Both of my children have this problem pretty badly, I myself don’t at all. We do everything but the steroids. I didn’t know that was an option. Something to keep in mind of it gets outta control. My sons is the worst . Tends to be better in the summer winter is horrible for him . Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience.
@@inshort5341 no actually i haven’t. My son would never do it . He is pretty close to being on an all meat diet. My daughter would though. My son is 20 my daughter is 15 . This is an issue i have. I wear my hair in a bun every single day. I haven't had my hair down in over a year. I'm so embarrassed it's so bad. When I brush my hair I have to sweep up the dandruff from the floor it makes huge piles I can't believe my eyes when I see it. I'm too embaressed to go to the doctor. I'm so glad I came across this video
You poor thing. Try the Nizoral shampoo… my Dr. told me to leave it on for at least 10 minutes before rinsing it out. Otherwise it doesn’t work as well. Good luck, I hope it works for you ❤
I used to have a similar problem when i was in high school. It was huge amounts and so embarassing. People would point it out and laugh at me for it. The only thing I've found that helps me luckily is simply Head and Shoulders shampoo. For me i wash my hair twice each time really focusing on working it into my scalp. I dont wash my hair every day otherwise i get dry skin on my scalp instead which is also embarassing and itchy. I hope you find a way to manage the problem you're having I know how much it can impact your quality of life. Good luck!
As someone who works in a hospital inc derma, please please go see a professional..This isnt embarressing and they exist to help, please believe me when I tell you, no doctor is going to have seen this for the first time...If you need help,go seek it ,you deserve it .
The ketoconazole shampoo is called Nizoral. It worked great for me, my Dr. told me to leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing off. I had the 2% prescription version.
Yeah that works for the underlying issue. If you don’t take care of the improper hormonal balance, Is not going away. The yeast that causes dandruff everyone has it. It’s part of you and it will never go away.
@@redpilled9595it’s not carbs it’s the refined carbs like rice and sweets etc and sugar however carbs from vegetables are good due to no sugar which the fungus thrives off of
That looks like what my son had as a child on his scalp and it was diagnosed as Tinea aka ringworm which is contagious of the scalp not dermatitis, the dermatologist prescribed him some medication to take by mouth to get rid of it and nizoral shampoo
I feel so bad for the person in the video. I have this condition but nowhere near as bad as this. I rotate between the Pyrithione Zine Selsun Blue and Selenium Sulfide Selsun Blue and it works pretty well. Whenever one stops working I switch for a few days and go back to the other. There are other options out there but you have to find the one that works for you.
Totally agree with your strategy of switching up the shampoo. You might also want to consider ketoconazole 2 percent shampoo. It’s prescription strength that you’ll need to get from a doctor. If you ever want to get it we offer prescriptions through our telehealth site DermOnDemand.com
Thanks man ive been so insecure about this i taught i was using to hardh of shampoo or something so injust use conditioner from dr sasquash !! Im gona have to try on eof these because its affecting my beard big time too !!
Hello everyone I suffer from the same 😢. I’ve been using selsun blue shampoo for like 3 years now and is a more controlled than before. I do need to wash my hair 2-3 times a week cuz is long otherwise everyday!. Hope this help.
It's not technically an autoimmune disorder but It's the bodies immune system over reacting to normal yeast on the scalp that causes dandruff that everyone has. It's a form of Eczema. Staying well hydrated and using Kenozole helps.
i had pretty mild dandruff for a few years until i started to use selsun blue a while ago and now i don't have it anymore. i used to comb out my dandruff and it kinda upsets me that i can't anymore because it was super satisfying. which i know is weird but still.
I think i have a solution for dandruff but im not sure if that will work , the solution is by shaving off the head with razor blade ofcorse after applying shaving cream , because when you shave your head with blade , the blade not only removes the hair it also scrub of part if the skin with the stuck dandruff and the head skin will be fresh , and you need to keep shaving your head every 3 days with blade at least 5 times the head will now be like your forehead especially if the sun is able to reach your head and makes it the same skin color then you can regrow your hair again , ofcorse im not sure if thats the solution im only given my opinion
Dont use shampoo or modern medicine, in india its have Ayurvedic oil, its only under 2 dollor, for 200 ml , so its last 3 month usage, but only one month apply by sd recover, before i faced sd in head beard ear, bow clear, i don't know its available in your country, its made Danthapala leaves, also known as Wrightia tinctoria,

Is this due to poor diet or hygiene?

It has nothing to do with hygiene. My doctor told me that. But diet can also help
Jus hit the beach for a few days the water will cleanse that
Start keto diet. Low carb no sugar
