Hi Jovita, I have seen the other video as well which does not include retinol.
I want to incorporate retinol in my skincare. However, I also want to continue using Vitamin C.
Please let me know if is it safe to include Vitamin C in one of the days of this routine?

Thanks very much Jovita, if I don’t need salicylic acid (drier skin, not acne prone really ), what other BHA would you recommend?
BHA is actually recommended for oily and acne prone skin. You can use an AHA instead.
Jovi I have a strong doubt about retinol.... if I start using retinol and it's working after 3 months... is it necessary to take a break to using retinol , why because I'm asking I searched in Google they said use it 3 months and take a rest about 3 months is it's right pls correct my doubt Jovi plss if retinol working on me thn I use it for 365 days or not pls help mee. 😢

Retinol works perfectly for me since beginning
But whenever I use vitamin C, even in the evening, next day my skin gets darker as if it has got burns

Have you tried other brands of vitamin c?

Same happens when I use Garnier Oil infused micellar water.

Hey Jovi, if I am using retinol in the form of a moisturizer (like the Olay one), should I apply it the same way? Once a week? Or daily? I have never used retinol btw.
Honestly it depends on the percentage of retinol in the cream. But if I have to generalize I’d say don’t use it everyday. You can use it on alternate nights max

Can I use vitamin C toner before retinol serum?
Absolutely not! Vitamin C and Retinol should not be combined. In my recommendations for retinol products, I've included some options that contain vitamin C as an ingredient. These are safe to use because they are formulated in a laboratory, and they know just the right percentage of both the actives to mix.
