So today, I'm going to give you ideas for a heart-healthy diet and 10 amazing foods to fight heart attacks and high blood pressure!

I think what would help me the most is to find some kind of recipe or cookbook that's all about heart healthy meals that way I can always have a meal plan
Right on time! I will get my heart health/blood pressure under control!
UPDATE: my blood pressure has significantly improved. I’ve been eating a low sodium and low sugar diet, exercising, but the biggest thing is reducing STRESS. My average reading in the morning is 115/80 in the evenings 125-130/82-93* so I’m trying get my evening reading stable because sometimes my bottom number reads higher. You all can do it!

Thank you just got diagnosed and released from hospital! I have a fib and pneumonia, and they gave me some paperwork, but your wonderful explanation of things more comfortable, and this frightning time for me!
Hope you get better my husband has heart diese running thru the men in his family his dad died at 50 and his brother at 45 from it my husband is 35 just had a heart attack and 4 bypasses done, praying better diet and staying on his medication will allow many more years with us

I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol and I find when exceed just one cup of coffee ☕ my blood pressure goes thru the roof and I get short of breath and dizzy 😵. I would suggest people with high blood pressure to eliminate caffeine from their diet!!

My Mom is in the hospital right now with heart failure. The way they talk it is not a serious as it could be, but we plan on eating better to help her out.
My dad went in the hospital May 1, 2024 in heart failure. God allowed my dad to come home day after my bday, May 9, 2024, my folks will be celebrating 59 years anniversary May 28, 2024. Prayers for your mom. I'm on here trying to find how to fix my folks a nice anniversary dinner that's safe, too. God bless.

My fr has been smoking for 40 yrs but now by grace of God he wants to stop it but he is worrying of the negative consequences of quick stop. Thank you so much for this information. I just switched from a plant based diet with all kinds of processed vegan junk food to a whole food plant based salt, oil, and sugar free lifestyle. It's been a couple of days and still finding the random urge to go buy vegan processed items. I'm doing this very strict for health reasons. Not sure what they put in proceed foods but it seems to very addictive, at least for me. Thanks again

Dr thanks for all your recommendations. My question is this ..in May 2021 my A1c was 8.4 meaning I was Type 2 diabetic. Immediately I started intermittent fasting and eating a low carb diet. I had no idea that many of my foods were high carb. 12 months later I had lost 50lbs and my A1c was 6.2 and its still falling. Now I'm trying to bring my blood pressure down, which is normally around 140/85 with meds. I saw your videos today about foods to avoid if you have high blood pressure. But in today's video where you listed good foods to eat with high bloodpressure you mentioned many I thought were bad, because of carb content like oranges, grains, oatmeal etc. So what's your advice?

Hi doc I eat all these healthy foods fruits and vegetables and take fiber supplements! I live in Florida as well but my BP is still high! I am very dehydrated though. My mouth is always dry and lips feel parch, even though I drink enough water like 8 to 10 bottles a day! I eat all the fatty fish too! What else can I do to get my BP stablized?
