  • @Chader9
    @Chader9 Месяц назад +1

    I get that pedal placement is highly individual and personal preference is what it is... but referencing F1 and open wheel cars a reason for wanting the throttle and brake further apart is odd. Considering the shape & size of the nose cone on those cars, when you view the actual pedal spacing on them, they are extremely close together in every case I have seen. Just do a quick image search and see that most of them are no further than a few centimeters/inches apart.

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  Месяц назад

      Yes matey exactly what I meant, in formula cars the brake and throttle pedal about a foot away from each other unlike traditional cars or gt cars where the brake and throttle are separated by couple inches. I am also twice as wide as any F1 driver so I need 2 foot between my pedals 😂 it’s all personal preference in sim racing I am definitely at the comfort comes first stage of my sim journey 🫣

    I just bought a set of these pedals after watching your video. They arrived and everything looked good however, to your point I need spacers in order to mount the pedal plate to my rig as the bottom is not flushed because of the bolts from break and throttle. That being said, do I need to purchase longer M6 bolts in order go beyond the spacer, pedal plate and rig? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Really want to mount them but would like your thoughts first. Thanks again for all the great videos.

      Hey matey I know the screws are a bit annoying sticking out of pedal plate. I actually used spacer I had lying around. But what I would suggest is get some metal washers and stack them then use a longer screw, this solution will be very solid. Bit annoying but you only have to do it once or until you buy other pedals 🙌🏻

  • @lucalee1166
    @lucalee1166 Месяц назад +2

    This pedals has a few parts that need to be modified.
    First of all, the thickness of stainless steel in the part connecting the brake loadcell sensor must be increased.
    When you push hard with hard elastomer, the connection bends.
    Second, the maximum travel of throttle is slightly shorter.
    That's why most people put it to the maximum and use it.
    Third, it's a little annoying to replace the elastomer.
    Fourth, Please comment about the inconvenience of this pedals.
    Then The OWNER of this video channel will check and demand improvement to Seller.🤣
    Let's make an opportunity to have an increasingly advanced pedal at a reasonable price.

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  Месяц назад

      I will have a look at the connection between loadcell, no point in having 200kg sensor if you can only use some of it. I did however run the black elastomers 70ha and had no problem. I would like to test these with 90ha and possibly some spacers to replace one of the 3 elastomers. If not for that rod that needs removed changing elastomers would be fast and easy a bit of an annoying extra step. In my experience the difference in travel in throttle is allot I personally dont think that needs improved.
      Thanks for watching matey it appreciated I will actually make sure to forward these suggestions to the person I was dealing with 🙌🏻

    My problem with the simsonn pedals is that the throttle has a kind of play or delay. This means that I accelerate, press into the pedal and when I press 3-4 centimetres nothing happens. But this is only the case with ACC or AC. It's not like that in Iracing where you have to adjust the pedal manually. Everything also works when calibrating in Freejoy. Only in Acc,Ets 2 our Ac is this error the same, so that I feel I have to press half the accelerator pedal to get a throttle input

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  Месяц назад +2

      Yes matey, 200kg loadcell does not mean you need 200kg to use the pedals rather that is the max amount of force you can use on them before the censor does not recognise any more pressure.
      So when you calibrate your pedals in the software you determine how hard you want to push and that is then saved to the pedals circuit board so the pressure is the same every time you use your pedals or until you recalibrate them after say changing elastomers or springs.
