Get a Moto Jug for long distance Summer riding. I took a 6000 miles trip in July last year and it was a game changer for me.

I have the Nomax on my Tiger 1200 and it works very well. I think the issue with the GS is definitely the shape of the tank. On the Tiger it is farther forward on the tank with the bend towards the rear of the bag. I’ve used it as a small back pack as well. I love it on the Tiger but I agree that I wouldn’t want it on the GS based on what your showing.

I think the waterproof is smaller than the gs you have.Good video with the information I needed to buy the gs tank bag. Thank you.

Glad the video helped....I like the waterproof bag but I wasn't fond of the opening of those bags so overall I am happy with what I bought...Dave

Hi Dave, thanks for the detailed video. How is it off-roading? Any issues with the handlebars touching when locking the steering on either side? It seems to be out of the way but curious to know the feel when doing heavier off-road.

No issues hitting the bars, with the strap mount you can move it around so the placement suits you very well. I tried to use it for Sport touring/Rally riding and I am on the clock, so to speak and it didn't work. This style bag opens with the lid toward you and I need it to open away from me. It works better when you try to access item while riding, at least for me. The design is great and the build quality is excellent...Dave

@@KendallAdventureandTravel I’m sorry about the confusion as I didn’t specify it in my question, I was asking about the SW motech not the Mosko Moto.

@@kinouillek Oh that could be my error, sorry. I love that thing. I am actually trying the day pack as we speak. I am in the middle of a break right now and need to get back on the road soon. The big SW Motech bag is nice, maybe a bit too big? It didn't hit the bars nor does it hit me, but I found that I didn't use all of the room that it has to offer. I love the quick lock ring, and the pockets on the outside, great design. I a trying the very small DAYPACK as we speak. It's good, if it was a little bigger, it would be perfect. I tried the "Trial" bag, it was slightly smaller than the GS, but not much different. Unless you carry allot of stuff in the tank bag there is room you will not use....Dave

@@KendallAdventureandTravel Perfect thanks a lot for the quick extra review on it. A friend of mine is giving me his SW for relatively cheap as my old Givi one is now unususable. I was debating feeling like the SW could be too big and was worried about it because of the way I use the GS. If it doesn’t touch the handlebar or the driver… the rest is in the head and I can deal with that. It is definitely on the bigger side and I don’t know yet how I will utilize that area but I have a few ideas. Once again I really appreciate your time Dave and am now a subscriber :). Cheers and happy riding.

MOSKO bags look functional but sloppy and messy looking…….I would never mount a MOSKO bag on my GS, especially since it sounds Russian and looks sloppy.
