- In this video we bring to you the possibility of cooking a complete vegetarian lunch using zero oil. There is no compromise on taste .A healthy diet can be good for your heart and your waistline too !
We have included many vegetables with high fibre for increased nutritive value We have used low fat milk for setting the curd for Raita and buttermilk

Dry Fruits - Walnuts, apricots, peanuts, cashewnuts, Almonds are fibre and oil rich. It is the oil in the nuts which helps to digest the fibre. The reason we eat coconut chutney with dosae and idli is the abundance of oil that helps to digest the lentils and rice in the dosae. The reason for adding ghee ka tadka is to help digest lentils and legume, increase absorption of nutrients , prevent bloating caused by the highly packed fibrous lentils. A reason for adding ghee to rice is to absorb the nutrients from the rice - Rice is choke full of nutrients filled with nutrients and adding ghee to hot rice before eating is to help the absorption. Also parboiled rice and the process of drying the rice after the boiling determines the quality of rice. it is fashionable to classify it as starch and carbohydrates . The traditional diet of the japanese with fish and rice was of good reason. So are the benefits of kanji , phanta baath … Thanks

Infact my mum does lots of zero oil food, as she always steamed all veggies for Thoran or kootu, and add the dry roasted powder and top up with fresh coconut

Simple way is to not add salt while cooking. Instead keep a pinch of salt on your plate and sprinkle this on each dish when you eat so you can control the quantity
