- They're both BRAND NEW out of the box.
The one on the right is the defective one, which is disappointing considering the price of this fan!
If you hear this noise, STOP using it and contact Dyson to get it serviced. Feel free to use this video to explain the noise.

That happened to mine. Had the motor replaced as was in its years warranty

Do you have to pay for the shipping or they cover all of that?
Also, how long was the fan gone for?
