That was awesome, what a great experience. Two very talented smiths. Thank you for sharing
Thank you for watching!
Awesome content I know nothing about blacksmiths or very little but this video was incredible I just sat back and soaked in all the information I could. And what a bunch of cool people to hang with between you and all the other guys.
Thanks Thom, I feel the same way, I actually find this video pretty relaxing, something about Peter's instruction paired with the noise from the forge is just very nice.
It is wonderful to watch real craftsmen at work. I feel like I was in my childhood when I was allowed to watch my dad at his carpenter's work. I always felt a little privileged to be privy to his secrets. Thanks for sharing brother.
Thank you!
fantastic video! I loved Phyre's joinery project. Thanks for sharing this video
Thank you!
AWESOME video. so cool just to watch everyone work! hope you all the best with the press!!
Amazing video! I love the fact that you had so many people there demonstrating their skills. I’m going to start blacksmithing in the near future and I hope to maybe some day to meet all you guys and girl. Keep up the good work and amazing videos please I learn a lot from them thank you again.
Thank you, It's a great community!
Thanks!!!!! I learned a ton! Inspired me to sketch out a cross guard using Pete's taper joint.
:) Happy to heat it!
I have known Andy for probably 23 years and David for brobably 20 they are amazing people and craftsman and I love seeing those work be spotlighted
Great stuff. Been following the whole journey on Instagram, love the details in the video. I foresee some awesome hydraulic press made items in the future, can't wait to see how your style flourishes with this new addition. Plus I still love your wifes face at the very end lol.
Thank you so much! Now I just need to get caught up on my builds so I can put it to use.
Wonderful. Thanks for sharing, this looks like an amazing time.
Thanks! It was pretty amazing. So many great people.
Awesome machine! Some very talented folks.
Thanks Tom!
That looked like a lot of fun. Enjoy your new press.
I'm building my own. It should be done a within a week from commenting. I know the excitement. Your wife's face was so funny when the sound changed.
:)
What an experience to be around so many talented people.
It was incredible!
I'd love to get a good still shot of that punch, Pete. Everyone else seems to make round slot punches; yours is the first square one I've seen.
Awesome can crusher there, I too want to forge my own hammers, hatchets and knives, need to get my own can crusher soon I hope. Great videos.
Thank you and good luck!
Met a few of you guys including Pete. great group of guys. Sofa 2021!!!! or bust
Great Video Zach! I enjoyed the entire journey! Preciate’ you Sharing Brother! Have A Super Week!.....Gus
Thank you!
When youtube offers a better education than the US public schools
:)
Great video and interviews!
Thanks!
Cool vid as always pal! 👍🏻
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing awesome video, I'm thinking you may be needing a bigger shop in the future.
Hah, I needed a bigger shop a year ago :)
Awesome stuff Zack! 👍👊
Thanks Fred!
mezmerizing watching the blacksmithing and sword smithing which is a talent I do not have. Makes me want to learn how.
thanks while parts are missing and ended abruptly... Your time is appreciated there are some great tips in this video.
Zach, What a huge amount of Knowledge in that one room
some very interesting ideas and techniques displayed thankyou for sharing that with us
Does that Press come with a foot peddle? I can see lots of times you need both hands on the work piece and not one on the handle and one on the piece esp with larger projects
that could be very awkward without one.I cant wait to see what you come up with in your creativity
Tony from Western Australia
Thank you Tony, it was an amazing experience! And yes there is a treadle (foot peddle) a the base, you can use either the handle or the treadle.
Excellent I think if it only had the hand switch you would have been disappointed
did you leave any of the days video taping on the cutting room floor during editing ? I for one would have loved to see more
31:35 slip a close fitting steel tube over the hot bar then twist away... comes out poker straight with zero spiraling every time..!
That's genius!!!
Damn, that vice at 19:14 is an accidental work of art in itself.
This is amazing. Really enjoying the video. June 1-3 is Blade Show. Same location as the WW show only 5 times bigger. 900 venders. Are you still considering coming?
Thanks Chad. Unfortunately I won't be, I'm going to be flying to the PNW around that time, otherwise I would definitely be there.
ZH Fabrications have a fun trip back home.
Hello, Zach. well done. Excellent video. I congratulate you with an excellent replenishment of your workshop. Now you can not buy horseshoes in the store. I want a lot of creativity.
Hah, deal!
great content, you just got a new subscriber.
:) Thank you!

