I have a full Simagic GT setup with their P2000 pedals and the HPR's on gas/brake pedals as well. Honestly, their gear is incredible, i couldn't be happier. My last setup was Fanatec gear, so it was a massive step up but gotta say, Simagic is hitting a sweet spot on price vs. quality.
They fit TLCM’s no problem?
I just recently made a new setup with all Simmagic gear. P1000’s with haptics, alpha mini and GT NEO. You are not going to beat their stuff for the price
Looking to upgrade all my fanataec gear, little by little ideally, do you know if you can use SIM magic pedals whilst using fanataec DD? I don't know how married into each other these things are
@@Mogzilla86 I'm honestly not 100% sure thought i don't see why not. There are many people using mixed setups, for instance, many folks think Heusinkveld are the gold standard for pedals and use those with all sorts of different wheel bases. As long as you have each connected via USB or input and both are able to communicate to the PC, don't see why it wouldn't work.
@@MikeBaloga thanks Mike! Gonna save me buying everything at once ❤️
I have been using these pedals for a week and agree with everything you said, great review and an awesome pedal set
The right haptic in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world
Such a great review Danny! 👏
I have had these for around 8/9 months, Previously owned the HE Sprints, laptimes was the same within a couple of tenths per lap so nothing really to be lost or gained here really choosing either, but ive been a long Buttkicker user well over a decade and currently own 2x Buttkicker Plus for my rig and Simhub, these make an absolutely wonderful addition to these + I have the Simagic Hydro handbrake with the Haptic also, my entire rig is just on fire with detail, the Simagic Alpha base I own shakes also with engine RPM, just outstanding stuff, regarding what you was saying I couldnt agree more, well tbh best review ive watched in ages👏 I own the Hydro brake + Throttle also on the P1000 + Simray and RGB heelstop, best pedals on the market at these prices!
Thanks so much for watching and commenting with great info about your setup. The buttkicker and HPRs go hand in hand together - the buttkicker is like a shower of vibration over the entire rig, whereas the HPR's are much more local and focused
They are constantly improving these. You have the new iteration that fixed the recessed screws in the pedal face that annoyed some people
Enjoyed the review, I’m deciding between these and VRS and your note about the P1000 being more enjoyable for your average racer just might sway me.
Great review, high quality as always.
I currently have the GT Neo steering wheel paired with CSL DD 8Nm + Elite v2 pedals.
Next switch is the Alpha wheelbase and further down the line (as TBH I really like the feel of the Elites) I think it'll be Simagic pedals too.
For haptics I'm using the Dayton bass shakers, once I got the settings dialled in they are great.
Thank you! I did have my eye on the GT Neo for sure.
Thanks for the video. Ive been using my p1000 2 pedalset for almost a year now and really love them to bits. However my only pedal experience where on some cheap Logitech pedals.
I haven't noticed that they're also offering that spring/elastomer set and did not bother about the haptic motors as I thought its just a costly gimmick.
I have just ordered 2 haptic motors, the required power supply and the spring-elastomer kit through my local distributor. Have a nice weekend 😇
Great stuff, where'd you buy from? Always looking to find out where folks typically go
@@dannyleeracing I bought it at simracer austria. Just a local dealer a view Kilometers from my place. 🥰
Hi Danny, I’m watching your video as I write this. I had to pause to let you know that your channel is quickly becoming my favorite. You do a wonderful job of explaining the product and expressing your feelings about it. My rig is very similar to yours, but I have the original pedal plate of the prime cockpit. Please tell me, what is that pedal plate on your rig?
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it - The pedal plate featured is GT Omega's new Adjustable pedal plate - I'm still putting them through their paces, but I'll have a review out on them soon. Long story short, though, if you have a genuine need to switch pedal positions then these are pretty decent, but if you never need to swap positions around then the standard prime pedal plate (profile version) is by far the more better and more solid choice.
@@dannyleeracing Thanks for the info. I will be ordering that upgrade soon. The p1000 are also in my near future. For now, I will continue with my V3’s.
Another great review 👍 Someone mentioned that the heel plate was a bit narrow, did you find this an issue at all? Do you know how deep it is by any chance?
Thanks man - I didn't have any trouble with the heel plate, it did the job for me just fine. But, whenever people comment about the ergonomics of things you can't really discredit them, we're all built a bit different
I got two HPRs attatched to TLCM pedals and while o paid same price for hprs as I did for the used pedals I am so happy with this setup. Total cost around £300.
Racing on Playseat Logitech, G920 and Quest 3.. its an absolute blast 😊
I am drooling all over Simagic Alpha mini with GT Neo, maybe one day….
How did you connect the haptics to your pc? Did you buy the control box meant for the 2000 pedals? I am looking to do the same on Simjack Pros.
@@wdodoo4707 yes control box and powersupply and USB A to USB B cable for PC
I feel spoiled that these are my first set of pedals.
This is great. Are the P2000’s just like the next level up or just a different look of the same thing? I’m about to invest in an upgrade after my Moza R5 bundle has hooked me on sim racing in the last few months. I’m seriously considering all Simagic.
