I think the Witness has to be the raid boss. Maybe in the story we thwart it’s immediate plans to do whatever, but we fail to kill it. The raid would have us go to finish off the Witness.
I mean ya but that wouldn’t be a great conclusion for the story to end it on a raid, we could end the witness and their can be a raid boss that can open gates beyond this saga
@@josueurias7805 I mean, thats how we did it with Oryx. Killed him in the material plane during the TK campaign, then killed him again in his throne world during the King's Fall raid. And TTK is considered by many to at least be one of the best DLCs we've ever received
Well, some of those season 23 predictions are pretty slot on lol, save for the Eramis bit. The dungeon is nearly spot on! Though Fikrul doesn't make a PHYSICAL appearance, he is also heavily involved lore-wise. Crow has played a major part in the 23rd season, too!
I think there is merit to a manipulation subclass. We have Ai in the game that fight as our allies so it’s not too difficult to swap the enemies to friendly. Especially seeing as how all the way back in Rise of Iron in D1 there was an artifact that let you punch and change the enemy to an ally.
My theory is that the final line of the prophecy wall is meant to indicate that the Witness will kill everything, every timeline, everything that ever was or will be.
9:00 lost me when you started talking about cayde being alive and having discourse in the last city. he clearly isn’t truly alive as shown by the pure light emanating from him and his gun. If anything he will end up being similar to a force ghost of such or some kind of spiritual guide perhaps. EDIT: Not lost me as I didn’t keep watching or enjoying but moreso that I disagree with that point and wanted to give my theory! Sick video can’t wait to see what if anything comes true!
Unfortunately, WE killed uldren. So technically we are the Hunter Vanguard. Also, if you look into the lore, you will see that it says we are the Hunter Vanguard and Cayde will not be replaced. Plus, crow is part of the Orbital Vanguard, just like Eris and Drifter are Dark Vanguard.
That was really fun to watch. Subbed and eagerly awaiting the follow up vid with your reactions. P. S I hope your subclass idea comes true. Poison is boring and overused in my eyes.
I thought the same thing about guardians that turn to the darkness, and I felt like if they were ever going to revitalize gambit that would be the opportunity. Or they could ditch gambit and craft us an entirely knew PVE mode (long shot but it’d be cool) where Each team has guardians fighting like crucible but can call in ads to help them. Similar maybe to like gambit if you score some points you call in some ads. During the season you pick which side you’re going to be on. If you pick darkness it’s not canon to the story since you’d obviously need to be good to finish the story… but just a fun choice the player can make.
I think it would be Interesting if erimis was killed by the witness and then resurrected by the traveler. Because she would forget who she was and it would be similar to crow. And since Mithrax would probably be dead and eido could teach erimis about her past as a leader of the elixny.
I do wish for either the guardian or ghost to get separated for a a bit. Like imagine how cool it would be to have a section of a mission where we play as ghost flying around and trying to reach our weakened guardian. Or ghost gets yoinked we go on a rampage trying to reach him.
I mean its pretty obvious that's what they'll do considering that bungie does not want to overdeliver. Which is such flawed logic as we are nearing the end of the saga. Oh well, once this is over i'm moving on to better games. baldurs gate 3, starfield, man 2023 is looking great. @@kingxavier8998
I think the next subclass could be abt time manipulation. The single electron theory could be the theme for it since there could be a single electron in the entire universe but its the same one in different states everywhere. It could manifest in game as abilities which slow down the projectiles of enemies for example. a mobility rework would also be nice which would lower the chances of being hit by enemies if you move. Probably just wishfull thinking tho
15:30 I think if they were going to make us fight the people that make up the Witness, they would've made them (or the more powerful ones at least) more distinct and memorable in the cinematic from this season. If they really all look the same, it would be boring af to just fight a bunch of dudes that were just introduced that we have no real connection to

I could find 3 week old Chinese takeout in the back of my Mom’s fridge that is more fresh and dynamic than anything released in *”lightfall”*

Please bungie…. Give us the trophy room back… the crafting room on mars is literal dog shit….
Having all enemy types in the final raid would keep things interesting.

Or that the witness dies after drinking the light
the guardian throneworld idea sounds really cool
I think it would also be a really good way to introduce a personal player space
I saw some else say it I cant remember who but throne world's could be a way for destiny to get a forge mode
@@ciaran2745 my thoughts exactly
our throne world is the real world that would be an insane reveal.
@@jadenyuki2031 I can't see at all how that would work

If they show us a Time based subclass which is able to stop/slow time, omg ZA WARDO
All my homies love Crow
Oh, Guardian, Haven’t you been paying attention? - Savathun, as she betrays us
I think the last time Eramis was relevant was in Defiance (Season 20), she played a major role and was 'present' for what happened with Amanda.

Witness will probably be the raid boss imo, as long as the story is better than lightfalls then I'm happy
didnt bungie say the narrative ends with raid so i think its almost confirmed witness is the raid boss
Only two possible options for the raid boss and thats The Witness or Xivu
Ikora said herself Crow is not Uldren, so he has no right to the dare anyway.
So heres what i think, more eververse microtransactions, price increase on dlc, 8 legendary missions, reused enemies again, 1 new darkness enemy type.
Bullseye big bro, big W

Zavala/Caiatl, Saint/Mithrax, Ikora/Savathun, I'm fully expecting a Crow/Fikrul for the final season before FS
The garden in the trailer is the witnesses home world.
these are some pretty cool theories, can't wait to see what happens
Just discovered your chsnnel. Excellent content 👍🏽
the witness is gonna be the final boss in the raid
the dark guardian might be osris
It would be cool if Darkness corrupted guardians became a new enemy type.
