One of my 3 friends that's a female make that aww that's sweet for you to say, and the 2 boys said that's nice of you to think of us like that" there's more that me and those 3 said, but we would be here forever. But when I got off that day I made a vow to get a hold of my temper and act like a mature person and although it took a while, but after 1 1/2 months after I turned 16, not only I never get hardly angry anymore more just annoyed, but just ignore it when it happens, but also any toxic person that calls me names and such, I just laugh it off and start to roast them with jokes while my friends just laugh, a lot of them of course kick me off the message board and block me, but I could care less. So the moral of the story is I went from being a nice but ill temper bear that screams like there getting killed by something, too being being a gentle, nice and hilarious bear that's calm. So yeah definitely rewarding when you try.

I left his community because of it all and banned him from mine because of it too. But I am happy to see karma finally coming his way. His community just enables him and the ones that left including myself are finally speaking up about him.
The fact that Bigbird still does the exact same things that got him called out in the first place and wanted to "talk it out" means he doesn't view what he is doing is wrong....but at the same time didn't want ppl to judge him for it while his community enables his behavior ....then shifts and deflects any accountability while at the same time trying to use it as a promotional opportunity like a true egotistical narcissist...dude is gross and needs help
I've come to learn that these types of people are too far gone at this point and beyond help. If he didn't try to change before, he probably won't in the future. The biggest issue I think is definitely his community enabling his behaviour like you pointed out.

As someone who personally knows big bird and being his former friend , i have tried for over a year to "help" him and call him out on a bunch of stuff, like the follower shaming etc etc But i'm done he has only gotten worse and worse

I think most of these people should just quit dbd. Ive stop playing for like 2 months and ive felt much better mentally and phyisically. For the people asking how you could possibly get so affected by games, it's usually other problems that playing competitive games just inhances. That's some pretty insane mental control. TBH, some comments like what this streamer wrote about people being "beneath him" sounds like my own thoughts (but that's because of bullies and stupid people who made me form a complex) It typically comes from a sense of extreme inferiority and rage, and they have issues to work with, sometimes caused by others.

I think some people forget they are playing a game against other people trying to have fun, not for their opponent, but themselves. I had a TTV that I loved and supported so much, everyday... they had an interaction with another TTV where they viewer shamed them and said some pretty nasty stuff about how they were raised and their parents. I just couldn't continue to support this streamer afterwards. It broke my heart because they just took it way too far and it felt gross. I even said something to the TTV who was being toxic and negative but he just kind of laughed at me and continued to call the other streamer names and shame them. I guess I'm just not one of those people who can sit around and continue to support someone who shames someone else over a videogame! 😢 Real quick.... I just want to add that I do now support the smaller streamer that the bigger streamer was shaming and they're a really good person and I'm glad I found their stream. (I was subscribed to and watching both streams at the same time when they got into the lobby together on DBD, so I thought it would be a fun time. I was wrong and it made me sad)
As someone who was once a massive bully irl (not even just in games) and someone who had very toxic masculinity mentality(I was also very bigoted against lgbt and racist)I can speak from experience. If someone wants to make an effort to change you will see it. You can't claim you're trying to change then continue the same behavior for months. That shows you're not really trying to change and again I know from experience that changing yourself to be a better person is not that hard if you actually honestly try.

I found this funny because I actually just talked to someone who you covered on your video, he said you took it down so I won't mention his name, I have stopped by his stream and we talked for awhile and he told me today is his mother's birthday and I congratulated him and his life for moving on from toxic behavior and hate. This was me, your community, stopping by someone you told us to support, and I did just that I spread positivity and love. Instead of hate and trolling. I wanted to say as a member of your community I love going and talking and supporting those you tell us to as they truly are nice people just in the crosshairs of jerks and trolls.
I think it would be dope to see a video series about DBD streamers who stopped being unhinged and turned their act around. But unfortunately it rarely ever happens...
I've had my fair share of toxic moments when playing DbD...Way to many in fact. BUT the only difference is that I realize that I was a part of the problem now I try to be as positive as I can be regardless of the results of the match or what I have going on IRL. I always do my best to say "gg! glnm!" and move on from it. If a video was ever made about me it would be a real wake up call. Thanks for pointing these types of people out so we can continue to uplift the people who truly deserve positive praise and rewarded for their incredibly hard work.

How badass is it that with one video, Spooks takes a person's viewers from in the 70's, to almost 900. That is making a difference, and what is the other guy doing? Complaining. If he wants to know what to do, find someone who is struggling, he has viewers, tell his viewers to follow someone for him, and make a change. Take some inspiration from Spook and try to change, every little bit helps. This guy can change if he wants. Sure he will get the trolls still, but if he makes a conscious effort, they will get tired if he is just helping and being kind to others.

