I am certain there are thousands of sim racers that will out race me with this handbrake of that I’m sure lol so yea, you can make use of this handbrake. I just think for the money the Moza one will give more people a better experience. I don’t make any money of any of these recommendations btw it’s just my opinion. Thank you for watching 🙌🏻
There are guys who are top rank in that game with just a keyboard and mouse lol. I have some pretty decent times since using an Xbox controller for the last 10 years. Skill will beat all equipment!
I agree, you have to calibrate it with the spring inside it. Not in software. takes a bit of fiddling but mines perfect. I could use it as a PTO clutch if I had to.
I own Simsonn New Pedals which is just a rebrand of Simjack and they are excellent and their customer support is very fast to reply to your questions. I paid 300 aud for a full set without the plate versus 1500 aud that the high end branded versions cost. Honestly impressed and months later they work like a charm still.
Unless you willing to pay 700 aud I don’t think you will be getting much better pedals. These really surprised me. Thanks for watching matey it’s much appreciated 🙌🏻 hope you get tons of wins with them Simsonns 😜
found the same Simsonn pedals on amazon 3X pedals plate ,base and multiple springs elastomers for $500 CAD , i think we both are going to enjoy these 😁
I bought one of those hand brakes from aliexpress but I replaced the sensor with a hall-effect sensor and an arduino and added a spring to the setup and it feels great. Spring cost $4, arduino cost $4 and the hall effect sensor cost 20 cents.
Damm I need to get more handy but when I try I just get my hands on a beer and give up 😂. I find it amazing when people can buy something and mod something on that product for little money and vastly improve it. 🤯 makes you wonder why it’s not done by manufacturers first time round 🤔
Isn't that what they come with though? Like I had one that was recognized by my pc as "tinyduino" or something and the sensor is just a Magnet moving in front of a hall effect sensor. Like why replace them with pretty much identical stuff???
the center bolt on the plate side is for adjusting out the dead zone on the hand brake and they sell a better spring for a couple dollars then the hand brake is fine
Yea definitely can't complain about customer service because there is none 😆 but yea even on ali express I recommend buying from a popular brand. I know simsonn has a 1 year warranty on almost all thier gear.
I've had my eye on the Race Logic but I wish the 2 lights on the top were actually LEDs, not just part of the screen. I feel like they would be way more visible if they used LEDs in that spot.
Im getting moza handbrake. One reason being resale value. Simrigs are often like a hot potato, you either update or dont use it and end up selling. I don't want a Frankenstain rig with random parts I have to throw in the bin after an update.
100% agree matey resale value is definitely something to consider, branded products hold value much better. My rig has like 20 different brands 😆🤦🏻♂️ so not that brand loyal to be honest
Been using that handbrake for years. I find it great. You can also change the preload, I think it's via the big bolt at the back if I remember correctly. I also changed the springs in mine to stronger springs and got a bunch of different lengths and strengths (colors) to experiment with since the springs are so cheap on ali and eb. Fantastic. Heck, you can even buy some cheap bushings / elastomers and use them instead of springs. All for crazy cheap. I can't imagine spending more than this price on a handbrake even though I have a Simucube 2 Pro and Heusinkveld Sequential shifter.
Opinions have been very mixed regarding this handbrake. Some said it works perfectly and other said it broke after a week or two. I do think there are loads of manufacturers who sell this exact design of handbrake so quality can be different among all of them. I will look at the handbrake again in a future video as I got loads of little tips from viewers on how to improve it. I have about 8 handbrakes here and prefer every single one of them above this Ali one 🤷🏼♂️ just my opinion it’s not to say that the Ali one won’t make others very happy 🙌🏻
