they already plan on implementing according to their own words and roadmap. I also explicitly said that people who make constant false reports should be punished, I didn't say that every report that is false needs to be punished. If you're going around abusing the report feature, you should be held accountable for it. Full stop. And it's pretty easy to determine if someone is abusing a report feature. Just a friendly reminder that the devs have stated that tunneling and camping are not bannable offenses. In fact, reporting for that reason could end up getting YOU banned.
Isn’t camping part of killer gameplay I mean there is a perk for killers that take away his terror radius away if he camps. I remember when the game was about to release that dbd put a killer trailer where they said “survivors better be careful saving ur teammates cause a killer could be watching” or something. Which pretty means killers are allowed to camp hook if they want.
Yes, tunneling and camping are not ban-able. But where have you seen that trying to report it can get you banned? Or that it carries a penalty at all? Thousands of false reports and troll/joke reports are submitted every day but I've never heard ONCE of any instance of someone getting penalized for spam reporting, reporting a non-bannable offense, false reporting/lying, troll/meme reporting. It sucks, but sadly they don't penalize people for reporting at all.
And I'm no expert in the game (playing on and off for years but not actually good), but isn't a killer camping a hook something of a boon for the Survivor team in general ? I mean, yeah, it sucks for the player being camped, no doubts about it, but while he's busy camping out his one kill, there's 3 other survivors just... free to do the objectives and roam the map unimpeded. Maybe two if there's one trying to go for the save. I'm also pretty sure the killer misses a bunch of points for this too. Sure, it sucks for the one targeted, but the killer is not really winning the game as a whole by doing this now, is he ?
@@Seth_Kay Most killers will win by doing this because of the nature of survivors being altruistic and wanting to go see if they can get the rescue. This would 100% result in the killer losing against the 3 other survivors IF solo queue had the proper tools to explain what is going on at all times, adding VC in the game would be the quickest way to fix this. Otherwise, because of the nature of solo/duo queue, camping killers will typically win majority of the time. The same goes for tunneling.
The IRONY of them calling them "Babygirl" and all giddy at how "they're so mad" and "such a noob" while babyboy is missing the wiggle skillchecks. I can't even!!!
I mean to be fair, it is boring when you play against someone who is clearly better than you. Hold m1 until I die isn't fun. But I don't hold it against the killer, not their fault they got paired with a lower skill team 😂

I empathize with that "okay" from the guy's friend when he told them to give up in the blight match, having tolerated too many rage quitters myself. There's no changing these people's minds once they're set on giving up in anything they do, and it doesn't matter how the match is going, they want you to end it when they say to. I will always feel that killers don't owe their opponents anything, and they shouldn't be expected to. It's nice if they do, but it should never be expected behavior, otherwise you're just feeding into this shitty behavior. I just hope this guy's friends don't get influenced.
I had a friend who got accidentally sandbagged by our randoms and he died, he was blowing up in vc especially after I refused to sandbag and kill them both on purpose. I refused to play with that person in dbd and a few months later blocked him out completely because he started name calling after a small misunderstanding. If you see people being overly rude or whatnot to killers, or anyone at all just drop them. You don't have to be incredibly kind to everyone but no one who is at least a semi decent person would do that.

Thing with this is that, as a friend, you need to know when to put your foot down yourself. I had a tense moment like this with a friend while we were playing cs. I had never touched the game and they blew up at me for not knowing player collision was a thing (never played an online fps with player collision). At which point I told them plainly that if they were going to yell at me like they were losing money over a stupid game that I'd just sign off for the night. We ended up talking it through and they realised they were being ridiculous. But there's a lot of people that are too scared to hurt others feelings so they won't tell them when they're being assholes. Then, of course, there's the people who generally don't like confrontation so they'd rather just go next than spend the following 15-20 minutes arguing.
Unsportsmanlike is supposed to be used for like post game chat toxicity, ingame greafing, like constant sandbagging, refusing to let them die by spamming hook, sandbagging someone in a corner all match, these aren't immediate ban offences but they are bannable if your account gets a huge amount of them in a small time frame

