It’s December 2023 and just purchased a D 750 and can’t wait to it.Great video.
Just picked up a brand new D750 today for $996 from B&H, Black Friday deal. It's my first DSLR and I can't wait to get to try it out. Thanks for such an informative video!
Same! Although not my first DSLR, but i wanted to upgrade from my DX nikon d5500 to a FX
Providing a table of contents to the video is fantastic!!!! I've owned the D750 for 18 months and still have questions on specific topics. You two are an amazing resource. Thank you!
Funny, I bought the D750 in Dec 2014, however, I've been limping along with it in aperture/shutter modes, discovering things as I go. Just this weekend decided to "officially" educate myself. In the process, I discovered Tony and his vast resources, which has been immensely helpful. I watched all the D750 overview/unpacking/user manual type videos FROM 2 YEARS AGO. Then, ironically, I get notification of Tony's rendition. Extremely apropos! The best introduction of the D750 by far. Thank you Tony!
Just bought my Nikon D750 yesterday ( yes, I found it better even in 2019 after watching a lot of reviews, experience & also by considering the budget in hand). This is a very detailed tutorial & explained most of the questions I had. Thanks !
I love this camera, I really wish I could like this video twice, the amount of effort put in to make this video, I really honestly appreciate it and I love your channel! Thanks again!
Here's the Table of Contents. NOTE: What I call Precise Spot Metering is actually Highlight-weighted metering, described here: www.nikonusa.com/en/learn-and-explore/article/i4pecefz/using-the-highlight-weighted-metering-mode.html. Sorry, my mistake!

Amazing everything Nikon has packed into these digital wonders , I've used cameras for fifty years the tutorial reveals all the new stuff thanks Tony
I´m a d750 user too, started 2 months ago. Now, after 5000 pics i decide to learn more, because I don´t have too much nice picture. Thanks you Tony for this proffessional material. Long life :)
Thank you Tony & Chelsea! I just bought this camera I learned a few things that I didn't know this camera can do. You guys always have information I am looking for my photography needs. Keep all the awesome job you are doing! Cheers!
dawit dejene they are so helpful and detailed and "objective" in all their videos. They deserve to be paid for their constancy. I'll buy from them surely, just I'm Canadian I have to watch out for the import fees.
Came back to watch again after a year or so. Still learning the ins and outs of my camera. You guys rock.
Tony, I bought my camera a year ago, and was intimidated by all of its capabilities, and how much I don't know. I have watched this video several times, and I now feel so much more confident! I have learned SO much from this video, and I really appreciate it. Now that I am on the way to mastering the camera, I can take better advantage of my SDP book.. THANK YOU!!!
I am just upgrading from my D3500 to the D750 (I’m keeping both). This was absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much!
Ahh I’m about to upgrade from my d3400
Thank you SO MUCH for this video!! I'm watching it for the third time because there is so much gret information. Just bought the camera yesterday, and your video is making it less intimidating! Can't wait to check out all of the extra videos that you reference on here. The best part is that you explain so well--why and how--and make everything easy to understand; you're not talking "over my head".
Just want to say, I have taken and listened to literally thousands of speakers and courses in my occupation which is extremely technical. It was an unexpected pleasure listening to you! Not only are you a clear and consise speaker, but in the over an hour tutorial, the was not one AHH, or UMM which alway's drives me crazy. Great job!!!!!
Thanks Tony! I have just brought this camera and I am loving it! Low light capabilities are just amazing. Ignore the knob ends who are moaning about the camera being 2 years old it is still one of the best and most popular SLR's! Thanks again!
I know some people are just complaining about this video being too late, but just wanted to say thank you. There are still people buying the camera today(I bought it recently) that this tutorial will come in handy for or maybe somebody who's had it for a short time and would rather watch a video tutorial than read a boring manual. Thanks, keep up the great work.
That was an unbelievably helpful and I enjoyed watching to the end. Bought the D750 a month ago and was struggling to understand the menu settings. Thanks a million.
Hello Tony. Am Mwiti from Kenya. I got my D3400 about 3 years back. To get started and get shooting, it's your Tutorial that was most useful....I recently upgraded to the D750 and again, your Tutorial (this one) was the most helpful.
Much Thanks. GOD Bless
Thank you SO MUCH for putting this together! I am a visual learner, and this just makes learning my new camera so much more enjoyable.
Thanks Tony (and Justin). Now that Nikon have sorted out the camera's various technical issues, and the price has dropped a little, there must be a lot of people who have recently bought or are thinking of buying one, and will appreciate your comprehensive and entertaining tutorial.
