When young cats like you two discover the music that was popular in my High School years, an angel gets its wings!
I miss those days
Perfect comment!!
Truth!
Yes great music back in the late mid to late 70s and on into the 1980s I miss those times when we would wait for the next album from those great bands👈 😎🤘
i told them they need to check out the live show from halifax 1987....the guitar player really hits those high notes on this song....that's where i live...halifax...but i was too young to go....i did see Rik Emmett in 2013 at a local festival...he played some Triumph...he was great!
This band was instrumental in getting me through the teenage years. So many great hits with positive messages. Fight the Good Fight, Never Surrender! Rik Emmett is hands down the most under rated guitarists. Check out some of his solo work on RUclips
LOVE this song! The guitar player/singer Rik Emmett is so underrated. I’ve watched your videos for a while and I have to say I’m really proud of how open minded both of you are about music. Music is the great equalizer. Keep doing what you’re doing! Much love from California.
This is a single double neck guitar, played in the classical style in rock....Rik Emmett is one of the most under rated players in rock. Great reaction guys....thanks for all the vids you guys do
Very few actually played one
@@juliemanarin4127 I been playing 40 yrs. and they are heavy as hell and it takes 100's of hours to learn how to play one with the ease Rik Emmett did !!!!
Boy , the talent is amazing without autotune. Happy you guys are finding past music whatever the genre, that true pure talent from God exists.
I’m so glad you’ve reacted to Triumph. I saw them in concert in the 80’s and they were on 🔥 Still one of my favorite bands.
My very first concert as a teen was Triumph - Thunder 7 tour... ah, memories...
"Thunder Seven" tour in 1984 I think, Still my favorite concert.
I love Triumph! They have so many great songs. Never Surrender and Fight The Good Fight are great songs
Blinding Light Show from their very first album is spectacular.
I liked those ones too better than lay it on the line
"Hold On" and "Magic Power" are really good as well...!
Magic Power is my fave song of theirs !
Shes young now, she’s wild now, she wants to be free….
@@fredsystra7584 "She climbs into bed, pulls the covers over head and turns her little radio on"
She's got the magic power of music in her.!
@@fredsystra7584 music’s got the power… it’s your one chance to escape…..
@@davidarmitage289 🤘🏻
Thank you - love this song and band. Yet another of our national treasures in Canada.
Hi Twins, great song. They have another song , Magic Power is also excellent. Thank you, Joy ❤️🙏
Love it when you react to the classic rock tunes. This is a great Canadian trio that has a bunch of good stuff! A tune I'm awaiting your reaction on is Monkey Business by Skid Row. Keep on "getting it"!
To be a girl in love in the 80s!! Triumph my brothers. Yes, excellent call Monkey Business! That'll kick you in the face fo sho 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Love Skid Row!
I was at the concert! For real man. It was at the New Haven, Coliseum in New Haven, Connecticut. Unfortunately, it is no longer there. Magic Power one of their other songs was something I’ll never forget seeing in concert. I’m soo happy you’re checking out Triumph . You guys are excellent to watch. MAGIC POWER . Joy from Connecticut 🇺🇸 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Me too! I miss that venue so much! It was so crappy but so much fun. Same with the parking garage! Spent most of the 70’s there and early 80’s…
@@laurakali6522 it’s like who didn’t we see there. Lol very 😎 very cool
About what year... or decade was that? I love that sound. It would still be with me.
(I saw Tommy .. at Tanglewood in Lenox, MA in the 70's. 👍🏼)
@@Keyee1 Triumph played 1985 at the New Haven Coiiseum. The decade was mostly the 1980’s. The hair bands. Bon Jovi, Loverboy, Of course my favorite in the 1970 as well Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band.
@@joyceclark8476 I grew up in Orange so between the coliseum and the mall, we stayed busy having fun!
Another AMAZING Canadian band! Power trio! Enjoy! 🤘🏻🇨🇦
The energy that this band had with the crowd was unmatched in their heyday
CLASSIC ROCK TRIUMPH GOOD OL MUSIC 🎼🎶🎵, pure 80s music HAVE A BLESSED DAY TWIN BROTHERS STAY SAFE ❤🙏😘
Great song! 👍😊👏 A great Canadian band. 👍🇨🇦😊👏
These gentleman have a number of great songs...fight the good fight, Spellbound, Magic Power, Mid Summers nights Daydream....
Wow. I completely forgot about Triumph. Ha. Haven’t heard this in decades.
I have ALWAYS LOVED this song!!!
Thanks for introducing me to this song. I love Journey & have since highschool. You introduced me to Player & I downloaded it quick 😎
I adore you both! You make me smile and I love your reactions!