Lovely Lady, He's a lucky man.
Pete Braspenninx is living proof that there are witchcraft blacksmiths. My goodness his work defies logic and is absolutely amazing.
Absolutely, he's a great guy as well!
Nice man
Thanks Nate!
About a year ago I had a video pop up in my RUclips feed of a guy making a really cool knife using his forge and other tools, I kinda brush edit off and about 5 months ago I watched another one and now for the last 3 months blacksmithing videos are like my porn now, I cant get enough of them they are fascinating to me I seriously wanna quit my job and become a blacksmith and it's so odd that for the last 20 years I've collected all these pieces of steel that most can be made into something and I was donated over 100 railroad spikes plus around 50 railroad anchors and a trAck plate and I'm still waiting to be donated a piece of railroad track so I can make an Anvil. I'm gonna make a forge and a few tools but I cant wait to get started. I feel like a kid on the night before Christmas except the Christmases my parents couldn't afford any presents but that just made me a harder worker and better provider and appreciate what I do have. Anyway thanks for the video.
If u was in tn I'd give u some track. Got a two foot long piece
Damn!!! this is huggggggggggg (mr. Donald T) .. ahah thanks for share sir. GB
Yeah it’s a bigun’
Mus be very cool to have your own brand new forge. Pretty Lady too.
Ahhhh! I want one! No i need one!
:)
Мечара зачётный!
“My lovely wife and I live in Muncie Indiana with our son Boaz.” You lost me at Boaz
The beards, dreads, piercings, and neck tattoos are an interesting thing to see in this video.
The hydraulic forges are awesome, but they really need a foot pedal controller. Great video of some very gifted folks.
It has a treadle, you can use either that or the lever.
huh, a guy from muncie made a sword for a movie, crazy, many do cutlery for years and never get the opperatunity to make a sword actually used in a movie, though I did know abou the presses of coaliron, I hear good things from around the internet, and have even called there with blacksmithing questions and the types of things they can fabricate, just out of curiousity about 3 times or so, they seem personable, and very customer service oriented but, their machines are not the cheapest things around but you do get what you pay for, and seem to be constantly improving and offering new products for metal forming so, I give them 2 thumbs up , and not just because I am from indiana, they really do build a good product
Yeah, they are great guys! I've been very happy with my press.
indeed
this guy with the nose ring is a god
Yes, he most definitely is!
tell him i said hello please
Didn't think I'd watch a 35 minute video. I was wrong
Hah, good to hear :)
wow,
:) Thank you!
I wonder if Petes dreds ever caught fire?🤔
I think on anyone else yes, but after working with Pete, well... the guy is always 100% into whatever he's doing, he's the sort of guy whose always calm, collected, and well I really can't imagine him making mistakes :)

Thank you!
Please include more footage of your wife in future videos.
Thanks in advance.

It is extremely dangerous. It may attack at any moment. So we must deal with it.
That was the longest (out of focus) second of my life.
Hah, apologies....
Interesting information. The focus was really distracting though. I know you did your best. Maybe it's time for a better cam? (o:
It's decent (Canon 6D) but I'm used to setting up still shots, so I didn't have the autofocus on, and I'm not used to shooting moving objects.
🎥?????????? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
?
Nice job but so diferent i'm prefer cut and weld.
instead of giving out sticker you should start giving out crushed cans. maybe make a die with your logo on it. that's if your wife lets you use it .. :)
This is genius.... Seriously, if I get around to this, you'll have #1.
Dammit wheres the chick from the thumbnail?!
If you watched until the end you would know, and the "chick" is his wife. Be respectful.
How long before your wife stopped wanting to crush things in her...I mean your new press?
Haha, still smashing :)
Great video by the way. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall listening to all you guys. I really enjoyed hearing about their backgrounds, etc.
It's a forge press, it's a meat tenderizer! Two machines in one!
Beautiful girl 👍
Roses are red
Violets are blue
A girl on the thumbnail
Should be in the video to
(Not just for the last 2 seconds you bloody clickbaiter)
Sorry to burst his bubble, but brasspenninx is most definitely not dutch haha
You must have nice neighbors. Id probably pissed off the neighbors with noise and violated all sorts of city oridinaces and zoning with all that stuff. stay on there good side, inspectors will mess u up.
I live in Florida so my neighbors are either deaf or drug dealers. They pretty much leave me alone :)
ZH Fabrications haha
