I've used other (10" saws) previously and was pretty surprised with the speed and cutting ability of this Dewalt saw.I have bolted mine to a table to minimize movement which I highly recommend. This is a Great saw ruclips.net/user/postUgkxPeGkHOMe05FySypTOvYumxMn-xi39oRe with a light to see your cutting line (not a laser line).I'd recommend this saw fro anyone looking to upgrade from a 10" miter saw.
Really Nice, I'm getting ready to do the same, (when I finish the master bath remodel), I really do like the grey and black colors along with laminate countertops. I'm inspired!
Thanks man! Really like this style, plus the durability of the laminate 👍🏽
Wonderful build. Enjoyed the clean approach as well as the satisfying attention to detail. Real nice to watch. Love your tools.
Thank you!
Damn I'm impressed, I've learned a lot of new tricks. I've watched a ton of videos but I haven't learned this much from one video.
Hey John, You've built up an adorable work station that I never seen like that so far!! Everything was clear in its process. Thank you very much for sharing that with us.
Thanks a lot! 👍🏽
I love the level of finish on this. It look's great! Your detailed instructions are also helpful. Thanks for the video.
Thank you!!
Great job, I'm very impressed! I built one with Kreg tables and a Tigerstop installed on laminate countertops as well. I love how easy it is to clean the laminate! I'm going to use some of your ideas for the dust collection! Thanks so much for sharing!
sounds cool! thanks for watching!
So many good techniques; I came for the dust box, but also learned a great method for positioning and mounting drawer fronts. The screws through the handle holes is a great tip!
Thanks for watching!
Magnet tape front on the hood is genius. Excuse me while I head off to my shop to make a new hood for my chopsaw!
Seems to be alot of heart wood??
John, Awesome station. About a hundred years ago when I was doing laminate work instead of strips of wood to hold it off the sub substrate I used an extension cord. 50' usually worked and was long enough, you just looped it up and down and then when you were putting it together start pulling the cord. Ta da. I went into using that because I had a chip of wood fall off in the middle of the sheet and I don't have to tell you how hard it was to get out. I was born in the Jurassic era, 1946. You do some very nice work and it's enjoyable to watch you. Keep it up.
Thank you!!
Nicely done. Admirable attention to detail for shop furniture.
Thank you very much for your time, very nice , take care
I always mix up rails and stiles - now I will never forget “rails, like a hand rail” !!!! Nice off-the-cuff tip!
🙌🏼🙌🏼
Or......RAIL road tracks, are horizontal.
Stiles : Stilts.

Your method to attach drawer fronts is genius. I've been a carpenter for 38 years and learned something today
Thanks for watching man!
yep me too!
This is amazing. You've got my sub and I'll be referring to this when I go to build my drawers in my work bench.
Thank you!
Man,I agree this is at top over the top the list this that I call super professional finish no details.
Honestly, this is a rather impressive setup. Nicely done.
Now, if you could come and help me install my soft close drawers, I would appreciate it :)
Wow, when I started watching this, I was like hey, this is pretty cool. Then it kept getting better as the video went on! Subscribed. Great ideas in here!
Thanks man!
I really like your calm and humble demeanor and clear presentation of your projects. Now I see why the offset router base would be useful.
I appreciate that!
I appreciate the quality work done.
This must be the nicest looking mitre saw station I've seen... well done man... Sub'd
I appreciate it!!
That's the most beautifully built stations I've seen. I wish I could do things like that. That's a lot of material and equipment.
Wow, extremely talented. You made that look so easy, I wish I had the room to build that.
The finished product looks like some of the best custom cabinets I've seen, and you did so pretty economically. Really well done.
I appreciate it!
Fantastic work John, I really enjoy how clean you keep everything, including your shop.
Thank you! The new cabinets should help hide the mess even better haha
Same here, great work my guy.
I have the dust topper thing on a bucket, and it saves me a ton on filters and bags. On my miter saw though, it seems most dust does not go up the chute but spits out the front. As I build my shop and bench top, I will definitely be looking for the dust hood
i don't think I've ever seen anyone use clamps to stabilize a boards vertically like that. So simple but so effective. The build is awesome but I also love learning little handy tricks like that from others.
Thanks for watching!
Excellent video and process. Thanks for sharing. I like that off set base on your router. Great job.
Wow! I'm green with envy for how neat and precise your work is. Fantastic job! Thanks for posting this video.
Thank you!!
Nice. My miter saw is on wheels so I can move it outside and cut away. There remains ZERO dust control with a sled miter so I think nature should have the dust.
nothing like trying to wrestle a sixteen foot long stick of baseboard in a garage. I'll take mine portable and outside.
Don't usually comment at all, but this was truly impressive. I watch a lot of the "usual" woodworking channels and this was the best build so far. Great video overall as well. Subbed and looking forward to more videos
Thanks a lot I appreciate that!
excellent job! look forward to making something similar!!!
This is one of the best woodworking videos I've seen on RUclips. You did an excellent job explaining why you did each step and had some great ideas that I had not thought of. Nice work with the editing as well!
Thanks man I appreciate it!
