How to Draw a Braid Tutorial

- Here is a little basic braid tutorial. I used to use little tricks and hacks to try and draw braids but the only thing that really helped me with drawing braids was to actually understand them. I try and break down how I am thinking about braids as I draw them in this tutorial. Hopefully its helpful for some of you out there!
I know there have been some requests for other hair tutorials. They MIGHT be coming eventually, but since the amount of time I have to make tutorials is limited to about 1 a month, what tutorial is made next is decided completely by Patrons. Noticed that the outlines for the sides made me struggle more, and that instead a guideline of the CENTER where each strand gets cut off is more helpful. depends on the person just wanted to point that out, this makes more sense for me since my method of drawing hair is usually "no guidelines just envision what look your going for then draw it" since drawing shape guidelines make me struggle, and going with the flow for hair just makes more sense when i draw since that's what hair kinda does, just goes with the flow(of wind). This was very helpful for teaching me how to do braids so thank you!

Hello Chrissa ! Hope you're going well. I was wondering were you get that "dry toning tool (paper)" brush ? Or with what default brush in CSP I can replace it to have the same effect ? Thank you !
I think one of the things that frustrate me is that not many people talk about the underside of braids, which kinda looks flipped, but I always forget which direction they’re twisting 😂
