I want DBD to have a better banning system, but knowing people like this exist, I know they'd immediately use and abuse it. I think a block feature would probably be better. Then if somebody blocks so many people that they can't find a lobby, they might have to grapple with the fact that maybe the other people aren't the problem.
It’s only a better banning system if it can decipher between troll reports and valid reports without a need for reports. Honestly if the banning system is solid reports are just a placebo and make no actual difference, the system should instantly recognize cheats/ abusive language in post lobby chat. This really isn’t hard for a game like DBD since it’s not a competitive game for a program to determine what is ban worthy
They should add a drop down menu or additional buttons to quickly tag reasons when reporting people. i.e. buttons like “body blocking” “camping”. If someone creates a report of exploits/trolling that contains those tags, the system should say “body blocking is not a violation of DBD guidelines. Would you like to block this player instead?” Or something like that.
@@Nope_Nope- they could also implement a feature like CS:GO or town of salem where players can watch a replay of the game and chat. after enough people confirm its bad, a punishment is dealt. This allows a community to engage in a reasonable self-moderation and it works fairly well. CS:GO's system is called Overwatch. "The Overwatch lets the CS:GO community regulate itself by allowing qualified and experienced members of the community (‘investigators‘) to review reports of disruptive behavior, determine whether those reports are valid, and apply temporary bans if appropriate." Now consider. How popular is CS:GO? Several times as popular as DBD. So it's not a "too many players" issue. It's just that BHVR is dumb and bad. The only complaint that can be made about this system is really, the company should be able to hire and pay workers to do this job. It's not like they (the games with enough players that a small team couldn't review reports) are strapped for cash. But how much should a community be separate from the decisions made about who is in the community?
@@Me-kt3gh the thing is, real bodyblocking is a reportable/punishable offense, but is incredibly hard to do in modern DBD - it requires you to physically trap a player to a degree that they are unable to progress the game, which is (almost) only possible if you're hacking The other way is if a killer and survivor team up to block someone in

