My favorite excuse is when they say "we're from out of town" or we're not from here when they're parked right in front of the 'No Parking' sign or 'Parking for Employees Only sign. Do those signs mean something else in other towns? They're looking for free parking that ends up costing them ten times what a legal spot would have cost. When something seems too good to be true, it usually comes back to bite you in the ass.

There are a ton of spots. Doesn't matter it's someone else's property sorry. Just like random people can't park on your property same respect. Look around for signs that say YOU CAN PARK THERE. That way you are safe. Or ask the lady that always gives ppl permission 😂
Right?! I can't tell you how many times I've been disappointed because a sign says I can't park in a particular place. It's inconvenient to me at the moment ... but so far I've never been towed. Signs are there for a reason.
You patience with people on the phone never ceases to amaze me. My 3 boys and I have heard the impound address so often it's our running joke. When we are going somewhere I ask them where if they know the address and they all say "221 Newman road!" One of the boys google mapped it. It's only 16 hours away 1585kms 😀

I'm amazed at the ease in which folks don't tell the truth nowadays. I'm also equally amazed that folks leave parked cars unlocked. No wonder we pay the insurance rates we do these days. It was good the folks in the video didn't give you two a hard time though. Drivers need to keep speed down and phones down when drivng Glades Road (or craft circle as my wife likes to call it). These past few years I have seen and experienced drivers going way too fast on the curvy road and sorry to say most are locals. Keep 'em coming gang. "We appreciate ya!"

Good job there guys I'll have to say Jeff I have been in Gatlinburg and pigeon forge area most of my life over the years there have been times when there wasn't enough room for a flea to park it can be very bad at times but for the most part I think people can find a place to park
Ahhhh, another Glades Road ditch driver… It’s one of those roads that for some reason, drivers don’t take seriously. Plus it’s getting more and more traffic, as folks try to skirt the traffic on the main roads here in Gatlinburg. 25mph is the safest speed on this windey road. I see folks with their cell phone texting etc. and just one moment of distraction and you’re gonna take a deep dive off the embankments. I think this is the third or forth one J&K have pulled out in the last year or less on Glades. What’s worse is all the local hotels and cabin companies are directing folks off the main roads onto secondary roads to avoid traffic. After Powdermill and Boogertown, Glades feels like a highway. Folks, if you’re coming to G-burg… PAY ATTENTION… of course, you can always keep Jeff and Kristen on speed dial….

I have never needed a vehicle towed from an appointment complex, but I know it isn't my responsibility to make that call to a company to remove the vehicle. The complexes that I lived in there was always phone numbers for security , maintenance staff after hours, and the after hours management number for those kind of issues. I am going into the NO PARKING sign business in Pigeon Forge and the 'Burg. I will make individual signs and place them in every single No Parking spot in Pigeon Forge and The 'Burg, sorry to say I still don't think that would stop some folks. Glad the folks in the winch out is 🙂 Looked like a scary spot to be in. Curious to know how it ended up down there. Sounded the the folks from Atlanta, saw an empty spot and took advantage of it. Just because there is a chain over the driveway doesn't mean you can't park there, am I right on that? I love it when people get towed for illegal parking, and they think ignorance of the area can get them a discount or something. "I'm not from the area, I didn't know".
