The meat paradox refers to a state, where one cares for and yet harms other animals. Research shows it is caused and maintained particularly by six factors: Cognitive dissonance, dissociation, strategic ignorance, hedonism, custom, and marginalization of empathy.

Why it’s impractical to tell everyone to go vegan ❌. People in coastal areas , have saline soil… they can’t grow much veg food. For them what’s practical is fish 🐠 People in areas with heavy rainfall areas (tropical Vietnam), have damp soil… they can only grow rice, coconut, coffee. For them fish 🐠 & pigs 🐖 are more easy to breed & eat. People in desert areas (Arab), have water scarcity… they can’t grow any vegetables…for them sheep, 🐑 goats 🐐 meat is easy. People in snowfall areas (alps), for them meat from 🐐 , 🐑 , yak is easy But people living in areas with river water beds, plateaus can have lot of water resources & fertile land… they can grow almost everything. They should try eating plant based diet as much as possible. Even they can grow few livestock like cow, goats, chicken & feed them agricultural byproducts like hay, seed husk, etc. We can fulfil our daily nutrient requirements by just eating 100 grams of meat per day along with plant based food🍖 🥩. But we are eating a lot more meat than that❌. So I think people should minimise meat consumption & find a balance between plant based & animal based food to conserve resources & attain better health. 💚 For a person in costal area, fish is a lot cheaper than vegetables & fruits. People choose what’s local & budget friendly, not vegan friendly 🍃 Since it’s economically impractical for different geographical locations to import veg food from other regions, people will continue to eat local animal based products like dairy, fish & meat… A nation is not run by fantasies, a nation runs by economics 🇬🇧

Mr. Beast truly has the opportunity to make a difference on this planet but turns a blind eye to exploit animals and resources for profit. You do an amazing job at these deep dive videos! There was a recent incident in Monterey where Vicente Joseph Arroyo murdered 80+ animals in a 3 hour period with dozens of random weapons. A video on psychology of these disgusting monsters who commit cruelty like this would be fascinating from your perspective. I understand and agree the largest amount of cruelty faced is in the food people eat as billions of animals are killed each year. Do you think maybe there’s correlation with that and how some people are not compassionate and commit animal cruelty to this degree? So many recent upsetting animal cruelty cases and it’s disgusting 😭💔

"95% of of dairy farms are family owned" Nice, nice. Now let's see what percentage of dairy is produced by factory farms, or if the cows feel better when the people profiting from them have a family.
The degree to which he leverages human suffering and desires, and the way this hooks viewers, seemed evidence enough to me from the start. He is also extremely obsessed with the success of his empire; when you see him talk about it, it becomes abundantly evident that all of his philanthropy is a calculated performance tailored specifically to fuel engagement. Why would we want to contribute to heart disease and cancer for children? Think they're already being fed all the nasty stuff that schools got, changing it from 100% bad for health to 70% bad, doesn't make a difference. Instead let's promote plant-based natural foods to schools for them to use.

7. **Custom and Hedonism**:
- *How much do you think your enjoyment of the taste of meat influences your decision to eat it?*
- *Have you ever considered whether your dietary habits are more about personal pleasure than necessity?*
8. **Marginalization of Empathy**:
- *Do you believe that some animals deserve more empathy than others? Why?*
- *How do you feel when you see people treating animals with cruelty or indifference? Does it change how you think about your own food choices?*
### **Guiding Toward Resolution**
9. **Exploring Alternatives**:
- *Have you ever tried plant-based alternatives to meat? If so, what was your experience? If not, what has held you back?*
- *Would you be willing to explore a diet that aligns more closely with your values of caring for animals?*
10. **Reflecting on Values**:
- *What would it mean to you to live in a way that fully aligns with your values of compassion and nonviolence?*
- *How would you feel knowing that your dietary choices no longer contribute to animal suffering?*
11. **Considering Change**:
- *If you could continue to enjoy delicious and satisfying meals without harming animals, would you consider making a change?*
- *What do you think would be the biggest challenge in moving away from meat? How might you overcome it?*
12. **Personal Reflection**:
- *How do you think future generations will view the practice of eating animals? Do you think our society will move toward more plant-based diets?*
- *What would it mean to you personally to be part of a movement that reduces harm to animals and promotes a more compassionate world?*
These questions are designed to be reflective and non-confrontational, encouraging the person to explore their own beliefs and feelings without feeling judged or pressured. The goal is to foster a deeper understanding and create an opening for change.

Ed talking about MrBeast isn’t something I thought I’d ever see 😅
Neither did I 😅
Yeah... This wild
Why it’s impractical to tell everyone to go vegan ❌.
People in coastal areas , have saline soil… they can’t grow much veg food. For them what’s practical is fish 🐠
People in areas with heavy rainfall areas (tropical Vietnam), have damp soil… they can only grow rice, coconut, coffee. For them fish 🐠 & pigs 🐖 are more easy to breed & eat.
People in desert areas (Arab), have water scarcity… they can’t grow any vegetables…for them sheep, 🐑 goats 🐐 meat is easy.
People in snowfall areas (alps), for them meat from 🐐 , 🐑 , yak is easy
But people living in areas with river water beds, plateaus can have lot of water resources & fertile land… they can grow almost everything.
For a person in costal area, fish is a lot cheaper than vegetables & fruits.
People choose what’s local & budget friendly, not vegan friendly 🍃
Since it’s economically impractical for different geographical locations to import veg food from other regions, people will continue to eat local animal based products like dairy, fish & meat…
A nation is not run by fantasies, a nation runs by economics 🇬🇧

I'm pretty sure he already did in the past
What I found interesting about Mr. Beast was that he rescued a bunch of dogs then talked about eating chicken to help him loose weight? But he isn’t an anomaly because people that are not vegan picks and choose with animals deserve their life and which deserves to got into their gut. Being vegan you just respect everyone’s anatomy.
what does this have to do with any of the mr beast controversy? i feel like him not being vegan is the least of anyone's concerns

morals are subjective not objective which is why Kazakhs eat horses and Koreans eat dogs and Americans largely don't. It's same reason why veganism can't be justified on being a moral imperative because not everyone agrees with these morals.

The degree to which he leverages human suffering and desires, and the way this hooks viewers, seemed evidence enough to me from the start.
