It was filmed at a US location in the southwest in 1968. LBJ wanted no part of the hoax and ordered it not be done on his watch. Nixon thought it was distract the public from the huge loss of American soldiers lives in Vietnam, reported nightly on the news. It did not. Nobody paid attention.

The speech was satire. Few caught that. He was throwing water on NASA to wake them from their slumber. The hoax was done in 1968. LBJ saw it and wanted no part of that done on his watch. Every President except Jimmy Carter and Obama had side plays. Eisenhower probably cost America 200,000 more causalities given he did little else in Europe except entertain his mistress.

Well first of all Johnson was not a very good president so I'm not surprised he was a bad vice president. If I were to venture a guess I find it very likely he had knowledge of and or was involved in the plot to assassinate Kennedy. I also believe that Johnson had his own agenda so I don't get a whole lot of things that make me think he was worth much. Lady Bird Johnson was pretty awesome!

If I'm reading it right Johnson is just pissed because he's the vice president. I think it's a sad State of Affairs when things go as far as they did. I find it very unlikely that Johnson didn't have knowledge of or did not in some way participate in the assassination.

But since we were from Massachusetts, it wasn't too hard; Lol; There was a record album that was a spoof of fictional conversations between him and Jackie and him and his brothers, using those famous accents. We listened to it for fun, by it contained a few incidental facts that I never forgot.

Don’t like Kennedy much...... but damn I’m greatful he lead us to the moon.
I’m going to put forth a couple names that I have HUNCHES in so far as other celebrities who may have “faked” their “deaths.” What’s a Hunch? It’s a feeling or guess based on intuition rather than known facts. I haven’t had time to look into who else is “behind the curtain,” but these other names have come into my awareness. Could Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin or John Lennon be some of the others waiting to “reappear?” Go ahead and make your own guesses. However, never lose sight of the fact that these individuals feared for their life and also the lives of their families and friends. What kind of evil could be so great that they would walkway from everything: loved ones, immense talents, fame & adoration, wealth. The question of “what kind of evil” is the central theme here. Let’s reassure them, whoever they are, that it’s safe to come out of the shadows.
