Once you tested adaptive cruise control, you can't ever go back. The car looks great (although too big for my taste as an Européan). The biggest problem with the car is that the company may not exist in a few months and it will be complicated to have replacement parts (and software updates). In France, I see they are selling for 43-45k euros currently (instead of the original 66k), to have quick cash to save themselves.
Edmunds reports that the car depreciated 70% in 2 months they owned it, with Fisker on track for bankruptcy, wouldn't having no future spare parts, bug fixes, or repair centers be considered a "con"?
The bright side is that the technology is largely owned and developed by Magna in Austria. I’d bet that some of the parts will remain available for some time.

Thank you for your review. I just got my Ocean shipped to the Bahamas. The shipper left the car unlocked and sadly the car was bricked on the arrival. But I figured out how to de-brick it. And I look forward to exploring all these features.

As an FOO owner myself sequence 2121 of 5000 I have had a similar driving experience with no real issues .The reviews that sone Teska snobs have posted are unfair. They seem to forget the early issues that Tesla had and still have to this day ( 12 years on). This SUV is fast ,3.6s to 60 mph 3.4 in boost mode. With tge planned OTA,s coming in the next 3 months this vehicle will be one if the best available in its class. Thanks for setting the record straight.
@Ocean1_FSR yeah speaking of should have, i just found out that there is also no remote heating or cooling, i have winter in austria right now, i would killmyself if i bought the only EV on the market without that feature in the middle of winter. There is an auction coming up when i could buy the extreme at probably like 75% off endprice but hell no, that missing feature is a total deal breaker for me.

Well sure it's an interesting car with potential, but the company behind it is in big trouble. I'd be wary of purchasing a Fisker Ocean for that reason alone, which creates sort of a death spiral. The company is in dire straits, meaning less people will want to buy the car, which sends it further down the spiral - which is sad, but it is truly a mismanaged company.
400 watts. The most I have personally seen is 191KW on a DC fast charger. it's supposed to be 250KW capable though. I think its currently software limited

Im afraid people will lose their trade in value for FO where its worth nothing. Carmax wont even take them in as trade ins already.
The Fisker Ocean is a nice looking vehicle that seems so well thought out and it would be a shame for the company not to survive and for the Fisker Ocean not to carve out a market for itself. Considering what Fisker has produced with limited funds, it would really seem to be a company that is ripe for a larger automaker that is slipping behind its competitors for EV offering and wants to quickly and easily catch up and in some respects overtake. Considering the substantial carbon credit sales Tesla receives, Fisker would seem to be a better investment for a number of legacy automakers in that respect alone. Of course the devil is in the detail and maybe when looking behind the curtain the feasibility is not there, but that would be a tragedy.

While resale value of your vehicle may not be top of mind as you are really enjoying it, the value must be dropping, first on account of company uncertainty, and now with new vehicles going on fire sale. Also, what advice would you give someone who is tempted to buy an Ocean given the massive discounts now offered?

The car drives incredibly well and is brutally fast. It's an enjoyable car. Like everyone else though that is an owner, management just left us hanging. It's complicated actually but when Geeta missed the 10Q the company was toast because Heights diluted the company into the ground.

I have never had a car with 564 HP, two electric motors, 360 miles of range, self leveling headlights, alcantara seats, two taco trays, digital rear view camera, 360 3D camera, 22 inch wheels, a screen that actually rotates, and the lists goes on and on, so while it may lack a handful of features that are coming soon, it is by far the best car I have ever owned. We love road tripping in it. And did I mention how good it looks? And I didn't even mention the massive solar panel on the top that gives me about 3+ miles of range per day. Yeah, it's safe to say it is the best car I have ever owned.
@Ocean1_FSR on a serious note, I have no doubt that you drive it everywhere, but you gotta admit, driving this car on a somewhat of a long trip, is very inconvenient without the adaptive cruise control, lane centering, etc -- especially on today's standards and the expectations on these high tech very expensive vehicles. If the experience is not good, it can't be considered the best car.
You better sell your car, the company is going bankrupt at any moment. No more dealer/service centers...whatever needs fixing...you'll need to figure it out on your own

We have 23k miles on ours. It's been great, but unfortunately the company went BK so we have a mess with no parts, no service, no warranty.

Sadly car had potential but it had 3+ recalls, major software issues prior to V. 2 and many savvy reviewers found it lacking. You certainly know way more than me but biggest issue who will do the software updates and maintenance. Sad….
