One mirror has a longer distance to do than the other, so it's not slower, it's just more "travel" time, almost every car is like that. I used the JDM motors in the USDM housing without any issues. JDM bases will bolt up, but the angle will be off, you'd have to set the mirrors to their limit just to be able to see, which is kind of dumb. The folding switch (window switch) is EDM.

(Also posted pictures) You rock, I'm so happy you made your thread and posted the link because I think this going to be doable!! I'm so excited! I asked this in the thread but did you use the JDM black mirror arms or did you use your OEM black mirror arms ontop of the jdm motors? That's one item I'm confused about.

​@@NewShockerGuy you can't use the JDM interior pieces (black mirror arm as you call it) since they don't fit in the USDM housing. That's why they're labelled "RHD RH" and "RHD LH" on the part itself. Like I mentioned earlier, you need to reuse your entire OEM housing and mirrors, just swap out the motor part. Also, check the harness on your OEM mirrors (the harness in the door not the the mirror), if you see 2 extra wires there that are in the door harness but the mirror itself doesn't have those 2 wires, then chances are, your car is pre-wired for power folding. Assuming that's where the blue and green wire are on the JDM mirrors.

@@Giorgio_Rampa Ah!! ok that's great news then!! That's what I was getting confused about. When I hear housing, I just think the painted exterior part and the black trim ring with bottom pieces. So the internals as well, thank you for the clarity! That's great actually! I will 1000% check the wiring. That's what I did with my 2020 RCF and found out that all the wires were there on the door harness but I was missing 2 wires on the actual mirrors themselves... Once I replaced the mirrors with the power folding and got a new window control switch everything worked when I pushed the fold in/out button! Super excited now, I'm so happy you did this and posted information on it! It's greatly appreciated! I will keep you updated. It's gonna be several weeks till I get everything in my hands. A little bummed I can't use the OEM switch, but it seems like on Aliexpress there are several "oem-ish" looking dash buttons that can be used. And those are 12v so it would be as simple as running the mirrors to those with your included wiring harness/relay diagram.

@@NewShockerGuy be careful with the aliexpress switches since it may fry your multiplex unit. Get OEM parts. Hopefully your car is pre-wired, because running the wires and the relays are a real pain!

The tonneau cover will only fly off if you have the wrong one or if you forgot to lock it. It makes sense why they didn't cover it under warranty. I made this video to save others, since the 5th gen cover LOOKS like it works but it DOESN'T on a 4th gen RAM classic.

The cover is what caused this to collapse. It's capable of holding a lot of snow without breaking a sweat. If you're paying close to ~$4,000 CDN for a gazebo, you shouldn't have to be putting extra tie downs. I'd understand if it's a gazebo that cost $1,000 CDN, but not at this price.

Totally agree with you! The tarp caused all of this but it's a tarp that they sell for this specific gazebo... I got a new one in place now and I don't plan on putting a tarp on it for the winter.

Yeah, but this is the only gazebo in the area that went down and it was also the only one with a cover... Lesson learnt, no cover for the new one

~75 KPH (46 MPH) winds that night. I contacted Sojag right after this happened, they sorted it out (took a lot of back and forth but it's done). Long story short, their own cover caused this whole thing to go down. The replacement that they sent is the Mykonos Double Roof, this should allow the air to get out if ever we get strong winds like that.

That's crazy I have 4 of them 8x6, 10x13, 12x16, 12x18 they never sent a tarp with any of them. I only have 1 that's not double roofed but it's protected. Non are secured to anything there to heavy, and I've had 50 60 mph gusts in illinois. Man I'm sorry that happen to you, should of made them send people to rebuild it. Good luck

@@TwistedReality69 the tarp is actually an accessory here, I bought it to prevent snow from going in there, but I didn't think this would happen to it. Lesson learnt not to put a tarp on the new one. They replaced it with another one and provided 80% off the new one, which is better than nothing.

They suck in winter (Quebec winters), so I had to get a dedicated set of snow tires (Nokian Hakka 9 studded). I would not recommend these tires, the Falken Wildpeak are similar in price and can handle the winter. I'll run them out til they're finished though, but disappointed. Nokian can't make a summer tire (or all terrain), they're amazing at winter tires though.

I didn't have any shaking issues. Check your engine mounts, could be one (or more) of them that gave out.

Invidia makes one for all the IS, theirs no USDM only from Invidia

@@ayy.mp4 oh lol!! The JDM tail lights have LED turn signals (USDM and CDM don't have that). It also doesn't have a side reflector.

What happens when you unplug the IACV? If the car shuts off, then your IACV is fine If nothing happens, then your IACV needs fixing/replacing

Yeah, you have to drill out the camera hole and the top hole. Aside from that, it fits fine (not perfect but the phone is still safe)

Hopefully it doesn't come down to that. It started working again today, but who knows when it will crap out again

@soccerdadau2940 it wasn't. The problem needs to happen at the dealer... they tried replicating the issue and it was working fine. I'm sure something is loose. I'll check it myself on the weekend because it's annoying that it comes on when it feels like it.

Is it possible that is not the IACV but, instead, some other else that actuate the IACV, like.. idk, a sensor?

@@antoniostorniolo7980 if it does what you see in the video, it's the IACV. I even bought a new one and it was defective. So lesson learnt not to cheap out on those parts.

@@Giorgio_Rampa i'm pretty sure i cleaner it very well, the valve that's inside the IACV flips like a brand new one, maybe is the "actuator" of the magnet, the one that's directly collocated on the IACV?

@@antoniostorniolo7980 it won't hurt to try another IACV. I thought I cleaned my properly as well and it wasn't. That's why I made this video to save others the time.

@@Giorgio_Rampa I found that is a vacuum leak in the PCV valve, i'm telling you this because I didn't find anything on yt about a vacuum leak on the PCV... So simple as underrated thing!

I realized now some folks can't see the description: Symptoms: Cold start = Idles at 3000 RPM Then the idle lowers as the engine gets warmer Once it gets to 1000 RPM, the idle will start to "bounce". It will go from 1000 RPM to 2000 RPM back to 1000 RPM back to 2000 RPM, over and over. Test: - Remove air intake (so you'll have access to the hole before the throttle butterfly valve) - Start the car - Wait for the bouncing idle to happen - Once the idle starts bouncing, block the hole (as shown in the video) If the idle still bounces, then it's NOT your IACV the problem If the idle STOPS bouncing, then it's your IACV the problem In this video, the IACV that's installed is a BRAND NEW Ultra-Power one, however it's faulty. So beware of aftermarket and if you do clean your OEM one, make sure it's done properly. If you cleaned it and it still has the bouncing RPM, try what I do here in the video (covering the hole before the throttle butterfly valve) and if it stops bouncing, then you didn't clean it enough/correctly.

What if the rpms go all the way down when u block the hole and they do not come back up when u rev the car up?

Their shouldn't be a gap. I have the right cover now on my 2022 Warlock and you don't see the light from the bed lights when the cover is on (meaning no gap).

It's normal (apparently), just a heads up, it gets worse with time. Phone is still usable but I would avoid a flip because of this.
