I have bought these based on this and another review, I only race on ams2 using simagic software. What I have found is the vibration is inconsistent. You may setup thinking that's the right strength and know the feel. Then the feeling can alter significantly feeling much less or more intense even feeling like the frequency has changed. I suspect it depends where the motor is relative to the commutator and brush given it's a normal DC brush motor being fed an AC signal The higher the frequency the more inconsistent it is. It's not a deal breaker but is a limitation of the motor style haptic. I have found keeping 30hz and below helps along with optimisation of the strength. I use slip, abs, wheel, spin and traction control. Still great for such a cheap item but I suspect this is the main difference between these and the more expensive ones. Just a little surprised it's not mentioned in the reviews.
The Neo shakers are great for the money but they are as entry level as it comes. I would suggest using simhub as your software it is more reliable and would give a more consistent result however I doubt it would be much more. Also it is best not run too many effects at once as you can imagine these shakers use a motor if multiple effects are going off at once it’s not possible for it to give signals to both effects simultaneously it will pick one over the other that’s what can cause confusion and different outputs when you are using the shakers. I would run only ABS on my brakes if I drive car without abs I will use wheel lock but when jumping back into car with abs I would have to switch off wheel lock otherwise you could have the little motor trying to give 2 different outputs at the same time.
Thank you very much for this informative review. I am strongly considering following your advice and combining the two motors for the upcoming Black Friday sales !
You are very welcome thank you for the kind feedback 🙌🏻 I am not sure if these Neo shakers will be on the Black Friday sale as they are already so cost effective but definitely some good deals to make you spend money on Black Friday that’s for sure 😅

Not sure that the Neo be great for curb effects with the motor but the normal shaker should be able to 🤔 I am using curb effects in simhub for dayton audio shakers and it’s amazing
@@TheSimCircuit yeah I bought both the Neo for the accelerator and then the larger one for the break. Looks like I’m gonna have to use Sim hub instead of Sim Pro. @@TheSimCircuit still not working for me l have control box and when install says p2000 haptic v1.2.4 not like u on v1.2.7
I had to do manual flash to get more settings but still on v1.2.4
@@johnletham4550 hey matey I am not sure 🤔 for me it was as easy as installing the software 🤷🏼♂️ did you get it working in the end?
@iz_nevez1114 settings->update->manual firmware pedals/p2000h folder if u have control box that worked for me have all settings now :)
A bit late, but yessssssssss!
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 appreciate you still watching matey 😊
is worth upgrading from the orginal haptic motors. To me these seem way better than the OG's
No matey I would not recommend buying these if you already own the originals. The original ones are definitely the better of the 2 but I was surprised at how responsive the new ones are especially at that price 🙌🏻
@@TheSimCircuit but if we are not thinking about price, what would you recommend? The new ones aren't faster?
@@alanorzechowski4419the Dayton Audio EX32VBDS-4 are amazing and cheaper than original hpr to buy but will cost allot more setting up with amps ect… and then knowing what to do and were to get profiles are the hard part. If you know all then it’s better for sure
if i uncheck vibrate wheel and pedals in iracing i get no feedback at all through pedal haptics
Might depend what wheel your using, check it and try again. Do you have Logitech or thrustmaster wheel?
@@TheSimCircuit i think i didnt setup simhub properly. i went straight to motor output without enabling effects profile
@@XxKABSxX agh yes that will do it. Effects always have to be on two places in simhub. My other video about haptics explains that if you still need some help 🙌🏻
Will this work on ps5
I have heard of guys running simhub on ps5 but I have not done myself 🤔
Will they work with inverted pedals?
Yes 🙌🏻
Mr Latte influenced video inbound me thinks...
Yes I ow Mr Latte more than one latte that’s for sure 🤩 he is amazing, would take me years & years to know half what he does about haptics & exciters so having him help a complete noob like me is amazing. The goal is to help everyone, hopefully I can be a small part of that 🤞🏼
@@TheSimCircuit I bought into the SimMagic agitators, but I think once I find a good mounting option for the Dayton BDS exciters on my Fanatec V3 pedals I will probably switch out to those. The RaceBass stuff Latte has is very interesting, I am close to pulling the trigger on amps and exciters for my seat as well. can't wait for the video should be enlightening for all.
Ok merci
🙌🏻
but thanks for review
& thank you for watching matey it’s appreciated 🙌🏻😉
Has any1 get a profile for Porsche cup car iracing? Eitha sumhub or simpro
I recognize a south african here
Jy weet nie wat ek weet nie 😂 Yes I’m South African 🇿🇦 guilty, thanks for watching Riaan
Hey, I have a profile. Just drop Strovich the founder a line
Hey matey thanks for sharing would love to try your profile where do I drop line lol?
Never actually says which one is better..
The original is better however I think the Neo shakers does an excellent job considering the price. Because you can mix and match these my advice would be to get 1 original for brake then 2 Neos for the clutch and throttle 👍🏻
If you turn them 90 degrees, then they will work well. you can make them. Its nothing new. But the only good thing that they look like a music instrument. 😂
Turn what 90°? The shaker? The mount includes in kit does not allow to mount them like the old HPR’s
how come it only costs 16 dolars if the previous one was 69?
Hey matey this one is designed to be a more budget option. Build quality is good but made of plastic rather than aluminium & it uses motors to generate the vibrations. The motors are a more cost effective option but probably only provide about 60-70% of the strength of the original HPR in my experience 🙌🏻
@@TheSimCircuit that makes sense! I am just about to order two older version motors.
idk about this haptics but p1000 FRS is sucked pedals replace it with VRS never look back , btw can't even sale p1000 nobody is interested in marketplace 😂😢😢
I have tried many pedals but not the VRS ones yet so can’t make a comparison. I do like my p1000 but yes I will never get close to the $ I paid for them 🤦🏼♂️
@@TheSimCircuit I keep it both cause no chance to sall it
Hello! Do they work with F1 24?
Hi matey, as far as I know they do work on F1 24 for Pc 🙌🏻
