I like the fact you do the work in the garage. I wish there is more guys like you doing it themselves learning the old school methods. keep it up my brother!💯💯👍🏽
Thanks for showing the routing. It makes it a lot more simple to understand. I was about to order an IC Chiller for my cat. You’re really going to enjoy it. I think I’m moving to the new gt500 platform, since it’s the last year for all the big supercharged V8’s. I’m FBO, m6 with rxt 1200 clutch, Barton SS, Alum DS, and on e85. I’m holding off on anymore mods for now. I figure if I don’t get one now, then they will only get more expensive. If I end up keeping the cat the chiller is definitely my next mod.
Right on my man no problem. Bro the system is so sick I have AC and the manifold temperature doesn’t go over 75°. When it’s 100° out!! You’ll be happy with the GT 500 platform that’s for sure! Congrats! But if you keep the hellcat I would definitely get this system installed you won’t regret it.!
Right on my brother. Man I am ready but my tuner does not want me to use the 10 inch yet until he gets the 9.45 all the way dialed in with the new cooling modifications.😑😑🙁 so the next Dino day will be just finishing of the old tune to get it perfect! Then I’ll have to return
Thanks for posting this .... I am considering this mod and will be looking to your "testing" of this product. Busted our transmission this week so first things first... Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much my brother I appreciate that. I hope you get that transmission all worked out. And yes I’m going to be doing wide open pulls to get the true temperature of the intake manifold before and after!! Video coming soon
@@outlawperformancegarage5211 Yeah brother we will sort it out.... Gives me time to gather information and the parts on this FI Chiller. Mine is a daily driver as well.... I was surprised at temp increase to the trunk tank was much different than under-hood tank. I was looking at keeping the AFCO HX but valving it out/in the loop in case of failure of the chiller and I believe FI sells the valves too. Thanks again!
@@ragtopdlxzl1 Yeah it loses 20° going from the truck back to the chiller. The fluid gets really cold under the hood as long as you have your reservoir wrapped. So far I’ve seen the coolant temperatures down to 50° on 100° day. That’s pretty good. I have the Asko heat exchanger but there’s nowhere for me to mount it when running the stage two chiller. If I didn’t have the second condenser and fan in the way I think I could have pulled it off. But at this point I don’t have room
@@outlawperformancegarage5211 lol...."don't have room"... does get tight under there... That was a very important comment for me to hear as we build to new heights. We didn't port the blower, smoothed the snout and spun it faster so we have some on the table from that although I would maybe go large if I can keep the tower brace for structural reasons. You are writing me a blueprint for a build and much appreciated.
Nice work man! I installed a Kiler Chiller on my supercharged Scat Pack back in 16. I could only get the coolant to 45 degress and no cabin AC during summer. I am debating on trying another Killer Chiller but really need to just go with FI. I just ordered there limited production 1'' blower spacers for the Redeye.
Thank you much appreciated. Man I have given Killer Chiller three different chances. Still suffering with no AC Killer Chiller could not handle the business. I should’ve just save my money and purchased forced induction inner chiller the first time. Man such a great system!! Got cold AC and cold air intake all times. Definitely get the inner Chiller. You won’t regret it brother
@@outlawperformancegarage5211 I just need to knock down my credit cards again then probably get one then. There just so much more but money better spent.
@@James-Orr I feel you I feel you. You don’t have to get the stage two all you really need is the stage one. And it’s half the price. I don’t even use my stage two part of the chiller ever. Because I’m constantly needing cabin AC. So if you want to save some money I will just go with inner chiller stage one. Which keeps my air temperatures at about 60° at all times IAT2
Bro how did you set up the fan flow direction? Fan air Flowing in engine direction or flowing to the front like pulling the air from condenser out to ambient?
there is absolutely no way the seven cans (5.25 POUNDS) of refrigerant goes in that car. I'd be surprised if it used more than 2 pounds ( 2.66 cans but you don't necessarily get 100% of the refrigerant out) so let's call it an even 3 cans.
Hi bro you almost a year since you installed the if- interchler , how is it now with you camaro still working good, and are still recommend the interchler ! And thank you for your time ur response

When are you getting the new hood? Congratulations on the inner chiller!
Thank you very much

Nice job! How many cans of Freon did you end up using?
I ended up using like seven cans of Freon

Inner chiller working good but the car has been down for a couple months. Had to upgrade the heads to handle the boost level.
Quick question, I'm doing install now. Did you go off the fill instructions that fi sends? Using the site glass and removing bubbles?
Yes, I followed the fill instructions to the t and also contacted them while I did it
Bro what were you result on wot pulls?
Do you have an install video for the seats?
Yes I do
What crank did you go with in your motor ?
I went with the callies ultra billet blue printed by Lme process.
Do you have the link to the gauge you was using to monitor the vent temperature
Yes I do I got it from Amazon
