I have done alot of work to my 2006 M35 sport, but right now the only issue I have is I need to change fuel filter. Please tell me that's not where the fuel pump is located...Wanted to change spark plugs and do an oil change all together but where is this fuel filter located?

Very helpful... Question for you. Did you ever ran into an issue with M35x where the brake pedal goes all the way to the floor before it stops? I mean i replaced all the brakes and rotors, bled and flushed the brake fluid but still have the same problem.
Hey i know your are the Guru when it comes to these m45s m56s q45s ect... you have inspired me to get an 03 m45 and i was wondering if theres anything i should look for or be concerned about?
The biggest concern would be the rarity of parts. I have seen some rough examples of these cars out there, so if someone tells you it's a simple fix, it would be nice to verify for yourself before it becomes a money pit. What to look out for - check the oil level with the engine cold. And if it knocks at startup, run away. They don't like oil neglect. Otherwise, simple to maintaintain and quite reliable.
@@EdBwoy okay thats great information thank you im not afraid of rebuilding a motor but who wants to buy a "nice running car with no issues" and then have to put a motor in it XD and thats some great information again thank you for the responce!

I'm replacing these right now. With the 22mm bolts the previous person down here tightened them wayyyy too much. I can't remove them. Any tips? I already applied WD40 twice
A little too late I suppose, but for anyone in that situation, I would recommend PB blaster, or freeze off applied daily for about a week before the job. Take this time to buy brand new bolts just in case the ones you're fighting come out damaged.
Oof! I'm glad it wasn't anything more serious. That first pedal push after changing brakes can feel scary. I should add the warning that you shouldn't immediately slide into traffic
@@EdBwoy Maaaan!!! I was like ooo shiit🤣🤣. Goo thing I didnt end up in the house😂😂. The bumper and hood had a few dings, nothing major. Hopefully it never slip my mind again.
As usual, awesome vid and very informative Ed. I've been doing my own brakes for yrs, never knew about the brake pads hooking in to the brackets 🤦♂️😆. I'll be doing that from now. Planning to do brakes and replace rotors soon. Ever so often when I brake the steering wheel would shake, depending on how fast I was going. What are your thoughts on the rotors, regular, slotted, drilled, slotted/drilled, and brands?
I personally prefer blank rotors. Easy maintenance, solid reliability for the kind of driving I do. Ive had some drilled and also slotted ones get noisy.
I was able to do my brakes with the help of your video. Just wanted to say thanks.
You're most welcome, I am glad I could help. Stay safe out there

The fuel filter is attached to the fuel pump, under the rear seat cushion
Did brakes on my m45 2 days ago but by watching your video looks like I need to re-do it😀 What kind grease you use, brand ? Thx
Lol, I think the sil-glyde brand is a pretty good do-it-all brake lubricant.
The black one is CRC. Amazing lubricant properties, but messy to apply.

Did you figure out what the problem was?
I've seen that being due to bad master cylinders if the rest of the lines were otherwise in good shape

What type of headlights are you using there nice and bright with a wide view.. are they the same light bulbs with the 07 G35 sedan?
They are actually the stock headlamps for the M45. It is an HID system with D2S bulbs