I got a bunch of Q1R knockoffs from Ali and love them. I think I ended up with 4 QR’s for around $130 and they are rock solid on the VRS. Also bought the SRS shifter for around $100 and it’s great. 👍
2:28 i can replace a bit of grip tape. I can use a racelogic vr overlay, or the phone version like you suggest. The pedals look great, i would consider changing my CSL pedals for those. Primo gear prices make me do a little mouth sick.
🙌🏻🙌🏻 thanks for watching matey. Just a heads up SimJack have a new revised set of pedals (SimJack UT) they cost slightly more than these but definitely worth the $20-30 more
Few people telling me they running the handbrake and it does the job. If you can get it properly calibrated then maybe not a bad shout for the price. Someone else told me they modified theirs and it’s much better for like $8.
Yea the real cheap ones I would avoid, you do get what you pay for even on Ali. I seen few handbrake priced around €80 on AliExpress and I think from seeing user submitted reviews they must be half decent but for similar money I would say go with the Moza one it’s surprisingly well made for price and comes with few extra springs and elastomers to adjust to your liking 👍🏻
I watch this after some time (11 montch it was in my first page) I can tell you for that what it's floor for you for others can be a ceiling. If someone give me this hand brake I will be grateful! (as I don't have any) if mechanically it work fine, grip you can easily exchange, probably with electronics it will be more difficult but maybe you can mechanically adjust arm and then much bigger movement will be from 0 to 100%. I would love to test that pedals - but do you know it will work vitch fanatec, or Logitech in to Xbox 1 setup or you need PC? If you can send this hand brake to EU I can try to modify this and test but first I need buy some Fanatec base with Xbox wheel. nice review!
You will get there my friend. Took me many many years to get my rig where it's now. You don't need everything or the best of everyone to have fun 🤷🏼♂️ even a cheap logitec setup is better than no setup 🙌🏼
Sorry for bugging you again 🙏 but really importantly how do i plug in and control those Simagic shakers on those Sim Jack pedals?? I really must do something like this unless you know a cheaper way without an external amp sound card?
No problem at all matey, you buy the control box I will link below. You can buy from loads of places this link is my local sim reseller. www.raceanywhere.co.uk/collections/simagic/products/p2000-hcb-haptic-reactor-brackets
My son use that handbrake to drift in assetto corsa, and he's very happy with it. You didn't really do a great job explaining why it is bad except for that you think the handle won't last long. I'm not saying your wrong, just that you didn't explain why it's bad. I think it´s okay for what it is, but I haven't used it much myself, just going by what my son tells me.
Later in video I show how the handbrake goes from 0 to 100 in space of about an inch. Even after calibrating it, this means you have very little control on the handbrake, you can’t moderate how much input you want it’s either nothing or full. Using a button instead of handbrake would work in similar manner. If all you need is to get the wheels to lock up then this will work 100% but if you need to be accurate with your handbrake input then I definitely don’t recommend this handbrake. Also note that there are about 20+ people who sell this handbrake & they all look the same but might not actually be the same 🤷🏼♂️ the pedals i show here is branded (SimJack) so even thou they bought of AliExpress there is still some sort of brand association but the handbrake does not have name/brand so I personally would look for something with a brand attached to product even when buying from ebay or AliExpress 🤷🏼♂️