Tony, you are the man! Thanks for giving the people what they want.
Thanks for putting this out! I know it's an old camera, but I just got one two weeks ago, so the timing couldn't have been better for me. I love the WANDERLUST series! The level of production is incredible! You must be getting big network offers by now. Don't forget us!
Thank God for this guy. I've learned a lot about my new camera. I was lost and not into reading the manual. Going to buy his books now. Thanks for making this video!
Great video! I watched this several times before purchasing the D750. Also, I really appreciate all of the informative videos that you post on your website. After watching a few, I bought your book, which as a ton of really useful information in it. I've been shooting photos for quite a few years, mostly in auto mode, and I decided that it was time to become a better photographer. Thanks again for all of the videos and information.
I just wanted to drop a comment and say thank you for doing tutorials and videos. I appreciate you doing this for free. You don't have to obviously, but here you are doing it for free so what it's worth, thanks.
Thanks for the great tutorial. Even though I've owned this camera for awhile, and I use it frequently, I learned a few things from this video.
Thank you so much Tony (and Chelsea) for such a detailed, thorough and clear explanation of the D750 :)
Really nice presentation, and nice to spend 1/5 hours with you, Tony. You're a very good and thorough teacher. Thanks for your time.
Thanks for making this about the D750. Been working my way through it slowly, correcting & improving my bad habits & discovered some new things. Kudos :)
I just upgraded to a D750 from a D7000. Awesome information here, Tony! Thank you for the excellent information.
Tony and Chelsea give so much to photography and the art and science that make us better. Tony is exceptional in his creativity providing for the rest of us who are under no compunction to buy anything he sells so much value for free. Yes, he plugs his work, as he should, and because he gives so much for free, I will make sure where possible I will buy so he receives a small pittance for his incredible effort at making all of us better. As a couple, Tony and Chelsea (Chelsea in other videos) are engaging and entertaining playing off each other to our advantage. Congratulation, and as always, great work.
I cannot thank you enough. I've had this camera for a while but you've taught me tons. Don't eve stop teaching; you are an excellent instructor. Thank you!
You're welcome, and thank you!
Just purchased my Nikon d750. This was the tutorial of choice that I wanted to learn from. Thanks Tony
Man I'll be getting it too for my first full frame
I also thinking switch from canon 6d.
Thanks Tony and Chelsea! Your presentation is priceless. I had questions, then you intuitively answered them.
I just moved up to the D750 from the D5300 and WOWWWW!!!, what a wonderful piece of hardware. This camera is freaking AMAZING! Couldn't justify the D780 and the D850.....well, I like my happy home! ;-) I went through the manual and have most of the the settings configured and remembered, but this video is still helping a lot as a refresher. I will absolutely be going to check out some of the web site pages as well. Still need to get the digital photography book. It's on my list. Ramping up this photography effort and your videos are a huge helper. Tnx
Got my D750 about 6 months ago. This is great Tony! Thank you
As always excellent advice for both the camera and other items. Never stop learning is my motto.
Again Thank you for sharing for free your experience and knowledge.
This video is great! Thank you so much for saving me the pain of having to go through the manual of the camera. 1,5 hours later and i know everthing about my camera!!:):)
Thank you so much for this amazing video. I appreciate the helpful info you went over. I’ve had this camera for 2 years, and this is the first time I feel l can control it. Thank you! 😊😊
Such a great Tutorial.
I was such a beginner and now I know almost all the basics of my camera. Thumbs up!
Excellent video, Tony, and I really enjoy all of your videos. Chelsea cracks me up with her humor. Really well thought out and executed as always. I've studied up hard on my D750 and you still told me at least 3 things I didn't know about this body.
I've had my D750 since August 2016, and I absolutely love it. The D750 received some bad press with 1 or 2 issues that arose, but Nikon corrected the issues. I purchased my camera after the issues had been worked out, so I didn't have to send my camera in, and my camera does not have the black dot in the tripod mount hole, so it's a newer manufactured camera, not that it really matters.
Anyone thinking about purchasing this camera, I believe you'll be very pleased with it. Lastly the knowledge brought forth by Chelsea, and Tony is extensive and brilliant. Thank you both for your contribution to photography.
Got Stunning Digital Photography! Very nice. Also, you are very generous with all the free information. I bought my D750 in 2018, and haven’t used it much recently. I know the basics, but you’re showing me a number of things I wasn’t aware of. And just discovered I needed to adjust my diopter! Thanks!