I love these guys too! ❤️
They are three guys from Toronto. Where i grew up. I saw them in concert in 1986 when i was 16. Rick Emmetts voice is amazing and pristine! He is in his 60s now still performing and sounding amazing!
My favourite group ever, and my favourite song. They have so many great songs. My second favourite is ' just a game '. Rik Emmett is a fantastic guitarist.
First time hearing this. Fantastic ! You guys are too. 💕
Oh I love this song.... brings back memories of high school
Magic Power is a must listen to….
One my all time classic rock bangers 💃💯💯💯
I like it, his 🎸 skills are 🔥.
They also had a banger called “Fight the good Fight.”
Follow Your Heart was another good one 👍
First here 😃! This is classic rock when I was a kid in the early 80s and I remember watching this video on MTV.
Oh, how I adore you both! Triumph was from my days. Amazing vocals, music, entertainment. You guys are so awesome, being so open to so many different genres and DECADES of music! Peace!
Always loved this tune. A real banger!
Your facial expressions & body language say lots. You guys are awesome!👍💖😉
I had never heard of this. It was so good! Great voice! Thanks for this.
Love you guys..love your enthusiasm to great music no matter the genre or age of the music! Keep doing what you do 💯
If I ever heard this song - I don't remember. A new one for me!
Lead singer has amazing hair and voice!
Always loved this song, Triumph rocked ❤
Love you reaction to a banger 🎶 🎵 🪕 🎼
Loved these guys back in the day. Have you tried some Rush, like “Tom sawyer”? Also, it’s been a long time since you’ve reacted to KISS. “I was made for loving you” or “shout it out loud”
Classic Canadian rock eh!🇨🇦 ❤ from Montreal
Classic '80s. Good choice!
Great song choice…great reaction guys!! Love you two..lovely young men. ♥️♥️
Another great Canadian band for you to give a listen to would be “Doug and
the Slugs” with “Day by Day”…great name eh?🇨🇦♥️
If u ever get a busload of people together to go to a concert with you can i come? Oh what fun!
I'm always surprised when I see a list of great drummers and Gil Moore of Triumph isn't on the list...I have seen lists of top 50 and 100 drummers and Moore isn't there. Time to recognize Gil Moore as a great drummer..Also Kelly Keagy of Night Ranger has got to be in the top 50. Come on man..Come on..Show some love to some of the other unknown great drummers..
I love how Gil Moore can sing 🎤 and drum 🥁 at the same time check out, US Festival 82/83? They blew away Van Halen and Motley Crüe who where both there but wasted or high. Lol.
I agree
You really need to listen to Rush. Tom Sawyer would be a great song to start with.
This is my favorite all time song since I was 14. Love the attitude. I was lucky enough to see Rik perform a few years ago with our local orchestra. He did a guitar greats set ala Clapton, Hendrix, Knoeffler, and a few Triumph tunes. He was a professor of music at a Canadian University. He's now a happy grandpa.
This is one of my favorite songs. Great tune👍😁
Monkey Business, yes! Skid Row and the mind bogglin' beauty and fellow Canadian, Sebastian Bach.
No freakin' way!! Never in a million years, did I think they twins, would react to my all time favorite band, from my teenhood! Thanks guys!! 💚💟💚💟💚
Oh I’m so happy you got to Triumph, one of my favorite 80’s bands! Rik’s voice is also phenomenal in Fight the Good Fight and World of Fantasy, especially the Live Aid version.
Another band with an amazing voice is Steelheart. The songs She’s Gone, I’ll Never Let You Go and We All Die Young are showstoppers (you call them bangers)!
Keep Triumph Alive!!!
Awesome group!! "Hold On", "Fight the Good Fight" and "Magic Power" all great songs!!
Ahhhhhh yes!!!! Loved your reaction, Tim & Fred!!! Try out Thin Lizzy, "Boys Are Back In Town", I promise, you'll love it, especially if you like Triumph!!! 👍🏻😎☮❤
@Carol R., they have already reacted to Thin Lizzy.
@@carollongmore3895 Thanks!!
Good to see young Bucks going back and hearing ALL the Amazing Bands from the Late 70's and most of the 80's !! Just a Special time for Musicians , Singer's , song writers just Fantastic !!!!!!
Well it's about time ! 😊😊 I've been waiting awhile for this one ! 😁😁 Thank You Thank You ! ..... Notice there's a thank you for each young man ! 😂😂
Triumph is one of the most underrated bands in music history. There are folks who love classic rock, but have never heard of this band. They’re fantastic!
First time hearing this song, too. Sounds kinda like a mix of Def Leppard and Scorpions.