I'm pretty sure when the devs meant "No blocking," they were referring to block blocking a survivor in an area where they cannot escape. Basically trapped and can't play the game. Both killer and other survivors can do this, so the rule applies to both. Taking hits for your teammates and trying to get a 4-man out is not toxic or banable.
My personal favorite thing about this is you can actually HEAR the survivors healing to his left as he walks by complaining about them healing at 11:00
I can understand getting frustrated becuz u cant hit on person but reporting for body block?..now thats something i never saw and ive played dbd for a good 5 years and a half
I love you man! your too friendly and even helping out the smaller streamers! bless you gamer and you followers, I am glad to have visited this channel for the first time!! 🍻
I’m actually fairly certain I went up against this guy a while back. Was running some solo queue survivor and got a match on Léry’s against a Nemesis. As the game goes on there ended up being a 2 man slug, my teammate body blocked a doorway for 1 person that was being carried to a hook, got downed so I had to step in, my body block allowed for a full team recovery. After that the killer started camping us out of the game. I managed to get out along with the other teammate who helped body block for the save, and in the end game chat the guy was fuming about how we were scum for body blocking so we deserved to get camped out of the game. The end game chat was exactly this streamer’s MO. Best response to people who think body blocking is toxic is to politely tell them that you get blood points for taking protection hits and there’s even perks to both help and counter protection hits, whereas the devs actually penalize camping a hook with taking away blood points and adding a negative score. Sorry I’m late to the party but I thought I should add my 2 cents!
doesnt mean its not unfair, and no theres not, the only good bodyblocking perk is starstruck but even then you still have hit cooldown and they can still get away. Forced penance is the only real counter to bodyblocking but its awful, as it doesnt help in endgame, and it also is terrible all around "oh no im broken, might aswell do a gen"
@@everythingpony (super late response lol) body blocking is against the rules when it is used to negatively effect your team, like if you body block a door to get somebody killed as a survivor, unlike body blocking/taking a hit, which literally gives you blood points and has perks that make taking a hit worth it
Omg, all the times they must have rolled their eyes at me for being a noob. I am eating so many of my end game rages. Thank goodness I have seen the light. I’m sorry dbd devs!!! This guy (RUclipsr making this video) is amazing at helping you analyze your dbd gameplay / trash talk….
@FluffyStarz🍥 They've got a long way. Still not perfect, probably never going to be, but all those balance changes, bugs fixes, the implementation of challenges, OG killers that can be purchased for free with IG currency... It's rare to see a multiplayer game where you don't need to spend more money than the original cost (which is low) to keep enjoying it after a few years.
@FluffyStarz🍥 I got the game 4 years ago and currently have 1k hours. Please use arguments instead of trying to discredit me. People can and will have different opinions. It doesn't make them automatically wrong. It's tough to hear, I know, but not everyone agrees with you.
@FluffyStarz🍥 you can't say I'm objectively wrong when we both have valid points and the result is only from our own judgement. Never said there was no problems. There still are a ton of them, but I enjoy the game nonetheless. My time is not wasted if I enjoy playing, because that's the whole goal of videogames. The funds are badly invested, big issues aren't fixed, there's not enough moderation and the report system doesn't work. I'm aware of all that. There's no anticheat. As a developer it infuriates me as it's really easy to prevent speedhacking and all other sorts of hacks (except wallhack). I've spent 30€ in this game, and I think it has been was more worth it than most of my other games.
"we've been getting a lot of reports lately" "Oh yeah? Damn people just cant stop being toxic, why dont they just try to have fun. How many independent reports?" "One" "One?" "Yeah it's one dude, i-i think he's confused? He's just reporting mechanics." "Just ignore it, not our fault he doesnt understand how the game works."
He's only got Tier 1 but he was trying to commit.. I would have left them injured since they are already contaminated and infect someone else to get Tier 2, he needs to hit someone else anyways.
The game literally gives you points for taking a protection hit. How can you say it's against the rules? 🤣🤣🤣 The body block by the zombie was the icing on the cake AND the candles
I've seen a lot of people who legitimately believe taking protection hits is banable because of the report screen listing "body blocking" without further explanation. I've had to explain it more than once.
If it was against the rules, Mettle Of Man would be the worst perk in the game. Risk being banned 3 times to resist one health state. Same with Forced Penance
Well, there are also survivors who report killers for slugging. Like unbreakable isnt a thing or the bleeding out mechanic for the that matter. There are certain actions that are reportable, but if you cannot be bothered to look whos up, there they worth reporting in the first place? Honestly tho, Behavouir has done a pretty poor job with their report system. The descriptions in the report file are more misleading then anything else and should instead just refer to proper explanation of reportable offenses.
Whenever he says "That's against the rules!" he becomes the adult version of that one kindergardener that is like "No you can't shoot your laser because I have a laser-proof force field."

