This a shame for such a nice looking car. I was about to purchase 208 2013 model but after extensive research its a hard pass for me. I rather look into a Renault Clio or Suzuki Swift or Kia Rio.
It’s a shame. Also let me suggest, I don’t recommend Wet-belt or 3 cylinder engines. These are all problematic.
Our car is a Peugeot 301 2016 1.2 L PureTech, it consumed 1 L in 2.500/2.600 KM, would you say that's considered within range. It drinks oil like gas, some old cars don't consume a drop!
This is normal to consume this much oil unfortunately. In the 208 hand book, it is common to top up oil in between service change. I think every 2 to 3 thousand miles. These cars 1.2 engines, drink a lot of oil.
@@fixtasticcontents1925 What do you mean by "Top up" because some people told to simply add to max level. Others said, top up as in between services if your engine has 3.5 L capacity you will have to put 3.5 L or more between service change.
that mach oil contsumtion is no normal .a jappanees car does not contsump oil

How is fucking normal a car to drink 1l of oil just because of some miles wtf, this car is garbage.
I totally agree with you. It’s a manufacturing fault with these engines.