@TheSimCircuit I got the oddor gear. It's actually very good yeah. Uses hall effect sensors. And is fairly well refined compared to other ebay shifters. Definitely think It's worth it
I´ve got the Simonn Pedal Set..about 200€ Still work fine...Elastomere were crap and the calibration via Diview is crap...so after 6 month i changed the electronic box to a heusinkveld and now all is fine...even with the upgrade kit it costs 200 bucks less thant VRS or HE Sprint..so. good buy
🙌🏻 I ran HE Sprints for a long time and they are amazing but I needed more than 65kg on the brake. If you take the price difference in consideration then these pedals are great. Thanks for watching & your input matey it’s appreciated 👍🏻
Cheers matey 🙌🏻 I got a GoPro mount with 1/4 thread for back of simlogic. If you want a closer look sure send me a msg Facebook, insta or email and I will send you a photo 🙌🏻

Aliexpress simsonn and simjack u cant go wrong for the price its crushing the mainstream competition in value for what fit\finish bragging rights? Idk everyone do u but i wanted to share Aliexpress is all over my rig.. and ive had zero issues so far ..which is shocking.
100% agree with you 🙌🏻 and I am happy to hear so many people running their Ali gear for 2 years plus and no issues. Thank you for watching & your input matey 👍🏻
Wow 4 years definitely worth it. I will look at handbrake again I have some that say it lasted days others years but also I think thats because there are allot of places making these. They might all look similar but I’m sure they are not built exactly the same 🤔
@@TheSimCircuitthey're all different. Mine started losing connection after years of use so I ordered another one and the handbrake is exactly the same but the pcb and how it's mounted is totally different. So far it works the same though.
I have that handbrake and similar pedels from Simmson. Love them both. On the pedels though I used springs instead of elastomers as I found that the springs are more consistent with pressure. The elastomers feel like there is air in the lines and I verified it though the calibration software. You can see if you hold the pressure on the pedal, the elastomers let up off some pressure on their own and you have to apply more pressure with your foot to keep the same amount.
Yes elastomers will always have some play. Depending on the quality & stiffness of the elastomers you could see allot or little play in holding brake pressure. Try a spring and elastomer combo if you can, I find it’s perfect compromise between precise brake and good pedal feel 🙌🏻
Hopefully was not me 🤦🏻♂️ you can still buy the sim jack pro pedals for under 200 i think 🤔 but yea simsonn and simjack has new pedals out with loads of improvements so I guess they upped the price a little. Thanks for watching matey 🙌🏼
Has anyone bought the simagic pedals from ali express? They are almost the same price as from simrigs. They are made in China, so wondering if they are the same as real ones.
Hey matey I have word back directly from SiMagic and they don’t sell anything on Ali Ecpress and don’t have a partner or retailer that sells on Ali Express on their behalf. So I would avoid the SiMagic stuff on Ali. Here is link they provided to their approved retailers. en.simagic.com/experience?typ=0
Thanks man 🙌🏻 yes I’m South Africa those pedals are great for the money. I actually had the Simsonn pro pedals delivered today that’s also from Ali Express. Will start reviewing them next week 🙌🏻
Getting mixed reports on the handbrake, some good & some bad but you are the 3de person to say their handbrake broke so yea for the price is kinda a gamble I guess
I have seen people do DIY versions and 3d print the case, i however don’t possess the skills or knowledge to DIY something like it. Also the aluminium case makes it look super sleek and the wire that connects to the unit looks and operates much like the real thing. I am very handy in DIY home improvements but with computers & electronics I have allot to learn 😬
I will look at it again in a future video but what I have come to realise is that this particular handbrake is made and sold by loads of different manufacturers so you might have one from a manufacturer that done a good job 🤷🏼♂️ I have had very mixed reports about the handbrake that makes me believe this is the reason why. The one I have is not good compared to 7 other handbrakes I have here. I will however make some tweaks to it like others have suggested and try it again in a future video 😉
Buy crap get crap. Sure you can use crap but its sooooo much better to drive with quality equipment. Everyone starts with cheap, like me, and when they try a quality piece they realize what a difference it makes
That’s it! buy cheap buy twice as they say. The likes of the pedals are actually better than most entry level pedals on the market from big brands. Unless you paying $350 plus don’t think you will find much better 🤷🏼♂️
I have that handbrake. Achieved
6 top 100 positions in Richard Burns Rally, with that thing. You don't need much more, still works fine after 2 years

I own both the sim jacks don't work with forza games or any windows store games for me and I still can't get the break right on the sim jacks after buying lots of elastomer to try get it right .I would get the tlc m if I did it again
Hey there! Do you have a link to the Simlogic screen? I can't seem to find it. Great stuff!
Hey matey thanks for watching. Link below to exact one I bought but seems to be sold out atm 🤦🏼♂️

