I genuinely busted out laughing when you told him it had to be cash and he replied, "We're from Pennsylvania." Don't people in Pennsylvania use cash? It's sad how many grown adults have to ask, how am I going to get money and how can I get from where I'm at to where my car has been towed to? That's a skill most teenagers can figure out.
Most people in the US don't use cash. So, probably not really. The proper question would be "where can I withdraw cash", but you probably realize that it's not actually a question; it's a plea to reduce the price.
Depends on your bank, your account status, your history with that bank/credit-prior history with financial institutions, if you have specific usages, etc. Some are at $7-800.00, some at &1,000.00 cash withdrawal limit per day.
My family rarely uses cash, we do track and monitor credit cards usag etc. But all of us were taught by parents to have an “emergency stash” just in case. You still have circumstances that cash is the only recourse. EA has been burned by CC/Debit payments being rescinded etc I don’t blame them. I think the tow fee is &3XX.XX, between the two of them, should have had that covered. I’ve been on a road trip that had an unexpected expense, had to pay cash just a few years ago.

Keep in mind this was a Sunday, a bank was not option and not everyone carries a debit or atm card. Plus in today's society a lot of places don't even want cash so they can charge extra when you use a credit card.

I have lived around the Gatlinburg Area. Parking is crazy and people park wherever. Most of the time, they don't call for a tow unless it has sat for more than a Day OR it is impeding they ability for patrons or staff to navigate the area. This was a VERY justified call. It is on the walking path of other Handicap-Parking Patrons. A Wheelchair, or someone walking assisted, would not be able to navigate around that car. Great Job! 😎👍

I got my CDL when I was 21 and my trainer would give me endless crap over parking even slightly crooked in a Kenworth T600 with a 53' reefer. Every time I park any vehicle in the following twenty-eight years I turn around and look at it. If it's not right I get back in and fix it. One benefit, I rarely forget where I'm parked, because I take a moment to study the spot.
After really enjoying this channel, a friend of mine lost a wheel in front of my parents house, she was fine, tow driver, nice as pie showed up. The operator needed an extra jack to get the rim back on, which I was happy to provide and help. Keep up the great work

I don't really know because I spent the night at the hospital with a little emergency. I'm fine now, and at home, on some antibiotics, etc. I've got a lot of catching up to do now! May God continue to bless you and yours always.
For the folks who parked on the sidewalk, zebra stripes, not quite in the handicap spot, their excuse was there was a truck next to them they had to pull out and he moved over to let the people pull out. OK, then, why didn’t you wait till the people pulled out and you could pull into the handicap spot like a normal human being? Guess you didn’t have five minutes to spare to wait until the other people pulled away and then you could’ve straightened your car out. Cause you come from Pennsylvania does it mean you can park anywhere you want in Tennessee. I find it very ironic that people who have the legal use of a handicap spot Would park so disrespectfully, considering the fact that people walking on the sidewalk would have to avoid their car. What if somebody in wheelchair needed to pass by in order to get into the facility? Sometimes I think that when people are on vacation, they packed their luggage but they leave their brains home.
Even if there was another vehicle parked on part of their spot, let the people out and go find a different spot to park. Parking on a sidewalk is crazy. Looks like they just pulled in and left the car. Totally on them. Great video!

It is a strange rule.🤣
No you’re suppose to, how else are you going to support local tow businesses? 😂
And apparently they paint random lines on the ground and expect you to park in between them too - ludicrous!
Don’t forget your Indy cash because who knows how to get money in Tennessee!
It’s interesting how many times you all hear people say “where am I suppose to get $300?? I don’t have $300!!” Yet they always come up with it to get the car back. God bless y’all for keeping your composure because every time it pops into my head.. “if you don’t have $300 then don’t park illegally!”
There is this new invention called ATM's they work even when the bank is shut I'm amazed most of Jeff's illegal parks haven't heard of them 😂😂
$300 is ridiculous. It's a city-sponsored grift. And yes, I visit Gatlinburg often and no, I've never been towed or parked illegally.
@@tonyfair487 come on, for one I think these businesses are regulated state or county wide on what they can charge. Secondly think of all the overheads a business like this has, wages, heath insurance, vehicle insurance, liability, gas, equipment and then he probably has to have a lawyer on retainer and a CPA.
I also find it funny “I don’t have $300” but your on vacation how do you have money for that?!
@@tonyfair487 Well parking in the garages “pay to park as Jeff always says” is cheaper than the legal fines for ILLEGALLY PARKING. Simple!

Maybe if those two did more 30 minute walks he wouldn't have had to have that transplant. They were both BIG people.
Why not get an Uber, taxi…walked that and in the dark! Now that’s cheap!
You killed my husband!!!
And the heart transplant comment had not thing to do with the situation they got themselves. It was a ploy for sympathy from the wife. I would be so ashamed if I had been towed for what they were towed for. They simply thought that they could get away with it, and didn't.
There's a free trolley that stops about a block and a half away. I've used that trolley it's the best way to get around once the car is parked somewhere (legally).

What are the ATM withdrawal limits?
Never heard of an ATM? Amazing! Even in backward Ohio we have those!
