I actually just put a build list together for someone with this cpu and before the GPU I got them a build total of only $375. CPU, Mobo (4 ram slot and heat sink on VRM), 2x8GB 3200mhz, 750w psu, MATX Case with rgb fans, 500GB NVMe, add a 3060 TI and you’ve got about the best budget system money can buy (besides maybe a 12th gen i3 system but that’ll be a good $100-150 more after the mobo and cpu price difference.
actually, you can get a 8-10 fps increase, if you slap a cheap $10 antex a30 on there, and keep its temperature at about 62 degrees instead of 76 with the stock cooler whilst gaming...... plus for $10 you get a cool blue led and heatsink on it, making it more of a gamery look

I have this paired with a 3060, and for some reason it seems to pair better with my 1650S.
