I'm a little disappointed you glossed over the Dregens, Thorn and Last Word, and how the first Risen, Rezyl Azzir, became Dregen Yor and charged the Drifter and Shin Malphur with testing Guardians' ability to weild the Darkness through Gambit and weeding out undesirables who became Corrupted like Rezyl/Yor did.

Probably because that would be a huge flat out spoiler that can ruin a major reveal in Witch Queen for people who haven’t played it yet.
