That's the one you would click on if you are looking for just the magnetic transducer mount :)
Do the glue on mounts effect the foldability of the boat
No Gerard, not really; not to the point that this would be impactful or even noticeable to the folding up process. The actual glue-on base itself is quite malleable, and especially so if they are warm.
Can that battery be recharge by a 6hp motor?
They are AGM Gerard. Lithium batteries are hard to ship; so we designed around the AGM packs as they are not considered dangerous goods by customs agencies around the world. Lithium is also dangerous in terms of if it interacts with water; however they do provide two or three major advantages - they're light and have like a 2:1 ratio vs. AGM packs when it comes to capacity and size of the battery. Lastly, their voltage does not tend to drop until near the end of capacity.
I guess it could be if you had some kind of alternator type of set-up. Not sure exactly how that might be devised however.
Not sure how super magnets would probably interfere with sounder image. Great vid and options though.
Hello Peter thank you. RE: the magnets, they aren't even in the same frequency range whatsoever, so no, the transducer operation is not affected whatsoever by the magnetic mount :).
Is the battery Lithium or AMG?
AGM Gerard.
