      Don't let it bring you down!! It's the natural reaction people have to change that they don't yet understand - First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, and then you win. :) This big truth has repeated itself many times when it comes to big changes in history. :)

      Choose Vegan I never understood why people think it's "weird" or "strange" to be vegan just because most of us were raised to eat animal products. I think it's weird to consume the milk of another animal that's meant for its own child since no other animal does that (unless you feed your pets milk).

      Choose Vegan they mock you because your probably a pain in the ass like most vegan. Keep your mouth shut about what you eat and don’t bother others about what they eat and no one will mock you. Like most vegans you probably can’t keep your mouth shut about being vegan and that’s where the problem is

      Something I've learned in my adulthood is that people think they're special snowflakes, they like to play victim, and they don't want to deal with the difficulty of change.
      We were all programmed they same way when it comes to eating animals. I'd guess that 99%of vegans once had they thought, "How the hell am I going to give up cheese, ice cream, etc." (while not realizing there are vegan versions...)" Usually when I bring this to non-vegan's attention, they STFU.

      Gabrielle Nickson correct i agree with u but i wish there is substitute to feta cheese tho.. i really miss that and unfortunately the vegan ice creams dont taste good at all so kinda miss that too 😞 dont like the taste of soya too but im kinda forcing myself lol. I wish more n more substitutes are being produced so it's easier for many people!

      angry vegan Yeah u sometimes hear that from non-vegans, I personally dont believe that to much when ppl come out with it, I tend to think they say that when they finally realise where the conversation is going and dont want to seem like an absolute uncaring person that they are because they suddenly just realised for themselves that that is who they are but without ever have a conversation like this one to make them realise (hence why these conversations are extremely important, good work Ed :) ) they might just be, sorta like a defence tactic that there mind plays on them, I dont blame them one bit tho as I prob would have answered the same back before I was vegan

    • @danimarie48
      @danimarie48 7 лет назад +5

      Honestly people can make excuses like that they need to eat meat for health. But there's no valid argument against animal testing or wearing leather. I don't agree with eating meat, but I understand why people do. When people wear leather or buy products tested on animals I do not understand that. There's no argument to do those because it's not needed or inconvenient to do the moral thing.

    I used to work in a restaurant in Louisiana. If you know Louisiana you know there is a huge cockroach "problem". They were always finding their way into the restaurant, along with lizards. My coworkers used to tell me to squish the cockroaches and put the lizards outside. I would sweep up the cockroaches and put them outside. I would tell them "There's no point in killing them. They're not hurting anybody". People thought I was weird. I wasn't even vegan at this point.

    a couple months before I stopped eating meat, I adamantly told a vegetarian girl that I'd just met that I could never live without meat. so whenever I hear people respond like this I don't get angry or anything because I was the same way. just by explaining your point of view calmly, people will see where you're coming from and soon enough they too can't ignore the truth. That's why I think that you guys are doing good, because those people that you meet in street probably go home and do more research and eventually realise that there needs to be change. good job guys 👍

    In the very near future there will be a super realistic plant version of bacon (like a smoked tempeh creation). Then you can carry it around on a tray and shove it into bacon-lover's mouths to shut them up. My children are hens and roos... they have access to my house thru a doggie door 24x7 connected to their "mansion". They are 100% my family, no cages ever. I speak their language and they understand me too. They recognize different people, make choices and decisions and have their own personality, likes and dislikes and even their own drama too. They purr too and let me know when they really enjoy whatever I am doing to them. It's amazing to watch them and I feel so blessed to share my life with them. I adore them and it kills me to know millions are abused and slaved and killed each day just because of ignorance or literally not wanting to know.
    I love Ed and the work he does. He is inspiring me to do more than just having my little sanctuary here. Just watching his videos we can all learn how to talk to other about it. He is absolutely the modern Jesus!
    Ps I just went and put blankies on my broody ones hahaha and they purred and stay all quiet and still. If they don't want to be covered, they would also let me know. But here it's all good for them tonight. Every animal farm should enjoy the rest of their lives being loved.

    Really love the way you approach the topics because it gets people's brains thinking - that's really what we all need is a little information looked through a different perspective

    Asking someone if they believe in equality is a rather loaded question and anyone who actually stops and thinks before opening their mouths would have to answer no. The human scum that fill prisons around the world do not deserve the equality of law abiding citizens.

    These people don't even know how to react and respond when simultaneously asked simple logical questions, it's literally like when he asks these questions that they've not thought about it before... we are born and raised blind and ignorant until something or somebody comes along and enlightens us, and its just a shame when they try and fight it...i only wish I would have known the truth sooner...😔smh. I'm just grateful for people like you shedding light on truth. You are so brave and calm at the same time... 👏

    So much love and respect for you and what you're doing for the animals and the planet man. Seriously inspiring, I'm actually going to start doing some of these street interviews myself. I am going to try to mimic your calm demeanor and just allow the people to come to the conclusions themselves. That's what I love about your videos in particular! Never attacking people- the Vegan movement needs more people like you. I think it's an amazing idea and I know you've changed people's lives. Keep up the good work 🌈

    I think the problem is that most people simply haven't gave any thought into what happens when we farm animals and what makes it okay for us to do so. Ever since we were little kids, meat is provided to us as part of our diet, so we simply never questioned it. Eating meat became so fundamental to us we become too stubborn for change.

    Good work as always, Ed. That guy on the right came the closest I've heard a meat eater say that humans should care for the animals because we're intellectually superior. Usually they argue the opposite. Maybe he's close to making the connection, or am I dreaming?

    • @lightsrallon907
      @lightsrallon907 7 лет назад +1

      There's very little proof that humans are more intelligent than animals. Look around you, who's screwing up the planet and can't agree on anything of importance or even figure out what they're supposed to eat? Animals got us beat in many ways of intelligence, even ants.

    It is funny how most people say they care where the meat comes from or that they eat meat but NOT A LOT. I guess some really do, but most people don't think about where their their steak or cheeseburger come from, they just want themselves to feel better.