You should record yourself being the most stereotypical salty entitled Survivor ever and then react to it as though it was somebody else for an April Fool's video
In the rules of trolling, it says bodyblocking, however this means bodyblocking survivors to give the killer an advantage, aka. sandbagging. There is no rule against body blocking the killer or taking hits
You can tell this guy is so worked up when he plays as killer that every time he tries to hit someone he is pulling or pushing his mouse which is actually making him miss 9 times out of 10. Not a single one of the clips shown had anything that is a reportable offense as far as the actual rules, just the made up code of conduct that survivors think killers should play by. Keep up the entertaining videos and hopefully guys like this will just burn out and stop playing and leave the dbd community.
I'd like to point out that you focused on the "code of conduct that survivors think killers should play by.". At least those are a tiny bit understandable on paper, but his conflicting rules as a killer were just hilarious. Do gens instead of unhooking, but don't gen rush! Stand still and let me hit you, but don't take a hit for someone else!
its funny how its a code of conduct that survivors expect killers to play by.... but most of these clips are from the killer side lol. interesting how it goes both ways sometimes
This has nothing to do with the "usual" code of conduct, he tossed that fucker out the window and made his own ten amandments. Twice, so they contradict eachother. Also don't single out the "survivor rulebook" here, more than half of the video is killer footage.
This guy hates bodyblocking and think its against the rules? They ever heard of Mettle of Man? (Edit: Also as a Nemesis main them not abusing the entity and getting close to grab Marvin's Blood before the perk hurt me inside)
As a killer main I will simply add these few things about his complaints 1: Body blocking can be stopped with Mad Grit as that punishes the one you're carrying by not allowing them to wiggle for a few seconds, and Forced Penace as this prevents the body blocker the ability to heal for two minutes allowing then to be an easy target after the hook. 2: Perks like Jolt, CoB, Eruption and Overcharge are a great way of slowing down gens and if you do notice you're facing a team rushing gens don't foolishly chase all game set up a 3 gen situation and control it they'll come to you once they've realized their mistake. Lastly: Learn your killer and figure out the best playstyle that fits for you, I personally run Pyramid Head with Overcharge (to prevent tap stops on regressing gens) Mad Grit and Forced Penance in case someone wants to get in my way, and jolt (even though it doesn't stack with OC I can use it to scout around and see what is being worked on)

"The Overwatch lets the CS:GO community regulate itself by allowing qualified and experienced members of the community (‘investigators‘) to review reports of disruptive behavior, determine whether those reports are valid, and apply temporary bans if appropriate."
Now consider.
@@Nope_Nope- i mean... How would it recognize abusive language of the profanity filter doesn't even work properly?
@@Me-kt3gh the thing is, real bodyblocking is a reportable/punishable offense, but is incredibly hard to do in modern DBD - it requires you to physically trap a player to a degree that they are unable to progress the game, which is (almost) only possible if you're hacking
The other way is if a killer and survivor team up to block someone in

I'm pretty sure when the devs meant "No blocking," they were referring to block blocking a survivor in an area where they cannot escape. Basically trapped and can't play the game. Both killer and other survivors can do this, so the rule applies to both. Taking hits for your teammates and trying to get a 4-man out is not toxic or banable.
My personal favorite thing about this is you can actually HEAR the survivors healing to his left as he walks by complaining about them healing at 11:00
the streamer cant hear them over the sound of his own whining
This guy needs to ACTUALLY be banned for toxicity and false reports.

That ain’t two cents that’s two dollars
@@BraidensWorldProductions I'd take two dollars over two cents though
doesnt mean its not unfair, and no theres not, the only good bodyblocking perk is starstruck but even then you still have hit cooldown and they can still get away.
Forced penance is the only real counter to bodyblocking but its awful, as it doesnt help in endgame, and it also is terrible all around "oh no im broken, might aswell do a gen"
Body blocking is against the rules, the devs said so
@@everythingpony (super late response lol)
body blocking is against the rules when it is used to negatively effect your team, like if you body block a door to get somebody killed as a survivor, unlike body blocking/taking a hit, which literally gives you blood points and has perks that make taking a hit worth it

@FluffyStarz🍥 They've got a long way. Still not perfect, probably never going to be, but all those balance changes, bugs fixes, the implementation of challenges, OG killers that can be purchased for free with IG currency...

This guy hates bodyblocking and think its against the rules? They ever heard of Mettle of Man?
(Edit: Also as a Nemesis main them not abusing the entity and getting close to grab Marvin's Blood before the perk hurt me inside)
As a killer main I will simply add these few things about his complaints
1: Body blocking can be stopped with Mad Grit as that punishes the one you're carrying by not allowing them to wiggle for a few seconds, and Forced Penace as this prevents the body blocker the ability to heal for two minutes allowing then to be an easy target after the hook.
