Sweetwater's Nick Bowcott is joined by Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper) to learn some tips and tricks, and to share them with you! After the video, check out the tab for this guitar lesson here: www.sweetwater.com/insync/nit...
I saw her with Alice Cooper. Pure talent, energy, just a beast on that guitar. She's young too. She's gonna have a long, great career!
Love Nita! She's such a nice representative of the metal community and guitar community in particular, and I love how she shares her techniques. Rock on Nita!
I like his interviews. It is cool to see an interviewer laugh and make it seem more like a conversation.
Nita is a fantastic guitarist and very personable and Nick is so humble and funny.
😎🤘
The first time I heard your solo I was blown away and had to rewind to see just what you had played because it looked and sounded so cool. Sonically, it is stellar. I love dive bombs too. I get very good chills watching you or listening to you play your solo. Thank you for being such an awesome inspiration.
"very good chills"...? Lol
The title should be "What if Yngwie Malmsteen Played for AC/DC?"
More like..."What if Angus played a superstrat..??"
→ No offense to Nita · or Angus, for that matter - but, neither of them get anywhere near that epic majesty of Yngwie!
Sounds really humble. Fair play to her. Shes living the dream. Not my kind of playing but she is amazing at what she does
Talent + Grace = Nita Strauss
Will + Grace = Sitcom
She seems like a great person. Very down to earth
Yeah! She is good about answering questions on her social media pages. Its like she cares about all her fans.
Thank you for being gracious enough to teach us some of your technique your great

Sweet chops nita..
So down to earth cool.....
Amazing guitarist
Nita oh yeah!!!
Nita is crazy amazing. ... Ego kills talent .... My Mantra: "My hands are growing stronger, my accuracy is getting better and I need to practice hard." Use it between hand exercises that challenge the muscle in my forearms and hands.
Holy crap she is so awesome.
I love it so much fun and be safe and sound like a good day at work and I have to go to the
What a sweetheart
Very Synyster Gates like Solo.
Nita is a fantastic guitar player. What amp did you use?
Hi Marius, Nita conducted her dressing room lesson plugged straight into her Marshall CODE25 combo with the following "signal path" programmed into the amp: OD pedal model ->JCM800 preamp model -> Marshall 100W Poweramp model - 1960 cabinet model....with just a smidgen of the "Stadium Reverb" model added in the "virtual FX loop. As for Nita's live rig: check out the "Rig Rundown" video she was gracious enough to do for Sweetwater.
Nita is great

Yeah the dude form the legendary Reaper \m/ of See you in Hell and Rock You to Hell fame pioneer of the British Heavy Metal movement of the mighty 80's being sent to practice by the lovely Miss Strauss. He's Turning into a gullible panda!. Enjoyed the vid, chick is hot.
Nita Strauss is an amazing guitar player, and very hot.
Nita stauss TV shows that he has been the most important
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘😊
What is the tuning?
She uses Eb (which is standard but every note is a half step lower) so Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb
Vever c o o l
@ 2:08 you look so cool in this video 😊 @ 2:31 it sounds like you got a 100watt head there in the studio 👩 i'm listening to the midrange and bass and that deff sounds like a 4x12 closed cab; very cool 😎 Nita; @ 3:43 " one of my favorite licks is this guy right here " 😂😂😂😂 you are heterosexual @ 5:07 that ice cream truck slowing down thing sounds great 😊 @ 8:32 your modesty is awesome 👍 from: Scranton, Pennsylvania
(Sigh) I miss Randy Rhoads.
I saw him with Ozzy twice... guitar player who originated totally beyond this Earth.
I am curious to know what Nita muttered under her breath @5:35 when this rude and insensitive Pommy made an insulting comment.
I know that was pretty weird. Who in the hell would be up on stage hired to play air guitar. Why would anyone assume she’s not playing? Guitar is a pretty popular instrument and a lot of people play it
I love n I t a i love you so very true and I h a p p y WI t c h is guitar
Drum solos 😩 I can understand people going to the bathroom.
Been cooler if she admit that was the thunderstruck riff
Nightmare! What is this guy doing in a tattered robe there?
Shout out to Kirk Hammett for writing the intro of her solo 20-30+ years ago hahahahahahaha, she’s still an awesome player tho, all love
IMHO, if there's a "shout out" owed to anyone regarding the slight "Am I Evil" intro nod, it should be to Brian Tatler of Diamond Head who co-wrote and recorded the original version that Kirk & Co. covered so well....
Very "Thunderstruck-y".... 🤷♂️
Jeez this dude's dull.
She's not a very clean player or it is the guitar (every review of that guitar sounds scratchy like there's lots of string noise)
"oh, i'm so great"," i'm the best guitar player in the world". This is just self glorification, "Pure talent"?, don't make me laugh, she's only big mouthed.