I got H-pattern, handbrake, and sequential shifter from ebay or ali express.
I am looking an H pattern 🤔 what did you get? Good job so far?
Another great video! Curious, how did you mount your Simlogic to your rig?
Cheers matey 🙌🏻 I got a GoPro mount with 1/4 thread for back of simlogic. If you want a closer look sure send me a msg Facebook, insta or email and I will send you a photo 🙌🏻
@@TheSimCircuit I just sent you a facebook message and also included my email. Thanks for providing that....Cheers!
Neewat bra daai pedels kan gooi,
The only problem is that the shipping to ZA is cost more than the Item itself so sad..
@@TheSimCircuit ek sal jou email stuur

Im making the rounds on these videos ( incase u seen me commenting haha ) to share yes they are good.
Ye I posted a vid a week ago of complete DIY if you want to check it out!@@TheSimCircuit
ive got a cheap aliexpress hand brake going on 4 years now. no problems at all with it.
You must have broken Ali, because the Simsonn pedals are now $250 USD for the full set of 3. :/
Hopefully was not me 🤦🏻♂️ you can still buy the sim jack pro pedals for under 200 i think 🤔 but yea simsonn and simjack has new pedals out with loads of improvements so I guess they upped the price a little. Thanks for watching matey 🙌🏼
Love these peddles
For the money I don’t think they can be beaten 🙌🏻
Has anyone bought the simagic pedals from ali express? They are almost the same price as from simrigs. They are made in China, so wondering if they are the same as real ones.
I have seen seen SiMagic on Ali Express also but I can’t confirm that they are 100% legit I will find out and let you know.
Hey matey I have word back directly from SiMagic and they don’t sell anything on Ali Ecpress and don’t have a partner or retailer that sells on Ali Express on their behalf. So I would avoid the SiMagic stuff on Ali.
Here is link they provided to their approved retailers.

@@TheSimCircuit Ahhhhh, cheers for replying, I ordered legit ones and received them last Wednesday. Amazing pedals.
@@nathancadgreat 🙌🏻 hope they bring you hours of fun & loads of wins 🤩
Damn I gotta have that race logic replica
Worth every penny in my opinion but try your smart phone in the meantime it is very responsive I can’t see any noticeable delay

Nice video. Sold me on the pedals 🙃 you South African?
Thanks man 🙌🏻 yes I’m South Africa those pedals are great for the money. I actually had the Simsonn pro pedals delivered today that’s also from Ali Express. Will start reviewing them next week 🙌🏻
hand brake was broken after 3months
Getting mixed reports on the handbrake, some good & some bad but you are the 3de person to say their handbrake broke so yea for the price is kinda a gamble I guess
Its better and cheaper to DIY that Racelogic
I have seen people do DIY versions and 3d print the case, i however don’t possess the skills or knowledge to DIY something like it.
Also the aluminium case makes it look super sleek and the wire that connects to the unit looks and operates much like the real thing. I am very handy in DIY home improvements but with computers & electronics I have allot to learn 😬
South African accent ?
Ja 😂
Nice Boet. Loving your content@@TheSimCircuit

You are completely wrong about the handbrake!
Whoa I tell you what mate you're fartin sparks!
Not sure if that's an insult or compliment but thanks I guess 🙌🏼
you sound south african?!
Ja bra 😂 from the burg… joburg 😂
If i want cheap chinese products i buy straight from Fanatec
Everything is basically made in china!! Do some research buddy 😂😂🤣
😂 shots fired but the fanatec gear ain’t that cheap 🤔
Buy crap get crap. Sure you can use crap but its sooooo much better to drive with quality equipment. Everyone starts with cheap, like me, and when they try a quality piece they realize what a difference it makes
That’s it! buy cheap buy twice as they say. The likes of the pedals are actually better than most entry level pedals on the market from big brands. Unless you paying $350 plus don’t think you will find much better 🤷🏼♂️