Sorry it took you guys more then 2 years to make this but as they say better late then never, I own this camera since Nov 2014 so I will be happy to learn more about it just in case I missed something. Thanks Tony :)
I stumbled across this. It's a great tutorial. In fact it's the best I've seen on the D750. Thank you!
I've had my camera for over a year. Most of the basic stuff I knew, but got some neat little tips out of this that I didn't pick up (or just didn't remember) from the manual and other sources, as well as some great links to other videos to watch. I found Tony engaging - I am notorious for zoning out when watching stuff and picking up my phone and doing other stuff, but I felt like I was having a personal conversation with someone that wasn't pretentious and just wanted to share some really great info.
Thanks a million, I have watched several of your videos on new products I've bought and they are by far the most well done on the web of all the ones I watched. I sure hope you make money doing this because its a great service to the community, will definitely go through your link to purchase on Amazon.
I just bought this camera 2 days ago. The tutorial has perfect timing lol.
I upgraded to this camera a couple months ago from a D80! Quite the upgrade! Thanks for this video.
Fantastic Tutorial, thanks so much Tony! Much better than reading the manual. Superb.
Thus was the best video on my Nikon D750 I have ever watched Clear, Concise, strait to the point great examples of why and where Thank regards Warwick
You are my go-to channel for photography. I've learned a lot from you. Really appreciate your FAA test tutorial also!
Great tutorial---took my new d750 out of the box and followed along--thank you!!
Tony, thanks so much. I just purchased the d750 and this tutorial was great. I’ll be checking out your book too. Thanks again and you rock.
Thankyou Tony. Finally found the time to sit, watch and take down notes today! Thanks again.
Hi Tony. I too wanted to add 'Format Memory Card' to My Menu. It turns out that the reason you can't is because you don't need to. The card in slot 1 will be reformatted if you press and hold the exposure mode button and the trash button together until 'For' shows in the viewfinder or 'Format' shows on the information display, then release them and press them together again.
You have talents, passions and charming personalities.....What a great presentation !!! Heartfelt Thanks to you Tony ....
Tony & Chelsea thank you for your great tutorials.
Great timing there Tony, just picked one up today! Thanks
Thanks so much, this tutorial is really brilliant and has helped me to understand my camera since I received it a year ago.
I just want to say thank you for all the good videos and advice. I purchased your book stunning digital photography. I also ended up buying the Nikon d750 after researching tons of cameras possibly going mirrorless and ended up going with a used one from B&H Photo. I've been into photography for a long time but this is my first full frame and I am extremely rusty, but watching and reading your material is helping tremendously. The extreme professionalism in yalls videos is insane and I truly appreciate it.
Sorry people are dissing you for publishing this quite awhile after the D750 came out. I'm just about to buy one and am really happy you created this. Thank you. :-)
Excellent tutorial. The basics, even for an advanced body, never hurts and those who don't want to watch can fast forward. I was surprised by your suggestion of the Ving flash as you previously recommended the Yongnuo. Thanks for your work on these videos. Keep it up.
Just got my own d750. This video helped me so much! Many thanks from germany! :)
Thank you for a tremendous video. As a novice and feeling overwhelmed with the camera, you broke it down simply! Thank you!! Looking forward to looking at others. Will be subscribing! Thanks again.
You're welcome! Enjoy.
I have seen many tutorials for this camera and I can tell that this is the most didactic one I have seen. I have got lazy with my iPhone camera but Tony thanks to put me back serius with photography.
your channel is amazing. I discovered it recently, I am learning a lot, information is vast and clear. Thank you.

GREAT TUTORIAL, GREAT TEACHER, TO THE POINT! THANKS, TONY.
I know most part of the camera but I just like hearing you speak it again. Like your review.
This was a great tutorial. Was not aware of camera shake using 10 second timer mode! This explains some not so sharp tripod pictures I have taken!
Thank you Tony, your tutorial is priceless!
My god. Back button focus. I love it. All thanks to this vid. I love it so much I just bought your book.
Loved the simple way to start your D750. Big thanks !!
Good , great , fantastic tutorial , inspiring- with a good instructor .
After buying this camera a few month back , which was a good investment, after buying a few lens, now im going to try out a 20 mm 1.8 nikon lens which is suppose to rock.
Photography is actually a healthy hobby, business , because you are pretty much always on your feet or moving around.
Hi, Tony. Great effort in making this video. Thank you very much. Love your work man :)
Hey Tony. Thanks for this video. I know that this model is not so new but it is very popular and it is the entry point for FX; thus, many people still buying it and can benefit from this tutorial.
