      I have more negative feelings towards brooke’s mother than I do Brooke. If there are any questions about brooke’s mental health, i don’t think anyone needs to look any further than her mother for the reasons. THAT woman is evil. You can look at someone and tell if they are a gentle, kind person and that woman is straight up evil. I bet she has made her husband and children’s lives HELL.

      I noted it because I found her .. hostile and unlikeable on a personal level. And I don’t say that because I care about the woman one way or another, but from a jury’s perspective I think it’s important to find a balance between being a very strong, assertive prosecutor and being intimidating to everyone she questions because her resting-bitch-face makes the room wonder who pissed in her Cheerios... and gawwwd help her poor husband (or wife) because -DAYUM- she’s got a serious black cloud of misery surrounding her personality 😳

    The local doctor who discovered she was pregnant gave her a ultrasound and the baby was alive and healthy and the right weight for 32 weeks, then she went a did something, maybe took some pills (like after pill) to kill the baby before it was born, I know she did something to rid herself of the baby weather it was before it was born or after it’s still murder and people are still trying to make excuses for her when normal people don’t bury babies in their backyard.... the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree that’s for sure, and I couldn’t help notice that it was her friends that were concerned about her weight and had to confront the mother about it before she took her to the doctor, I think the mother is very self obsessed and a skinny daughter is better than a fat one, that’s not a good image for her...

    Skylar told several times, that she continued taking birth control pills immediately after she found out that she was pregnant. I don’t believe her one bit that she did not know that this would harm the baby. After all she also admitted that she searched the internet on how to terminate a pregnancy / get rid of a baby. She caused the still birth hence killed her baby, not directly but indirectly.

    • @moosehead4497
      @moosehead4497 Год назад

      Not only that. She starved herself to the point of extreme hunger and restricted her calories and then exercised HEAVILY to the point of exhaustion for months. All with full knowledge of being pregnant. Personally, I don't think she should be criminally prosecuted, given that abortion is legal and millions of people literally kill their babies anyway... I feel terrible for the father mainly. But she definitely did kill her baby, she starved it and stressed it to the point it could not develop properly. And indeed taking the birth control contributes to that harm.

    • @moosehead4497
      @moosehead4497 Год назад

      Just consider this. She lost 40 pounds between feburary and april. She lost 40 pounds while a baby was growing and getting bigger inside her womb. It is really horrible to think about really. And she knew that while she was doing that. I still don't believe she should be prosceuted, and now certainly the public trial is punishment enough, I really blame the mother more than anything i'd want a divorce as the father. But seriously how could you do that all to look good for Prom. It is a horrible thing to have done. She knows if she acted differently that the baby would have lived. I believe she is a caring person, I'll never understand women... she will regret it for the rest of her life.

Trying to elude to the family wholesome girl who worried about her "caloric intake" only makes it more likely she obsessed about her weight and hated her body image while pregnant. No worries. It is a rather unintuitive thing, isn‘t it, that a defendant who pleads not guilty to murder would not testify in his own defense. But the truth is that the jury will not believe him. A perjury conviction carries less time than a murder conviction, and thus, the jury will thin, well, he is lying now to get an acquittal. So most defense lawyers advise their clients to keep silent, although many have stories to tell.

    The little pervert named that poor baby Annabelle after the movie character. You can bet on it. It makes me cringe everytime I hearbthe lawyer use that name.

      That was my first thought too. Morbid to name a baby after a horror baby doll character. And no one in court asked why she named it that.

    Then why did Skylar tell the police in her second interview that the baby was born BIG, not small BIG.

      How the hell does she know a big newborn versus a small one?

      Have you had a baby? A small baby would seem big when you're giving birth, and this was her first experience.
