The ability to spread your damage around is always gonna be good
Man, Valkyr would LOVE to be able to spread her damage around… like, I’m glad Hydroid is getting the Rework, god knows he needed it, but Damn does Valkitty feel like she needs some love… she’s great for bosses or small hordes, but doesn’t compare to the room sized shenanigans others can cause…
@w.mccartney431 not every frame needs to be a nuker. valkyr is fine as she is besides a few touchups to her 3 ability
@@pizzariotin your right, not all of them need to be a nuker… but valkyr overall is just not in the greatest spot, given she gets outshined as well. Doesn’t help exalted weapons over all sorta suck, and her exalted weapon is the only damage she got…

@@pizzariotin thing is, they should just straight up be as good as melee, which is easily one of the most broken options in the game… but you can’t put stuff like Blood Rush, or CO, or other stuff like that on the melee Exalts, so they just fall behind their normal counterparts.

Kullervo is easily my favorite frame. He only really struggles where there aren't enough things to stab.

Pablo isnt usually the nerf guy unless its not that bad of a nerf. Scott used to make stuff unusable after a nerf. He's the reason ember got that meter in the 1st place, but it was only a straight up nerf at 1st. Still feels like one IMO. Scott also wanted to remove simulacrum and loot vacuum

His shotgun is also nice and benefits a ton from shared curse.

@@cdgonepotatoes4219 his shotgun is statistically bad and because of that I was not satisfied until I one tapped a steel path level 185 corrupt heavy gunner without armor strip. It took some dumbass buildcrafting but it worked.

Well... that ability has it's use to take out those high health elites and monsters. And for everything else there is melee... Wait that applies to Warframe as well.
i used think, back when i played on pc, in battle 2142, that shotguns were useless, but a teammate proved me wrong
It's pretty fun, there's also grouping abilities plus gas snipers can do some funny stuff too

While we're on the topic of Kullervo: The tenet Livia has a special passive wherein it retains its' combo counter, which stops decaying while unequipped. So you can build up combo with his 4 (the damage from the daggers adds to your combo counter!) and hold on to 12x combos for as long as you want, to unload on any poor, unsuspecting boss

Yea I've genuinely got no clue, all I know for sure is it's looks like a male frame, one of the slimmer ones, not Ash loki or limbo tho. Maybe it's Lavos but I doubt that. honestly the eye really makes me think it's a Mesa draxx skin

It is the natural state of the Tenno to rebel against the authority's status quo, so us coming up with this bs is 100% lore accurate.
Snipers are great for lich/sister hunting, eidolons, any and all assassinations they are a GREAT tool for open world things and since mose damage is done with secondaries and melees these days you dont really need your primary for massive aoe stuff

Snipers do have a combo counter, makes sense to me
Kommorex was buffed via the Semi Rifle Cannonade mod. Not only does it ignore the fire rate penalty from Critical Delay, but it also ignores the penalty on zoom. You can replace your fire rate mod with SRC and not only gain way more fire rate, but also a bunch of base damage.

Good game always gives you some new ways to play a game, which is cool.
Kullervo released close to the time I was done playing Borderlands 3, after levelling every character to max level, and equipping them with best gear. And Amara's Ties that Bind immediately came to mind. Playstyle is easy: bind a group of enemies, max single-target DPS into one of them, repeat.
So using Sniper Rifles as alternative to heavy attack focused melee on Kullervo was a natural conclusion. And Perigale certainly slaps for that.

The biggest problem with sniper rifles/weapons in Warframe is speed. The game relies on high speed and mob attacks. Even the fastest twitch fire players can't put out the ROF required to get through. This is one reason melee is just so damned popular.

Survival is not the only mission type in the game, ppl.
In Disruption, and other single target missions, snipers are great
In dissruption wave clear is still very important and the tenet plinx and like 10 otherweapons do the job of snipers in that mode better the other singel target missions are all kind of a joke and you only do them for fissures where aoe is again more important
I'm so happy he's the first frame I hard farmed for, 55 days later at MR 16, he's still my main for everything. No thoughts, head empty, Overguard, Rauta+Xoris.
And this is why I grinded him from the very first minute I got into Warframe. Because I want my bonking sticks :)

I have a Victus Prime on my Zephyr modded for gas damage.
The gas does 50% modded damage+fraction damage+additional modifiers(like headshots, crit damage from orange/red crits), so the dot tick one or two shots practically everything below steelpath, and it isnt till Archon levels that I need the armor pierce of Radiation on grineer(corpus still gets gas).
Its fun. One time did an hour+ Arbitration where my team holed up in the center of the grineer tile that has the two ships in it, and I floated above sniping all the arbitration drones and ancient infested and left the rest for my team to mop up unimpeaded.
Ive paired this do many time with kuva nukor when i first got it, its a lot of fun outside of jus using it for melee builds. Granted melee builds with it are still a lot of fun
This pretty much reminds me of the "Explosive Headshots" perk from Team Fortress 2 Mann vs Machine gamemode, this brings me so much nostalgia.

Am I weird? Ive been using Rubico Prime for years now and loving every moment of it, it just feels so good to use... Like if i want kills i just use melee, rubico is all about ✨ style ✨
While i've not seen Brozime do this once, this is potentially why he was keen to have the Vectis and Kullervo. Makes sense.
Now imagine doing that with the auto lock pistols you can get from parvos sisters.
Funny thing I completely built up my Reaper Prime 4 years ago. despite not having the latest greatest power creep builds on everything it is still one of my highest damage dealing weapons able to take on lvl 100 enemies easily.

i hit level cap multiple times with perigale as demolyst nuker without primer on the kuva fortress. snipers are more capable than many think
DE has always been extremely good for making frames excel in the opposite direction they were created foir.