I hadn't heard that before either. The lead singer can blow. That was great!!
Ohh dang!!!!! Y'all reaching back in time!!!! I remember this song from the 80s l think..... But they were started in like 1975❤️
LUV'D this song when it came out 78 - 79ish 🤔 banging hair ro k! Lovin the reactions! Keep doin it, you're makin me smile 😁👍
Love Triumph! This is probably my favorite song by them but they have so much good music. Very underrated Canadian band. I grew up listening to them, so this brings back good memories!
Yes finally some Canada. I worked next to Triumphs studio back in the 1980’s. We could hear them jamming Saturday mornings through the walls. Listen to Magic Power.
Appreciate your taking time from your precious lives, to showcase this incredible band.
It's been a long time since I last heard this one!!! More classic rock guys!!! 🎯💥
Triumph
Lay it on the line

Ric Emmett was a triple threat….gorgeous… a talented guitar player….and oh that voice!!! Triumph was an awesome band. Thanks for posting this song. Great memories!
Rik Emmett is one of the most talented, and underrated, musicians in R&R.
Thanks for reacting to this song guys. They're a criminally underrated band, and, I believe that you'll enjoy digging through their back catalogue. Cheers! 🤘👊👍😎
Another great choice gentlemen and fun, genuine reaction as always 💕
up there as one of my favorite groups. right on.
went to many of their shows... love these guys.. music with positive messages and that vocal.. goodness!
Triumph:
"I don't ask for much, the truth will do just fine!" Good lyric...but..
*Fight the Good Fight* and then *Magic Power* best songs..IMO.
Hey twins love your shirts 😍
Never heard this song before thanks for the video
I never heard this song before I gotta download it now
Had the pleasure of growing up in the late 70’s 80’s.
Times were so much simpler then.
I had a band in high school, went on to touring in the mid west. Played with some incredible talent in the Detroit area. Met musicians from Motown to hard rock Detroit. And this band was ALWAYS playing on our bus. The rock bands from this era still stand the test of time.
And to see y’all reacting to this at your age, brings me back to when I first heard it. Thanks for opening up and checking out this style.
Keep it up, keep finding gems in the rubble. Another great Canadian band, Our lady peace. Song Superman’s dead. Give it a try if you get a sec. Great work guys.
My dad's favorite song from when he was a teenager in the 70's. 🎸😁👍
You guys are delving into some serious music and musicians. No turning back
Lol love watching you two air drum to this song. I do the same walking down the street wearing my headphones, blasting this song.
My mom bought me and my twin bro a Datson F10 hatchback in highschool...1982... and this cassette was in the stereo!! Luv it!!!
The 80's had several great hair bands! Triumph is a good one!
Please listen to some other 80's hair bands. Rock bands always have a guitar solo! 🎸🎶👨🎤
You won't be disappointed! 😉
Triumph is a 70s band (for the record) one of my fav's right there!!
I fucking love triumph! I'm 29 and my dad would play triumph all the time when I was a kid! He also seem them live 3 times back in the day! I'm so jealous I'll never get to witness that live! Also gil more is a animal on the drums!
My suggestion is any 80's hair band! I think you would enjoy them! Peace.
Yay I think I requested this song months ago! It’s a favorite
You guys are the best! 😎💕
Mike Levine (the bass player for Triumph) actually was a contestant on the Christmas Eve edition of Wheel Of Fortune!!!!!
Good rock and roll song !..love it!
What?? Man I was bumping this ish in 1975!! The OG 3 man band shredded fools back then!!
Thanks for reacting to them! A great band from Canada but really just a great band period! They always deserved more recognition I feel like.
Double-neck guitar. Sick singing and rock band!
All 3 of the band are BANGING this out. Wow. I am a bit in awwww on how great this sounds.
Just catching up on your reviews, but I am glad that you provided more exposure of 80's classic rock to a younger audience, and that you also got into the groove of exposing yourself to it and appreciating it. Triumph made a number of excellent high-energy songs you may want to give a try in the future. You have an awesome show and I hope it keeps going, for you and for us.
way to go guys, great reaction to the music of my youth.. more of Triumph please.
Thanks for reminding me of this great song🇨🇦❤️
Loved this reaction guys, so glad you liked this song. Rock on brothers.
Goosebumps! Rik Emmett was my teenage crush! Thank you for watching and listening a bit from my hometown boys.
The era of the greatest music ever recorded. See that drum set? How can that be wrong?
That music sound like rock bands from the 80s. I like the music.
This song live is a whole other level!
I hope you guy's can go to a concert soon ? The foo fighters are touring ✌🎵💙🤩