Also on Playstation. I just disabled friend requests and messages from strangers awhile ago. 3 straight years of absolute peace and quiet. So glad I don't have to deal with this nonsense.
I had an old streamer friend who acted this way. I noticed they rarely played Killer so they wouldn't contradict themselves because they were the type of person who complained about everything the killer "did"; but yet would play the same way when he did play Killer. He one time didn't take the hatch because the killer slugged him for a bit to secure a kill and that's when I started to lose respect for him at that point. I stopped following them because he yelled at his wife for interrupting him while he was streaming, and he said "She did it on purpose." when it did seem she didn't know he was and just forgot. A lot of the time I would say to him that "Anyone should be able to play how they want.", he would just ignore me and then continue to act the same way. What also made me stop following and being their friend was them being rude on Discord calls ignoring the people he was playing with just being more focused on the stream. Also, people just leaving his community out of nowhere without saying why was just odd to me. I was skeptical about people just leaving without a reason and thought there was more to it.
I'm not sure if you ever came by his channel before, idk but I can confirm that his behavior is disgusting and I am a mutual of his, not only does he like to act all nice and stuff, but he has a secret channel on his Discord where he would sent harassment to other smaller streamer and individual for playing dbd how they like to

I had an experience a couple days ago. Played on penn asylum with a wesker. Long story short, i was on death hook and escaped while two survivors were on hooks. These two raged at me, calling me slurs and verbally harassing me cause I didn’t rescue them. I told them I was on death hook but they didn’t care. The harassment went further when they went on my steam page sending me hate mail and adding me as a friend to send DM’s. Pausing at the steam comment being read out: I felt the cringe so hard my cringe got cringe. 😖 These types of people are so prevalent in this game and I appreciate the way you bring this to light. Hopefully it helps someone take accountability. ❤
This person has gone down this path so hard for so long now that they basically exploded all their previous friend groups. To the point that if anyone tried to talk to him about his behaviour, even just a "dude are you ok?" he would ban/block them on all platforms. Once upon a time they were significantly less toxic. But then their channel started to slowly do well and they just went off the deep end of toxicity. They slug/camp/tunnel basically every game, and then complain about killers doing that, and accuse them of doing it even when they are not because their ego cannot take that they got stomped. And this upsets me SOOO much because I once considered them a friend. But now they're just permanently tilted.
Oh I actually have ran into this user in the past. His voice was very familiar. There was a game where he was with a SWF flashlight group while I was playing T3 infinite myers they just kept flashlight saving and every pallet down flashlight etc. I just ended up slugging 2/4th of their team and 2 of them bleed out which was him and the other 2 were hooked. Then they try to mass report me on his stream and in the behavior website. I'm surprised he is still around. They were actually down to like 1 gen left and it was a close game.

Hopefully we can get more people out there that play fair and just have fun playing the game as it's meant to be played. :) See you in the fog
people watch streamers for multiple reasons, not only for prime pro-gaming content. Some of them are the streamers friend, or some streamers may have different games as main content and they just sidetrack to some others, hence not as good at them. Maybe someone is literally JUST starting to play dbd for the first time which can even drag in new viewers whom are curious how a complete beginner plays or even evolves. People can watch someone who is not looking back in chase for a multitude of reasons. Understand now?
The funniest part to me about your videos is that sure these are TTVs so you can find the receipts, but I'd say at least 70% of the community acts just like these people. It's actually why I completely dropped the game. Keep doing what you're doing, I may not play anymore but I still enjoy your vids. (Randomly came across your music too and enjoy it as well)

I say this a lot but DBD like, reveals the emotions of people to the extreme lol. I don't know why. In league of legends it's different but in DBD people are way too emotional where they blame others and harrass more.

