Steve, cues that can help with the SLDL that I think you would like! 1. Brace the core 2. Drive the heel back 3. Shoulder pinned back (one holding the weight) 4. Straight line from head to heel
Such a great video. As a smaller guy with smaller legs I have been trying to focus more on leg days and looking a ways to improve. These movements come at the right time. Keep it up Steve Cook. Thanks for sharing!
You know what's crazy? I just got done working with NASM master trainers, NASM certified and ACSM trainers this summer. At a high school with a lot of corrective, body alignment and muscle imbalances, and then here you go uploading something that's along the same lines 💪🏽
Great vids man, love the new content. It's great to see a channel that is real and diverse. After training for 7 years I watch these to try and gain new knowledge and just for entertainment. It gets a little annoying when people keep making the same, old, "how to build big arms" videos.
Wow ! That was an awesome video. I've been following you for some time and love what your doing. I'm prepping for surgery on my ankle early sept. ! After last years surgery on my left ankle, I've followed most of your routines and I can honestly say I've never been stronger. Today's video has shown me a ton of stuff to work on thank you !
One of the best trainer vids. Should do a super detailed basics for beginner video. How does a fat, immobile guy get started and what exercises to start with??
Hanks for the workout out video. Did this whole routine and it killed my legs. Def tested my balance and gave a me a new goal to work on thanks fellas!👌🏻
Steve has the most aesthetic legs among the fitness models, his legs make him look stable in charge and bigger, but this is due to genetics, his calves shape is awesome
I got much respect to Steve But, that man Jacob Hutton is worth listening to. He's knowledge and seems humbled by his own strength. I can tell he takes strength knowledge very seriously and I respect that. Steve is damn good too, both of these men I salute. Keep up the hard work guys, that gym will be fun. Good luck to both of you. Been watching Steve for 3 years and I am glad this Jacob Hutton guy is partnering up. Again, good luck to you both. Stay strong.
Pls make more of them videos... This video is amazing 😄 show some of these exercises for chest back arms.... But this is amazing, iam going to make some fresh gainz tho
Foxtrot well I can't speak for other women but my bottom half is a lot more soft than my upper body. I want a firm, round butt not a pancake ass. Funny enough though my favorite day is back and bi's cause of the pump and I build quickly.
Andrea Martinez Okay to be fair, these dudes are on gear and Steve specifically trains to appear aesthetic. They also have really good genetics. Most guys could never have legs like theirs just because of genetics.
Loving the content Steve! It's great to see you constantly trying things outside of the box! Love all the typical bro's saying it's not effective or is basically crossfit lol haters gonna hate.
Steve you doing day passes for the gym? Would be cool to be able to come to the gym if I was there for a day. Texas is a long commute for a membership haha
Tell me about it Steve. Fractured collar bone 4 weeks ago. 2 years solid of gym before my accident. Upper body on right side is wasted. Long road ahead. Don't injure yourself. so into mobility now if I wasn't already. Legs are getting a hiding with exercises I can do. Sitting on the spin bike while I was typing this. Not loosing all my gains.
Great video, really informative and easy to follow guys! Just a quick query; when you do the pistol squats with dumbells at 14:27 are you bringing the weights in front of your body purely for balance purposes or for another reason? Keep up the great content, thumbs up (Y)
really glad that the message these days is about motility - its something I've always been good with, I may not be the strongest but my flexability and motility are pretty damn good, i wondered though if you had heard about ido portal - he's big into movement and motility, might be some interesting stuff you can pick up if you've not heard of him
Great ones. Keep the good stuff up Steve!
This is a good episode. I think Jake should have a youtube channel. I would defo subscribe!
100%

One of the best trainer vids. Should do a super detailed basics for beginner video. How does a fat, immobile guy get started and what exercises to start with??
One of the best damn videos on legs, great work!!

Thanks for the single leg RDL...I've always found it difficult...I'll try it today at the gym
Jake is a freaking beast! baby eating. dumbbell destroyer. gym god. And Steve is his right hand.
Great movement there.
Gonna try these soon.

