  • I have battled IAT's for a little while which has caused my car to pull timing at the track. For one we feel the scaling on my IAT actual temps is off in the tune, but we wanted to conquer hot temps once and for all and I partnered with Forced Inductions interchillers to do so.
This product was sold to me at a discount in return for a review and install on the product. I will note I approached them with the offer and they agreed to it.

I had one of the very first chiller systems on my 2010 Supercharged SS back in the day. These systems were just coming out so there was a lot of trial and error. At least it was with my setup. The system did work 90% of the time but it was a plumber’s nightmare in terms of all the refrigeration lines and what not. There’s no way I’d ever do that again.

honestly i would have just went with an ice tank. with that big of a blower with the stock HX your IAT's were going to be sky high. people in the V community have gone away from the interchiller setup just because the kit isnt very reliable. running freeon through a supercharger just wasnt the best for CTS V's. there was a big hype for these (and they worked) but in the long run an ice tank or bigger HX worked just as good but with less hassle. nice install video none the less good luck bud

  • @bmxriderforlife1234

Dude longer term would you say worth it?
It fits a certain build goal of mine with a project. Started as a gto bur might end up something else. But all the cheater tricks I can stuff I to the thing Smokey yunick style.
The freon dump Into the blower was a yunick trick. But his was more primitive. This plus a reservoir swirl box type set up. Ability to switch out to regular heat exchangers. And potentially able to use a thermal battery concept.
Dual res. Thermostats. Heat exchangers. Essentially get one res down uber cold. Run that to engine hot fluids move elsewhere as new cold coolant is added slowly lowering the one res temp. Then just switch over to the cold res and recharge the other.
