WoW!! Just wow! For someone who has never built a cabinet or drawer before, you did a terrific job. I really do love seeing the younger generation getting involved in a time honored traditional hobby. I think you made a great choice for a miter saw. With the slide bars in front it saves a lot of room, plus you have the reputation of a great Japanese Company behind it. I subscribed based on this first and only video of yours that I have watched. I look forward to more of your content.

From you first comments, I did not think I would pick up any new ideas, but there were several good ones, like the saw holder. Drawers look like they were made with someone more experienced in cabinet making. Well spaced. As a serious wanna be woodworker, but very experienced RUclips watcher it is fun to watch shop re-do's. Not bad at all is the old saying.

This weekend I'm planning on getting rid of the peg-board wall and replacing it with a French cleats in my shop. Thanks for the tips.
I made a battery storage cabinet this summer. The chargers are on the top which slides down when I need to charge a battery. I have Ryobi, Milwaukee and Makita chargers and I find it funny that Makita never thought of adding key holes. I ended up forming some blocks around it and holding it down with paracord. I think I'll check out that Etsy store for the Makita charger holder.

What type of plywood are you using there? I’m in the UK and I don’t think we have anything other than birch ply (which has its supply issues and high cost these days) that would be suitable for cabinet building and look as nice as that. Most ply we have is just construction grade.

Thanks! French cleats are a stronger mounting system. The load is spread over a larger area. But my favorite part is how adaptable they are. All of the tool holders can move around and reconfigure as I add more. And if I decide I don't want one of the holders, I simply lift it off and there are no screw holes to cover. Hope that helps!

Great to see that at least not all girls spend their time in TikTok, games, or other bullshit things.

another workshop organization video, just what the world needed. I'm looking forward to see the mandatory pocket hole and epoxy table videos too. nothing original nowadays.

That looks awesome. I’m on the path to doing something similar. If you don’t mind me asking, what was the total cost of material? @makergray