I’ve seen so many of these “Toxic TTV” videos but I think the ones that piss me off the most are the ones that tell they’re friends to die on hook or disconnect so they can go to the next. I legit have a highlight of me commentating on my friends’ match like a tourney announcer as a joke after I was the first to die and it’s easily one of my favorites. They had fun and even made a come back, all of them escaped. Just because YOU die doesn’t mean the whole game should be over. I don’t know who I’d be more upset with. The person who does that or the friends that actually listen to that BS.
so the game works like this: Survivors should repair gens and run out in the meantime, the killer should stop that. WHY IS SO MANY UNWRITTEN RULES For Killer?
That would be because BHVR has treated survivors like spoiled children for years. The average survivor believes that if they lost, the killer must have done something wrong. They think they are Gods gift to DBD, despite the fact that this game is easier than pistol whipping the blind 🤦♂️
Who knows. That's what I'm wondering too. Whether it's these " killers mains " and survivors they'll say killers shouldn't do this and that at 5 gens like literally no one cares and the fact that they do is just ridiculous. People need to understand that these are multiplayer games, whether it's Call of Duty, Mortal Kombat not everyone is going to care about anyone's fun at all and people need to realize that.
I hope they, one day in the future make a statement, where they announce they will block user who falsely reports several times from using the report-feature.
The reason that's a bad idea is because what if someone is making legitimate reports and gets flagged as false reporting? Or someone thinks they are reporting actually cheaters but don't know they're making false reports? It would make people less likely to submit legitimate reports out of fear of reprecussion so it's not viable to do.
I've only just started watching videos about toxic DBD streamers and I'm shocked. I've never seen this level of toxicity in any other community. I realize most players aren't like this, but the ones who are go all out and broadcast it for the world to see.
I have 8k hours in dbd and judging by how this guy plays I can tell he's a very low elo player who gets paired against lower end killers and he still can't loop them lol. He has to be either newish to dbd or he just doesn't know how to play. this type of behavior is pretty common in dbd, sadly.
It’s crazy how people cannot take a loss. As someone who’s played competitive FPS, MMORPGS, and Asymmetrical games for most of my life I’ve lost WAY more than I’ve ever won. It’s how you learn, it’s how you get better. It sucks to lose, some people will rub it in your face too. You’re an adult and you choose how to react to situations, you can either learn or deflect

I got both blocked on twitter and they removed my follow on twitch through commander root cause i called him out on twitter cause he accused someone on twitter for cheating on dbd with no proof whatsoever
Do they realize that none of those things will get you banned? Tunneling, camping, hitting on hook, tea bagging, head shaking, bully squads, locker and pallet techs, slugging, none of it is grounds for banning. These are all mechanics in the game that are either intended or accepted by the company. Even claiming harassment requires footage to back it. The company doesn't just blindly take reports on face value. It not only doesn't work that way, it CAN'T work that way. This game can be incredibly tilting. I have had to walk away from it multiple times and over time I've been able to blame survivors less and less and realize that I have a lot of weak points when I play. The game still frustrates me, but I'm not angry at the players now. Usually. :) (I am still human.)
These are my new fav videos. Calling out the toxicity without releasing the names. Makes me feel better when some rando makes a fake profile or comes in stream to troll me. Thank you for shedding some light💡
Honestly I stopped playing this game quite a while ago. I don't mind watching it be played, but there's so much entitlement and toxicity in the community, as well as the base game bugs and balancing issues, I find myself happier not playing. The attitude of some people over this game is juvenile, ridiculous and entitled. Always love you shining light on negative behaviours in this game, Spooks.