That good feeling when you already have these in your routine 🤗 Great content, Steve!
Keep doing videos like this!
Great video - shows that mobility is key and requires that you can demonstrate strength throughout the entire range of motion
Thank you steve for this video we need more video likes this
Steve has the most aesthetic legs among the fitness models, his legs make him look stable in charge and bigger, but this is due to genetics, his calves shape is awesome
I got much respect to Steve

Hello from France
Great episode!
I love the old guy in the background that keeps walking by and just watching :) He's like, "I remember when I could do that." lol
Love that these men have actual size to their legs. #nochickenshere
I have good thighs but my damn calves... ugh, damn dad
Andrea Martinez I have size to something between my legs
fat leg
Foxtrot well I can't speak for other women but my bottom half is a lot more soft than my upper body. I want a firm, round butt not a pancake ass. Funny enough though my favorite day is back and bi's cause of the pump and I build quickly.
Andrea Martinez Okay to be fair, these dudes are on gear and Steve specifically trains to appear aesthetic. They also have really good genetics. Most guys could never have legs like theirs just because of genetics.
Jake has inspired me. Gonna start going heavier on single leg movements.
You could make tons of $$ if you do day passes.
Austin Strout He said $15
Austin Strout $15 is a lot for a day pass. It should be $10 or less
Well, paying $15 to workout in Steve Cook's gym and meet him is not really expensive.
how sure are you that youll meet him and remember he said hes posting a sign no talking or taking pics of steve while working out... lol
Really good tips. I like it.
Goddamn. Will def try these! You both look strong af
Bonus, thanks guys!👊
a hip mobility guide/exercise video would be awesome.
Steve your hair is on point right meow!
Thanks for your advice Steve and Jake you can are awesome
just saying lost frequencies "are you with me" in the background is a great song
Great tips 👍. Is there any good exercises to do to prevent shoulder injuries?
Music playing is awesome😻
So adorable with your matching shoes.
Thak you! Watched all till end worth it....
Single legged RDLs are killer! I should definitely work on my pistol squats though
Steve I just bought my Olympia ticket! Better see you there!
Tell me about it Steve. Fractured collar bone 4 weeks ago. 2 years solid of gym before my accident. Upper body on right side is wasted. Long road ahead. fractured a vertebrae in my neck in April, same training as you and haven't been able to do anything since. get well soon bud
The music at that gym is fire!
I'M LOVING THE LIVE COMMENTARY FROM JAKE. KEEP DOING THAT!
Also, Steve, any reason for the hard flooring in the gym vs. putting rubber mats over it?
not necessarily lobbying for mats but it might also help help tone down the echo in the building too
Could you do a segment on exercises to prevent deltoid injuries
Great video, really informative and easy to follow guys!
Just a quick query; when you do the pistol squats with dumbells at 14:27 are you bringing the weights in front of your body purely for balance purposes or for another reason?
Keep up the great content, thumbs up (Y)
Steve Cook, absolute legend 👌
Excellent video again.
Great video! I twist quite a bit accidentally when I try single leg RDLs I guess I'm not loading my hips properly! Thanks for the tips!
what shoes are you wearing???
Jake has such great technique so I guess knee surgeries are just unpreventable if you want to lift heavy lol
AestheticsisLife i think he will fuck up his knees one day
AestheticsisLife he also played college football
Hey Steve! Will you be offering any military memberships? Or military day passes? I'd love to hit your gym up when it's open! Keep it up!
You inspire me @steve
Love you😊😊😊
really glad that the message these days is about motility - its something I've always been good with, I may not be the strongest but my flexability and motility are pretty damn good, i wondered though if you had heard about ido portal - he's big into movement and motility, might be some interesting stuff you can pick up if you've not heard of him
that lateral lunge looks like an awesome exercise! need to try those
do one of these for chest. If you have any exercises for them
Where'd you get those shorts??? They're pretty badass
Love this video!!!!😊😊
Wow... great additions to a leg work out. Thanks. I've just recently reached back squats with 2x 45lb plates on each side 😂
shout out to steve and jake for not editing out their imperfect reps. to many vlogers try to look perfect