This TTV is a bully that peaked in high school and it really shows. He's incapable of doing anything wrong, he's equally as incapable when it comes to apologising on the rare occasion he does something wrong, and if you don't see him as the victim in every single scenario then you're nothing more than a bully or keyboard warrior.

I’m a very small, humble streamer who has experienced and still does experience this bulling. I’m not perfect on the game and I try to Improve every day but the bullying is real. I started to stream a year ago and stopped doing so because of this. After your video I started to stream again, and I hope I’ll have the strength to keep going. At the end of the day, its a video game. We can all have our moments of gettin tilted, but normal people move on & become immune to this type of behavior. I believe most of these people project and have turmoil within themselves and then in turn take it out on people online where they "feel" they have some sort of power over someone. Yea I've dealt with people like this before on my twitch. I won't lie I do get angry sometimes and I'll say things on stream like "They played like an A-hole or they are being toxic for no reason." But I don't go out of my way to constantly down them. I did get a bit more triggered last night after the match I had but I said what I said because of over thinking. I say what I say at the start out of annoyance but then I move on and let it go. I had that exact issue last night while playing and it was rather early in my stream. I try to move on and not make a super big deal out of it, but as you said it's a process. I have and other instances where I deal with people like that but I won't name drop because I do genuinely wish them the best.

Most DBD players are just average gamers. The reason the toxic ones look bigger than they are is cause they like to be loud. Much like the extreme parts of society.
@@AIHumanEquality I'd have to agree that the number of decent people within the dbd community are overwhelmingly in the minority, though the truly abusive are at least a quarter of the population. It is almost a guarantee that every match has at least one player hurling abuse in the end game chats unless it is a lobby on console, and the number of killers who will hit survivors repeatedly while they are hooked has risen dramatically. If the "average gamer" opinion is based on them not saying toxic stuff in the post-match chat it seems to be only because they can't, not because they won't, since killers from across all platforms will hit on hook or even slug just to watch the players bleed out, and survivors will teabag the killer at every single pallet then stay at the gates for the entire end game timer doing the same to gloat over the escape. Maybe the nature of the game is to blame for promoting the attitude but to say both sides are right to hit on the hook, gloat and taunt so long as they don't type anything in chat... I think the actions are just as toxic as the words.
People like this are worse than normal bullies. Mainly because they can get away with their bad behaviour, if the authority they cry to gives them even a modicum of lenience. Personally, I think never responding to this would've been better. They never wanted anything other than attention.

These videos are fairly comical, and it makes me want to put ttv in my name to get the kicks. I played a game the other night as wraith, and god forbid I kicked gens and didn’t fall bait to people trying to take aggro. I think most of these people should just quit dbd. Ive stop playing for like 2 months and ive felt much better mentally and phyisically.
For the people asking how you could possibly get so affected by games, it's usually other problems that playing competitive games just inhances. I said this while responding to another comment but just so that everyone knows. Dbd, and games as a whole, aren't the sparks that light a flame, but the sticks that keep it burning
It's fine to be mad while playing games but don't let that madness spill out into being toxic after/outside the game.

TBH, some comments like what this streamer wrote about people being "beneath him" sounds like my own thoughts (but that's because of bullies and stupid people who made me form a complex) It typically comes from a sense of extreme inferiority and rage, and they have issues to work with, sometimes caused by others.
I'm glad that you decided to take the time to address this individual. They say "Oh hey you could have just tried to talk to me", but it's 100% bullshit. I had a TTV that I loved and supported so much, everyday... they had an interaction with another TTV where they viewer shamed them and said some pretty nasty stuff about how they were raised and their parents. I just couldn't continue to support this streamer afterwards. It broke my heart because they just took it way too far and it felt gross. I even said something to the TTV who was being toxic and negative but he just kind of laughed at me and continued to call the other streamer names and shame them. I guess I'm just not one of those people who can sit around and continue to support someone who shames someone else over a videogame! 😢
Real quick.... I just want to add that I do now support the smaller streamer that the bigger streamer was shaming and they're a really good person and I'm glad I found their stream. (I was subscribed to and watching both streams at the same time when they got into the lobby together on DBD, so I thought it would be a fun time. I was wrong and it made me sad)
As someone who was once a massive bully irl (not even just in games) and someone who had very toxic masculinity mentality(I was also very bigoted against lgbt and racist)I can speak from experience. If someone wants to make an effort to change you will see it. You can't claim you're trying to change then continue the same behavior for months. That shows you're not really trying to change and again I know from experience that changing yourself to be a better person is not that hard if you actually honestly try.