That's probably one of the cleanest built miter saw stations I've ever seen. How are you liking the Cruzer? Is it pretty accurate?
It’s been perfect so far man👊🏼
I’d go for the bosch glide 12
This is an incredible build!!! Make it look so dang easy!!!
Thanks for all the great build videos!! Really high quality stuff and looks great! Inspires me to build some cabinets like this for my shop
Thanks a lot!
Amazing build!!b Turned out great! Thank you for sharing your time and talent!
Thank you!!
Great job! Always strive to fulfill your dreams!
Very impressive! You rock! Thanks for sharing and the great ideals. Keep up the good work....will definitely be doing that in my shop!
Thank you!
Very well done - thank you for sharing. This project was very well thought out and executed and gave me plenty of ideas and tips
Thank you! 👍🏽
I have watched a few of these miter saw station builds. If I had to vote now, yours is the best. I must have seen a half dozen neat tips I had not thought of. I really liked your adjustment mechanism for setting the saw height. I need to watch that one again. Thanks John, excellent job. Now I need to check your videos on painting. You seem to have a good grasp on that too!
Thanks a lot I appreciate that!!
Your presentation was so good. The process and your narrative was flowing like a beautiful musical piece. I'm inspired, as I just completed my 200 Sq ft shop, and can't wait to "furnish" it...
I appreciate that!!
Phenomenal. I am itching to build a miter saw station myself just waiting for the garage to be available. I must have watched this half a dozen times already. Soooo soothing.
Hahaha thanks man!
for me this is the best miter saw station ive ever seen! specially the color combination! And more importantly its so easy to build, or you make it look so easy haha. Great job sir! Im currently browsing your other videos
Thank you! I love how it turned out!
Really good job, it was a pleasure to watch the process. Nicely cut, glued instead of double tape, the design and the appearance is cool.
Thanks for watching!!
Gotta say, very impressed. Liked, Subscribed! Gonna look at some more.
Nice addition to my knowledge 👌, Thanks for video
Nice job! I really like the clean look to it. Great tip on aligning all the bottom drawer fronts and doors.
Thanks man!
I like working oustide so I have my miter saw on a dedicated stand with wheels for easy movement and added support for long boards (I just finished cladding my house in Siberian larch which required working with 4 m (13 ft) boards and actually moving the saw around the house a lot - the stand was a life saver), also my shop will not be big enough to enable working with even 3 m long boards on both sides of the miter saw.
But I love this design so much, I might attempt to get the best of both worlds - I'm thinking about making the center section with the saw itself removable and putting it on casters to roll outside for working with longer boards if need be and just for the fun of being outdoors. This will screw up the tape measure for sure, so I'll lose that killer feature...
I need to think about it. Thanks for the inspiration, man! Love your work.
Wow. I bow to you. Your diy mindset and pragmatic work ethic is exactly what this wannabe needed. You deserve every good thing you get!
Im inspired. Excellent video production as well. Giddyup!
Thank you!!
Wow John! Everything about this video was outstanding; from the step by step process, to the finished project. Thank you, and you got a new subscriber here.
Thank you! 🙌🏼
Great job again John! Very detailed and you explained a lot of the process you went through. I've already gotten the Earlex 5500 for some furniture I'm building, but have already prepped for the X5 for some larger projects I've got. Glad I saw it here as it better justifies getting both, just hard to explain to the wifey, but it'll all be good. I really like that you list every item we saw on the video in the video details. I kinda chuckled when I saw some yellow and black tools in there and not just black and red. But you do have that sharp blue Delta. Keep up the great work and content!
thanks a lot! Yea I've used the earlex to spray paint and it gives a good finish, you just have to thin it. Which would affect the color big time on this grey paint, and the durability of it as well. Always nice to have options!
Slicker than grease. Looks radical badical and inspired me for my new station I am setting up at work.
Very elegant looking besides functional. I will definitely incorporate some of your elements. The comprehensive list is a great touch.
Thank you!!
Just WOW! Such a nice hand made work station. Need me one of these. Excellent 👍🏼
Thank you!
Beautiful job John. You have given me a couple of ideas for my workstation. I hope it looks as good and is as functional as yours when I'm done.
Thanks for watching!!
Impressive! Great foresight in your preparation for what was going to be needed.
Thank you! 👍🏽
Amazing work! Compliments!
I'll never need one, but it was great to watch and some of the handy tips I'll definitely use! Superb stuff John.
Thanks for watching!!
Super clean build with amazing results. It was inspiring for sure. Thank you.
Thank you!
Great vid., you do beautiful work. Can’t believe the number of good ideas I picked up watching you build this miter saw work area. You really did a nice job. This work area will speed up the process and aid you to achieve excellent quality of your work.
Thank you for taking the time.
Jack in Missouri
Thanks a lot Jack!
I want this! amazing how cool it is!
Looks amazing man! Thoroughly enjoy the videos.
Thanks Dustin!
I am getting ready to redo and upgrade my shop and your build has definitely given me some great ideas. Great job.
Thanks for watching! 👍🏽
Dude! Absolutely inspiring. Thanks for sharing your craftsmanship.
Thank you!!
