While my AirFit N30 QuietAir is very quiet, it does get noisy from residual water left in the diffuser after washing it. Blowing the water out makes it quiet again. With hard water, drying the diffuser clocks it up after a while. To be clear: this ist still the best mask I ever had.
Sleep well.. that should be your sign off. Great to see a test that is often overlooked when I first started looking masks. Great job as usual. Thank you.
I’m fairly new to CPAP (6 months) and started with an N30. Pretty good, but I know the strong air stream sometimes hit my husband. After 4 months I decided to try the N30 cradle. A little weird to get used to after having used a mask that goes OVER the nose. But after a few nights I was very happy and it’s much better for my partner as well…no blowing on him and usually whisper quiet.
I just got 2 days ago the N30i , switched from Lowenstein Cara Nasal ( which was quite silent but air was blowing in my eyes ) , and this N30i is very loud, there is whistling when I inhale and exhale like I never heard before, and they were supposed to be silent...
@@thecpapstore Inside the cradle when I inhale and exhale, its a whistling combined with air flow sounds, hard to describe, all I know its loud, much louder than a Lowenstein Cara mask which is not supposed to be silent

Thankyou. Very helpful. Even better if you were to do the full face (incl hybrids) as well at some later stage.
Will work on that next!

@@thecpapstore Great work. And I’ll keep an eye out should you do the same full full face masks. Many thanks.

Hollow frame masks are always the loudest for the user. But not sure about the whistling, where is it coming from?

Yep, you can hear yourself breath in stereo. I absolutely hated that mask. Got the P10 mask now and its so much better!
