- I finally found some time to take my 2021 JL 2 door Rubicon off-road in Uwharrie with my youngest son Levi.
Let us know what you think, and hopefully we can get a few friends together for the next adventure.
Glad to find some more 2 door videos! Especially a green one, it feels impossible to find 2 door content that's not just a parking lot review.

I bought a 2021 green jeep with the tan seats 2 door manual tranny. I swear I was thinking of calling her "guns". Mines a sport though...so rename yours "master guns" and I'll keep "guns".
Saw ur hat from another video.. Former marine as well? Me too! 2007-2012, missed Iraq, got to my unit a month after they left for their last Iraq pump. I made two afghan deployments though.

SEMPER!!! I was in 2002-1017 Was a Gunnery Seargent so that’s how the Jeep got her name.
Did Afghanistan 2004, 2008, Iraq in 2005. A few other things along the way.
I got most of my off road experience from Afghanistan. It’s a bit different when you pay for your own repairs though. I used to rip drive shafts and break 7-ton frames making those trucks go places they weren’t supposed to. Lol

I air down to 14 for trails and 10 I’m snow and sand 2dr JLR
My Psi is usually dependent on how I want the foot print to be. Softer terrain like sand and snow as well as certain types of mud, absolutely go low. Nothing at Uwarrie is that bad.
Just now found your videos!! Great looking 2dr JLR!!! What is your stance with a 2.5” and 37”? I have a 2dr JLR too. Love it!!
It’s a good all around setup, but personally I’d gone with a good 3.5” lift for just a bit more tire clearance. I wanted the Fox Shocks and warranty so that was my reasoning for the Mopar lift.
How many miles do you have on it ? And any problem so far ?, any regret ? Thinking to get one (6 cyl) but I’m not really sure, but I’m watching the 4 cyl and it’s really impressive
Way better than the V6 in my opinion after the mods. I put another 2000+ miles on the the Jeep and traded it towards a 392. I’d go for a 4xe to make up for the slight turbo lag and lower end torque. If you’re going for a 2 door then the 2.0 is great. Way quicker than the v6 unless you throw a supercharger on it. Then V6 would be better. Just depends on what you want to do past the “stock” setup.

How has your luck been with the mopar 2” kit? I wanted to originally get this lift but I’ve read some skeptical reviews about stuff not being long enough, shocks. Springs Boeing ect?
How has it been to you?
It’s a good all round lift. Quality parts, not over engineered. I’m pretty happy with it. The next episode I’m going to address some minor issues that may help others experience with this setup. I also have a 4dr setup on a 2dr so that plays into account.

@@namrebo5199 actually the 4 door lift was a happy accident for me. The dealer ordered the wrong kit, but after some thought and discussion with Chuck I decided to do it anyway since it would give me a little more lift and hold more weight. The ride is a bit stiffer, but factory warranty stays. Hope that helps
Very nice…i am building my 2021 2-dr JL as well. Running 39” tires, 3.5” lift, and have a set of dynatrac axles on order. If you are in the TN area hit me up for a ride sometime.

is that beadlock wheels ? if yes, why you didnt fit the tires on beadlock mod instead of normal mod ?

We’ll get more into the operation of the JL in our technical off-roading video. Need a cameraman here soon haha I’m gonna need both hands. But we’re storyboarding it now. This was kind of an impromptu father son let’s go have a fun day vid.
Also they’re not actually bead locks, I liked the look but didn’t want the weight. They double as a guard.

Not as much but yes.
Also if you go with a lighter tire it will be even better.