Gotta say - this looks amazing. Great construction and great colour scheme. Very functional and practical and not too over the top with bells and whistles. Excellent build.
Thanks!👊🏼
Cool mate, I love way you set the your dust collection system
Now that’s a dope miter saw station!!! I like that style of fence stops vs the upright fence stops! Great content and keep up the great work bro!
Thanks man! 👊🏼
magnetic tape it is lol ive been in the "building custom anything!" world my whole life. not only is your setup perfected ive literally been thinking and searching ways for my mitor box dust "control!" but you just resolved my issue. i love it in everyway and this is awesome. would love to see more. definitely liked and subbed for this video alone.
I am building something similar in my garage in a couple of months. This is helpful. So cool to have the space for dust collection in the basement. So much better for noise. I just leave my headphones on all day in my shop.
Thanks for watching! 👍🏽
Looks amazing John. You should be proud.
Excellent video, my friend. I am in the process of making one for my shop. I have some space limitations, but I should be able to work around it.
Thanks for sharing. Felix
Thanks for watching!
I like your dust catcher for the miter saw.
The magnetic tape trick opened up my mind to a whole lot of uses that I hadn't considered before.
Thanks .......
Thanks for watching man!
Awesome love the build! Very inspired and love that miter saw honestly didn't realize they made those. Haven't had a lot of time to build past couple years!. Thanks for content!
Thanks for watching!
Maravilloso tus muebles! Así haré los míos, Gracias! Saludos desde CdMx.
Absolutely fantastic work. Great attention to detail and informational as hell. Loved it!
Thanks man!
Great build and video John. Really like the design and detail you added to your work space. Looks to be an excellent addition!
Loving it! Glad I finally got it done. Thanks for watching!
Awesome cabinets, John! I love the paint job and the black hardware. It's pretty much what I had in mind for my own shop. Looking forward to more!
do you have a youtube channel? if you do, please send the link so that i can subscribe
Thank you! I love how it turned out!
@@mzansishandisi9322 not yet, but it's in the works!
1:16 - I like how you use that handiclamp to serve as a support for a temporarily freestanding board. These are the kinds of tips that save me time (and sanity) later.
100%! Thanks for watching!
simply stunning, i'd be extremely proud to both own and have the skill to build something like that
Thank you!!
That was a nice build. I like the clever yet simple use of spacers to put on the drawer faceplates. Well done!
Thanks for watching!!
Good vid John nice build, I loved your tip for fitting draw fronts. It would of saved me a ton of time if id of seen this years ago.
🙌🏼🙌🏼
Absolutely beautiful job start to finish. It looks like you left it free standing and somewhat modular in case you ever move.
Yep! May take 2 guys haha but still able to move👍🏽
Great video and tutorial. Also, the way you list every product you use in the notes is crazy helpful so thank you very much for taking the time to do that. Great build project - really well thought out and executed. Perfectly explained along the way too. Thank you. Cheers from Wisconsin.
I appreciate that, thank you!!
Congratulations for beautiful job, i wait the next vídeo to watch one more amazing job, see you soon!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks!
Ingenious!! I really liked the idea of the magnet and steel tape. Well done! Like I said on Instagram, I've been drawing a similar concept in my head. I am defiantly going to use the magnet strip and the leveling system for the saw. Thanks for the video!!
I figured it'd be way easier to fine tune it and adjust it that way if needed. Thanks for watching!
This was amazing!. I want to build this for my shop.
Wow what a beautiful build! I will be doing this along with adding a router and space for my Kreg Foreman.
Bravo 👏 John!
Awesome project you managed to simplify a very taunting project at least for me. Just hope mine comes out half as good. Keep up the great work,
Cheers from Chicago!
Thanks man!
One upped jays miter station. Love this one
Haha I appreciate it!
That centipede table is nice!
Offset router, cool
Tape and CA glue is a new trick.
Lots of good info here!
Thanks for watching!
A no-fence fence is the way to go. Since I posted a video of my fence and Fastcap style stop block back in July of 2018 I've seen an explosion of this style.
Great job, I’m about to start mine and gathering ideas. Doesn’t look like I’ll need to look anymore, this video was excellent!! Thanks!
Thanks for watching!!
Fantástico. Enhorabuena, gran trabajo, con ideas geniales. Te has ganado un nuevo suscriptor. Saludos desde España.
Great project , tanks for this
Inspired!! I’d say more like jealous. I just learned more from you in 15 minutes then I have learned in the past 15 years. Thanks. You sir just earned my subscription.
Thank you!!
Beautiful work, both on the cabinets and the video. Thank you!
Thank you!!
Excellent...Thank you for sharing your build.
Thank you!
Well done John. The finished look is totally pro and your build technique very good. The only thing I would have added would have been some additional supports in the center of the bottom of the cabinet. I really liked that you used the Formica and your color choice is great. The little paint booth very cool as are the temporary work table structures you whipped out. Hope your wife approved of getting some more clamps.
Very nice work. Great to see someone who notices and cares about the details!
Thank you!
Hypnotically brilliant
Very Profesional I like works like this my dream doing these works one day very good work man
