@@rorixcreations4770 Good call though! I'm not sure why it didn't get the mention, Mana Echoes is probably the best mana source to keep the ball rolling.
I read this commander and ignored the encore half and wondered how a "Legendary Slivers but not Slivers" matters type deck would work instead of the sliver stuff. Stuff like Maskwood Nexus, Arcane Adaptation, etc and then clone a bunch of legends.
Eh, there's really only 2 cards where the first ability matters. The legion and The First, and let's be honest, was only having 1 of those ever really a problem, lol? Having multiple copies of the other 3 are redundant. I don't really need multiple copies of "All Slivers have Indestructible" or pay 2 for a token or pay 3 to tutor. As for the other abilities, Slivers isn't really a reanimator deck. I'm not sacing Slivers left and right to get them in the graveyard to really make this work and the Encore ability is just a 1 time effect so, it's def not equivalent to Myriad. Sliver decks, at least my Sliver deck, wants to combo off. This card seems like it would be a back-up plan in case your combo goes wrong and all your shit dies. This gives me a chance to try and get everything back and try to combo off again. I'll turn everyones gaze over to the Dregescape Sliver which gives all your Slivers Unearth 2. It basically does the same thing as the Gravemother except it brings everything back for 2 instead of x.
it brings everything back for 2 IF you have it in play. but use your imagination here... if you have three opponents and you have a lot of options in the graveyard, you are bringing it back with 3 copies. so you can pick and choose and stack effects from the graveyard. need flying or coat of arms effect or unblockable or hell even poison. you can strategically reanimate to alpha strike people and discourage them from even boardwiping you in the first place. imagine reanimating sliver legion + the double strike one for a single turn when you have three opponents. that is 148 damage on board with haste for 9 of any color mana ^^
@@beliffywu5804 Well, dude you can go infinite with slivers. Creating massive amounts of damage isn't the issue. All I'm saying is that reanimation isn't something that Slivers typically strive to do. Typically you want to keep them in play. Now, of course shit happens and creatures die unexpectedly so, I'm not saying I wouldn't do that, but it would be a back up plan and considering the dregescape does it for cheaper, it would be a back up to the back up. I guess I'm also saying that I wouldn't build a sliver deck around that card. And when I look at my current Sliver edh deck, which really just wants to combo off, I could probably find room for it but I'd have to really think about it. I'd have to think, is there really room for it and is it really necessary to be in there? Probably not.
I run a Sliver Tribal deck so any new updates to Sliver I love.
Sundial is a must
The First Sliver too
What about Mana Echos? Every sliver that enters gives more mana to keep the Encore train going.
Nevermind lol. I saw it on your decklist 😅

Do we know what comes in the precon yet?
We only have the cover legends at the moment, sadly.
Shadow Sliver is probably the best evasive sliver for an alpha strike
I like shadow sliver however u cant block either
Shifting Sliver my friend is where it's at
@@zeone3000 I've seen more changlings on the other side of the table than creatures with shadow
THORACLE?? This is blasphemous in Slivers