I found this funny because I actually just talked to someone who you covered on your video, he said you took it down so I won't mention his name, I have stopped by his stream and we talked for awhile and he told me today is his mother's birthday and I congratulated him and his life for moving on from toxic behavior and hate. This was me, your community, stopping by someone you told us to support, and I did just that I spread positivity and love. Instead of hate and trolling. I wanted to say as a member of your community I love going and talking and supporting those you tell us to as they truly are nice people just in the crosshairs of jerks and trolls.
I think it would be dope to see a video series about DBD streamers who stopped being unhinged and turned their act around.

I've had my fair share of toxic moments when playing DbD...Way to many in fact. BUT the only difference is that I realize that I was a part of the problem now I try to be as positive as I can be regardless of the results of the match or what I have going on IRL. I always do my best to say "gg! glnm!" and move on from it. If a video was ever made about me it would be a real wake up call. Thanks for pointing these types of people out so we can continue to uplift the people who truly deserve positive praise and rewarded for their incredibly hard work.

I love the idea of Spooks becoming the TTV parole officer where he goes and checks on people he's tried to get to change before and makes sure they aren't violating their parole and harassing or viewer shaming people again. New take on the content cop
How badass is it that with one video, Spooks takes a person's viewers from in the 70's, to almost 900. That is making a difference, and what is the other guy doing? Complaining. If he wants to know what to do, find someone who is struggling, he has viewers, tell his viewers to follow someone for him, and make a change. Take some inspiration from Spook and try to change, every little bit helps. This guy can change if he wants. Sure he will get the trolls still, but if he makes a conscious effort, they will get tired if he is just helping and being kind to others.

It's not a big ego, this guy's clearly either a narcissist or somebody with a very strong victim mentality.
- Cannot accept that he's in the wrong, goes as far as to completely invent a new story to paint himself as a victim to avoid admitting he's at fault.
- Shifts the blame for his actions onto other people ("He shouldn't have made that video on my terrible behaviour toward other people because it's harassment")
- In every situation he must always be the victim in some way ("He made that video on me and made me look bad", "People came to me to harass me")
- Uses his stream and stream viewers as an echo chamber to try to convince people that he is actually a victim because several people agree with the narrative which he presents so it must be true.
This TTV is a bully that peaked in high school and it really shows. He's incapable of doing anything wrong, he's equally as incapable when it comes to apologising on the rare occasion he does something wrong, and if you don't see him as the victim in every single scenario then you're nothing more than a bully or keyboard warrior.

Yea I've dealt with people like this before on my twitch. I won't lie I do get angry sometimes and I'll say things on stream like "They played like an A-hole or they are being toxic for no reason." But I don't go out of my way to constantly down them. I did get a bit more triggered last night after the match I had but I said what I said because of over thinking. I say what I say at the start out of annoyance but then I move on and let it go. I had that exact issue last night while playing and it was rather early in my stream. I try to move on and not make a super big deal out of it, but as you said it's a process.
I have and other instances where I deal with people like that but I won't name drop because I do genuinely wish them the best.

@@AIHumanEquality I'd have to agree that the number of decent people within the dbd community are overwhelmingly in the minority, though the truly abusive are at least a quarter of the population. It is almost a guarantee that every match has at least one player hurling abuse in the end game chats unless it is a lobby on console, and the number of killers who will hit survivors repeatedly while they are hooked has risen dramatically. If the "average gamer" opinion is based on them not saying toxic stuff in the post-match chat it seems to be only because they can't, not because they won't, since killers from across all platforms will hit on hook or even slug just to watch the players bleed out, and survivors will teabag the killer at every single pallet then stay at the gates for the entire end game timer doing the same to gloat over the escape. Maybe the nature of the game is to blame for promoting the attitude but to say both sides are right to hit on the hook, gloat and taunt so long as they don't type anything in chat... I think the actions are just as toxic as the words.
People like this are worse than normal bullies.

I’ve recently got back into Dbd and have been enjoying it. Never played much before, but I’ve been enjoying killer main so far.
These videos are fairly comical, and it makes me want to put ttv in my name to get the kicks. I played a game the other night as wraith, and god forbid I kicked gens and didn’t fall bait to people trying to take aggro. I hooked two and then they just ran at me because they couldn’t take me just playing the game😂
