I can fully understand why everyone has given up on the Tories. But for those people to turn to Labour is simply an act of self- and national destruction.

Who to vote for? I have given up on the Tories - even as a generally lifelong conservative why should we reward failure? But to vote Labour? The reality is that our General Elections are now an irrelevant side-show. Real power is now in the hands of the Civil Servants and the Technocrats, and both Tory and Labour seem to be content to pass their powers onto quangos and even International Agencies. So we have the Office for Budget Responsibility, which Labour plans to give more power, that can only limit Parliament's ability to make budget decisions. The Tories were happy for the World Health Organisation and the international migration treaty to take over some of our national powers. Then there is this increased role of international law - a type of law made by who knows who and where, but will constrain our ability to do anything. Lastly we have a system in which our activist judges hear cases from well-funded pressure groups and then make new law that often undermines what the elected Government was elected to do. Look at the inability to do anything about migration. What is the point of voting now? Our democracy simply doesn't work.

I would like to see a cap on MPs who are Lawyers or have PPE as a degree. I would like to see a ban on Party Leaders and front bench MPs having any immediate member of their family holding a passport of another nation. I find it quite concerning how many of the great and good seem to find their spouse in another nation. This can only give them split loyalties, when it comes to what is in the interest of this nation when it is in conflict of the interest of their immediate family members nation. it can only make them more agreeable to immigration than the general public.

We have a 2-party system in the UK; one is Social Democratic; the other is the Labour Party

Voting in Britain is like the end of Ghostbusters
    Gozer:
Sub-creatures! Gozer the Gozerian, Gozer the Destructor, Volguus Zildrohar, the Traveller has come! Choose and perish!

'I think all young ppl are crazy and getting crazier, but a few based Gen X'ers like us are gonna have to stem the tide of total madness, cuz that's just how we roll'.
I mean, it sounds pretty cool in a weird way, but I'm getting the sense we're gonna need BOTH the National Guard, AND a motley crew of post-ironic, post-hipsters to save the day.

There is no way forward, only if you play their game, by their rules.
Might want to step outside of the mental prison that someone else tries to put you in.
Otherwise you will indeed be a slave to your masters.