Go for it
A week or so ago I upgraded from the clubsport v2's to the P1000i (inverted) and have not looked back. Also I have pretty much had the same experience. The hasptic should be ordered on Monday :)
I have these. Hydraulic brake is a must. Love them to bits
That's interesting to hear - I'm about to try the Invicta pedals which are the first hydraulic action pedals I'll have used. Maybe Simagic might offer the hydraulic upgrade so I can compare at some point
@@dannyleeracing I had the standard brake for half a year and the hydraulic upgrade staggering how much more control the upgrade gives you
Great informative vid. Will definitely be getting these for the rig I’m about to build. Also what Gtr to f1 adjustment jig you have on your rig?
It's GT Omega's new adjustment plates, still under review and putting them to the test
@@dannyleeracing thank you for the info.
Adding the hydraulic option makes those pedals even greater and more realistic!!
hydraulic for brake or throttle?
Thanks for another great review. I just got these and set them up last night. Do you happen to get a light vibration all the time, like feedback? Only when I’m using iRacing.
Do a search. This is a well documented Iracing settings issue.
Disable the 'vibrate wheel and pedals' option in iRacing's options menu
What effect config do you have on the clutch in SimHub out of interest?
I’ve just bought a set and can’t find a useful effect to apply to the clutch.
finally someone other than fanatic got that idea to do haptics
Are you setting the pedal plate parallel to the ground of is the camera effect? Because I am thinking about doing the same. I feel that the pedal are in a too much vertical position as I have it now
Hi! Can you please make a tutorial on how to set up the Butt Kicker with Sim Hub? I used to be able to set up wheel slip very well because, for me, it is the most important for driving on the limit. However, lately, I just can't get it to work, and there is a weird message saying iRacing doesn't support that effect. Also, if there is a way you could share the file for the settings you are using, it would be very nice 😊
For all the hate that the vibration motors on the Fanatec V3 pedals get, I think they're great and definitely way, way better than not having them at all. Sure, they're on the weak side, but I can still feel them through my Sim Hound shoes and adjust my inputs due to their outputs. These pedals look like a great upgrade, though...
I did a 12 hour solo nurburgring on the V3's and those little vibration motors gave my feet a nice lil' tickle to keep me focused
I own these with the haptics in a 2 petals set and I can't be happier with them. I do have some slight squeaking with the brakes. Now I think it's grease but I'm not sure but a black substance seems to collect on the brake shaft. A simple wipe with a towel solves the problem. It's a 9.9 out of 10. I can't recommend them more.
There's a grease tube in the box, so I'd imagine there's a need to grease 'em up after a certain period of time to avoid the squeakage. Thanks for chipping in your experience, it's really helpful to have real customer experiences
@dannyleeracing thank u.. mine did not come with grease, but I also got the first batch, and I got it from an american vendor. I did notice your version has a different/extra throttle spring. Mine did not come with one. That just tells me they have listened to customer feedback. I did not mention how good your review was so thank you.
My setup with Simgrade VX-Pro pedals currently consists of a Simagic Haptic unit on the brake which only does ABS, and a Buttkicker under my seat for all the other haptics. I am considering another Simagic Haptic unit for my throttle but I am not entirely sure I really need it as the buttkicker gives a lot of good information.
How are the VX-Pro im actually torn between P1000 and the VX-Pro
@@alen7174 Best pedals I've ever tried. Super smooth, adjustable from softer than Fanatec V3s to harder than Asetek Invictas (which I had and did not like at all). Adjustable travel length and second stage engagement. Highly recommended!
@@texnorthman Thanks for the info and fast response ^^
Hi. I have a Qestion: Is the second stage on the clutch "sound damped" or like their old one a loud metal on metal clunck? And how would you describe the noise from the rumble motors when you press the peddal and therefore stabilise it, when the ABS or traction control kicks in (not when you let it loose, like most YTers show/test them)?
Anyone compare these to the VNM V1's using the damper & performance bushings kit? I understand those pedals were the favorite of Boosted Media (2nd to the Active Pedals) and they have an adapter to fit the simagic haptic motors. Would love to know which is better.
I have the P2000 with the haptic motor add-ons. They work wonderfully: top end gear at an amazing value. Love Simagic!
Thanks for your input, maybe some day the P2000's will find their way under my feet, but good to hear from customers!
mine do not have the bar that goes through the elastomers or spacers and my elastomer and spacers do not have holes in them
How long ago did you buy it?
Same here. It must be quite new as well. My set is not even half a year old.
@dannyleeracing : I indeed strongly suggest you to check out the hydraulics on the breaks and the new option for the throttle pedal, it is a breeze when racing cars without TC and helps to get the car out of the corner.
Hi, I have a question? Does this Simagic haptic pedal reactor also work with PlayStation 5?
No, unfortunately it is PC only
Only thing i dont like is pedal travel with the hydraulic break very stiff and little travel other then that amazing pedals
What rig do you run?
It's a GT Omega Prime with the Adjustable Pedal Plate that they just released, putting it through a test now!
My pedals are great. My haptics are head aches. They dont feel the same and sound completely different. One chirps like a bird and the other wont shake depending on the strength it set to. I.e 20 or below =nothing.
Pedals 10/10
Haptics 5/10 probably cool if you get a working set.