Never underestimate the leaps in logic of an average TTV player. Just had one recently spamming chat after the game calling the killer a tunneler. A level 1 Trapper with only one hook and it wasn't even that survivor. Yeah dude, he was really going hard on you.
The fundamental problem of Dead by Daylight is the game design. Tunnelling is often the most logical tactic for a Killer. Although the devs have tried to mitigate tunnelling via different Killers, perks, Obsessions etc, tunnelling still makes the most sense a lot of the time for a Killer player purely from a gameplay perspective. I found playing Killer to be a nightmare and eventually stopped playing the game due to toxicity, bully squads etc, which got even worse as I got into the higher ranks. When I was learning Killer I quickly learned about the community reaction to tunnelling and actively tried not to do it as I want the game to be enjoyable for everyone playing. Sometimes that would cost me games, especially against bully squads. But I would get accused of tunnelling anyway all the time just like this TTV does when I wasn't tunnelling at all. But it makes the game so stupid for Killer, where a Killer amongst the 100 other decisions they have to make, has pressure to constantly decide 'is it fair for me to hit this guy', or 'do I let this person go even when they are right in my lap'. If I come across someone who just came off hook seconds earlier, (lets assume I'm not hook camping) in game terms it makes no sense to just let them run off and heal. And the extra time taken to avoid doing this can cost you a game. It's just a massive contradiction in optimal play vs what is fun for all the players. Why should a Killer player have to make these moral decisions in an already stressful game, where doing the 'right' thing actively penalises yourself? Note that I did play survivor as well and yes, it's not fun to be tunnelled, or feel like you are being tunnelled. It is understandable that survivor players get upset with it, it actively prevents you from playing the game. But the game design encourages it anyway. Camping hooks also falls under this category but at least the game discourages this for Killers due to generators. But it's still a good tactic. In some games against certain survivor squads (especially bully squads who will all stop doing gens to harass Killer/make saves) camping hooks can seem to newer Killer players to be the only viable strategy to stand a chance. It's just flawed game design. Stuff like Hatch and endgame Killer builds helped a bit to address timewasting and BMing survivors but there are still a ton of design choices in endgame that just encourage toxicity. A big reason there is so much toxicity in DBD is because the game design actively encourages player behaviours that are not fun to one of the teams. I doubt many of these can be fixed because they are so tied into the core game design. We've already seen how the anti face-camp mechanic can be easily circumvented.
Tunneling is best described as rushing the killer’s objective. Sometimes when survivors Gen rush it is best to take out a survivor by tunneling to make it easier for the killer to complete their objective. Yeah it is douchy but at the end of the day you as a killer who needs to kill survivors you may have to tunnel to slow the game down
what does "chased correctly" mean? - 10:40 last I checked the point of a chase is to avoid being caught, you got caught, and the chaser won that instance. That's pretty by the book, chased correctly. The dude is just one of those guys who screams everyone else sucks while being at the bottom of every scoreboard.
DBD is one of the first PvP online games where I have seen players expect your enemy to play nice. In no other game have I seen that. People tryhard super hard in other PvP games without people crying to the degree a lot of DBD players do. I never understood why.
I think the reason is because there isn't a ranked mode, and it's supposed to be a casual 4v1 party game. It doesn't make how people act right, but I think that's a lot of the reason behind the attitudes.
@@colorful_crowif they did add a ranked model what's stopping people like that guy still joining casual matches expecting to win with no challenge regardless
@plaguefellow4956 unfortunately nothing which is part of the reason there's isn't a ranked mode. I'm not saying dbd needs one. I'm just saying that since it's supposed to be a "casual party game," some people are going to complain no matter how the other side plays if it isn't giving them a free win.
Surprisingly, I ran into two or three ttv's in a row recently, and none of them trash talked or anything like that, and were pretty chill. One dude that wasn't a ttv tried to call me out for hard camping during endgame of one of the matches, and all of the other players said that it was understandable as I had no hooks and I was gen rushed into oblivion on the stranger things map, which is not to play on after not seeing it for years.
I can't believe someone, who is acting like that, crying like that and being toxic like that, actually has followers... people are watching that? Why??? It's really cringe
Iron Grasp makes perfect sense on Midwich (which I assume was an offering by the scratched mirror Myers). It's a generally killer sided map but the hook placement is awful. What a weird perk to get mad at. Just shows he doesn't really understand the game at all.
midwich is about as killer sided as badham if the survs aren't clowns, you said it yourself that the map inherently spawns hook deadzones, losing your first hook to it can be game over on the other scale of things survs that actually pay attention to where the killer is can be essentially untouchable by nascar-ing around the giant square hallway with a massive pre-run
"she's mad bc she sucks at the game" - proceeds to run chases without looking behind him, miss skillchecks while being carried, stand still looking at the killer and complain when they hit them, and call Franklins and Iron Grasp tryhard perks
You should include names. They deserve a taste of their own medicine. I get why you cant though. I always find it weird how not enough people play both sides to fully understand the game, but then again. Theres those that do play both and still act this way.
he can get in trouble if he does that, not only within DBD. But with ToS aswell from twitch and probably youtube too. It could be viewed as calling for harassing that person when in fact they deserve it but eh, not worth risking a bann for these lowlifes.
@@liandre9035 You won't get in any kind of trouble, he doesn't do it out of fear of getting in trouble he does it because harassing people isn't what his content is about.
The funniest thing is he misses the majority of the wiggle skill checks...?? Like even before his weird "bug" that denied him the checks. You're damned if you do, damned if you don't as Twins. If I protect my slug with Vic while waddling over with Charlotte, I'm camping. If I continue to use my killer power to attach with Vic or possibly even get a second down, I'm a toxic slugger. I'd also argue the majority of survivors simply don't realize that Victor does not get killer instinct if you crouch around him... and also, yes, like with Legion, KI goes through lockers. I'm not hacking Feng, instead of kicking Vic you crawled into a locker for some fucking reason. Not my fault. So far, the only killer I've ever been told to off myself over. After I complimented the team, too lol Edit: omg no way I hadn't yet gotten to the Oni gameplay. He's gonna complain about slugging with Twins while playing another killer who benefits from maximizing the use of his power by slugging? No fucking wayyyyyyyyy

