You gave me so much knowledge about changing rotors I used to struggle when it's so easy if you know how to do it correctly I wonder what brand brake pads do you use?
Would you say that if the rear brake spring is not adjusted when mounting the rotor so that theres no wiggle and tight fit, can it cause shaking when braking? Once everything is back on. Even though rotors are new? Please help.
Hell yeah I love seems old time mechanics doing simple but independent job

Glad I could help. I'm using duralast gold pads. You can use any brand. Make sure they are premium pads.
Super awesome.
How often do i have to replace the rotors. I have the same car. Thank you.
Roy, What does that rubber plug you put in the rotor do?
I think that keeps the threads clean for a bolt to push the rotor off if it's stuck.
The rubber plug is used to stop any debre from going into the emergency brake.
The hole is used to adjust the emergency brake.
