Thank you Thank you Thank you!! I have been back and forth with sooooo many cheap people that complain about FI interchiller price and if it's worth it. It's a life saver and so daily friendly with stage 2. Oh and Kirk is freakin awesome with customer relations. TREMENDOUSLY helped me set up mine on my Sierra w/ Jokerz ported Lt4 blower Great content
This is why you have my car now! Love the video. Could you use a three way valve to use the heat exchanger to pre cool hot liquid before the inter chiller?
I did that previously and it's not worth it. Adds another restriction to flow and then would need some fancier electronics to bypass it once temps were in a particular spot in relation to ambient. Because the HX isn't as good sometimes it prevents the system from cooling down in previous testing.
Hey so I'm just watching this now, and realized you're monitoring the manifold temp sensor. It's not the correct sensor your want to monitor after the cooling bricks. The sensor you want to monitor is the B1S3 (sae) temp sensor. I forgot the name but it's in your channels under airflow
When doing my install I ran my coolant straight from the interchiller to the super charger because In my theory that is the coldest the coolant will be in the circulating system and the tank is just there to continue to store the cooled fluid and also be be volume when the ac pump kicks off. But your way seems like a good idea too wonder which way be more efficient. My setups almost identical seems the mat temps you are seeing are very similar to what I’m seeing.
I've tested running the opposite way and interchiller to tank is more effective. However you will still see great gains either way. On the Corvette with the engine tank we do tank first due to fitment and it's still very effective.
have you seen the pnp tech works 4 way diverter for a interchiller? had it installed with my stage 1 fi interchiller worked awesome. had to dump it when i upgraded to the stage 2, just no room for a hx with the extra condenser on a 5th gen zl1
Are there any weather conditions that maybe the inter cooler doesn't work so well? For myself HOT dry conditions in AZ. '13 Gen 2 CTS V 977WHP. Trunk cooling tank. MAGGIE 2650.
The biggest reason would be road course racing in my opinion. The interchiller doesn't keep up in that condition. Sometimes people forget to turn their AC on which is why we call it the failsafe.
@@completestreetperformance that’s good to know. I’ve blown through my factory cats and want something I’m not gonna blow out. Looked at high flow but they don’t fix the CEL. Researched some more and found out I need more flow and volume.
Man every time I watch this channel I get anxiety and dizzy sitting in my chair. You don't need to be told this but going down end that Shelly Rock that is so unbelievably dangerous of cave ins because of your movements could dislodge one rock and then you're trapped
You're awesome, your products are awesome. You'd think if a person had money to buy a ZL1 they would buy the right color. That convertible car and wrap are disgusting. Nice HP though!
You sure are contributing in great ways to the performance industry!!!

Great content
Love the safety shoes 😊
Work flops
Gale Banks has been doing this same research forever but really good to see it on performance cars. It's all about cool air.
Excellent test Andrew. I understand the amount of work that goes into doing something like this.
I enjoy your humor also the good content lol . Thanks

What was ambient? And how much boost?
Awesome Video. Great Educational Experience 😁
Great video and information 👍🏻
Can you show us the plumbing setup? Wiring? Are there bypass valves? How does this work?
Just ordered the CSP headers a couple days ago.
appreciate the data, hard to argue with those numbers
Well I’m definitely getting an interchiller system for the zl1 I’m finna scoop 😂 all year is boost weather 👌🏽
Andrew in regards to the FI chiller does it matter what setting the cabin AC is on? Coldest setting? Fans high or lower matter?
Some cars run the AC compressor harder when the interior demands more. Others are just an on/off switch. So depends on the car.

This was a great video!
Where are the electronic that switch back and forth from heat exchanger to the interchiller?
Is this no heads/cam and on stock fuel system only?
Correct. Stock heads, stock camshaft, stock fuel system
Great content thanks for sharing. Very informative
This is great. What setup for road corse do think works best

There are ways. But removing the HX is the easiest

Need to have my AC reinstalled and add an interchiller! All in time...
Is this the stage 1 or stage 2 inter chiller system?
That's a lot of science for you, and math.... LOL Well done!
why would you not run the chiller 100% of the time? is it only used for drag raceing? road course? if not then why not?

How much fluid do you run and what is the mix ratio?
I have a 3.0 whipple F150. Looking for a high volume cat that isn’t going to explode. Do you have any information on your CSP catted headers?
Gesi or G-power (since they rebranded) 85230 is the part number. We run 1000+ rwhp on these guys without issue

How much is it to install an inter chiller on a 17 C7 Z06
Give the shop a call tomorrow and Alex can quote you. 610-628-1563
Is that the GESI 85200 core?
85230 is the number I believe. Funny, just noticed it says 1200 per bank on 2017+ cars (I assume they mean direct injection cars)
@@completestreetperformance so these keep the emissions O2 sensors happy even with aggressive tuning?
@@completestreetperformancedo you build the cats up in the shop or do you contract that out?

Can this be put on my Duramax?!?!
Anything with AC and an air to water intercooler setup.
...all the while wearing flip flops... LOL
What was the Easter 🥚?
I'm here for educational purposes. 😊