10:35 - I hear that argument sooooo freaking often :( I am (or maybe was in a few days) a Trickster main and I had so many people argue with me that I should play a "real" killer and not that "noob shit". On the other hand, when I get 4k on Nurse, it's just I won because of my killer, not because of my skill... These people are just so lost on a different level... EDIT: 15:20 yes. hell yes.

@dominicalbertin1224 it's subjective, personally I do find killer less frustrating because I'm less likely to feel helpless but there's a lot of people who either get too stressed out or too frustrated playing killer compared to survivor.

There should be penalties for false reports.
It would be impossible to enforce without harming innocent players reporting people.

“This guy is a sweatlord” 😭, i as a killer main consider both Franklin’s and iron grasp a wasted perk bruh. This guy is is the definition of a loser

Don’t humor such garbage. I never have to deal with that because I have zero tolerance for such crybabies
I don’t think they understand the “unsportsmanlike” option is just for shz and giggles. There’s no reason to ban someone for being “unsportsmanlike”

These two raged at me, calling me slurs and verbally harassing me cause I didn’t rescue them. I told them I was on death hook but they didn’t care. I decided to troll them a bit cause it was getting ridiculous and left the lobby.
The harassment went further when they went on my steam page sending me hate mail and adding me as a friend to send DM’s. I asked both of them if all of this was worth it and what’s the point of this drama? I told them they were taking this waaaay too personal and at the end of the day, it’s a fucking video game. One of them kept telling me to look at his steam clips to show off how much better he is than me and I just laughed and blocked them at this point.
TLDR: some people are just assholes and don’t want peace.

Thank you for calling these people out I really respect what you are doing, as a Killer Main myself, I hate dealing with trolls and idiots even though I will do my best to play as fair as I possibly can.

I'm pretty sure they already do that, that's what I've heard tho
I know who this person is and i used to be friends with them (don't worry won't spread his twitch name around). Thank you for the call out vid it's needed.
The fake laugh! I always LOVE the fake laugh trying to mask actual anger! This guy really has it all.

Its because it gives them more people to blame for their failure.
To be fair, for every match you play there's 4 survivors per 1 killer. That being said I play both roles pretty equally and I still kind of agree with you.

The level of projecting coming from this dude is just too damn high.
Gj as usual spooks!
EDIT: I wrote this BEFORE you covered his hypocrisy and holy crap!
Yeah it is douchy but at the end of the day you as a killer who needs to kill survivors you may have to tunnel to slow the game down
Most killers hit on hook now because it stops the stupid, long, loud scream everyone does now.
Just thought I'd throw that out here.
I don’t understand why these people still play. They seem to just hate it so much.
what does "chased correctly" mean? - 10:40
last I checked the point of a chase is to avoid being caught, you got caught, and the chaser won that instance.
Don't play league of legends you will be told to end your life for picking a none meta character in a none ranked game
Honestly i think league is less toxic. DbD isnt a competitive game and people treat it as if theyre training for a world championship.

Jump Scare Myers works great on Hawkins I love that map has returned
honestly i cant stand it.
Iron Grasp makes perfect sense on Midwich (which I assume was an offering by the scratched mirror Myers). It's a generally killer sided map but the hook placement is awful. What a weird perk to get mad at. Just shows he doesn't really understand the game at all.
midwich is about as killer sided as badham if the survs aren't clowns, you said it yourself that the map inherently spawns hook deadzones, losing your first hook to it can be game over
on the other scale of things survs that actually pay attention to where the killer is can be essentially untouchable by nascar-ing around the giant square hallway with a massive pre-run
"she's mad bc she sucks at the game" - proceeds to run chases without looking behind him, miss skillchecks while being carried, stand still looking at the killer and complain when they hit them, and call Franklins and Iron Grasp tryhard perks
Imagine getting mad in a game where someone is a killer and their objective is to, shockingly, kill you 😮
