Brilliant video as usual. Minor point: At 2:02:26 Lincoln can't place 2 dice on the command board as only one dice can be assigned per round. However this had no impact as Lincoln could have used a remaining command token ( which can be placed once per turn) as he still has an unused one at the end of the game. Just info for those playing just the base game without Choppe Shoppe expansion.
Love this game and so fun to watch others play as well! Slight error I believe at 20:00 - maximum move value is not 6. Nitro can increase movement to be above 6. Page 12.
Awesome! I backed the Maximum Chrome edition of Thunder Road Vendetta, and it is one of the very few Kickstarter that meet the promise of the campaign, and even more rare, it completely exceeded my expectations. TRV was my game of 2023, and having backed the Carnival of Chaos, I'm excited for more! A few small rules corrections: 1:52 Nick heals his small vehicle and moves it on the same action. You're supposed to assign the vehicle dice before activating the command board. The main reason for this is to stop you from doing exactly what Nick did! Oops. Also, at some point, someone is trying to place a helicopter and seems to struggle to find a place they can shoot from. The helicopter can be placed on any space without another piece or token, so it can be placed on a mountain or other impassable terrain.
20:10 regarding max movement. I've never read in the rulebook there's a maximum on movement. If I assign a 6 and nitro for 3, I'm moving 9 spaces, not 6.
I really can't wait for the carnival of chaos to fulfill and get my Maximum Chrome edition. I have heard from multiple Ytubers speak on this game and say that this is a game that was made WAAAY better with every expansion and should be played with most, if not all, expansions in play for every session.
@20:10 where you say your max movement with nitro is only 6 is not true. The rulebook specifically says, "This may result in movement higher than 6. You must move the full amount." You could potentially move a total of 12 spaces. 6 with the die, 3 with nitro, and 3 with the road die(base game).
Love the Chaos and the bros Murph - great game quite expensive here in UK (on release later in year) but looks a bucket full of fun and has lots of kit in that could have been sold as expansions
Could not believe blue reminded himself of his power to reroll misses then the next time (literally 5 minutes later) he shoots at Nikki he misses and forgets to reroll again
Question because I have never played this. At 56:50 he goes into the mud but wouldn’t he not be able to since he only had 1 movement left? Wouldn’t that have forced him to collide into the wall? Or was he able to since he used nitro?
She apologized for causing soo much damage...but thats what I play for. I like the chaos, I don't care if its all cause and affect on me. Its what makes the game so fun. I slam, shoot, whatever as often as I can in this game. This was the longest game ever. Ours is usually done in 15-30 minutes max.
Hazards with an "X" in the corner are removed after activating. So that mine early in the game should have been removed from the board. Thematically it makes sense since a mine cannot explode over and over again.
Mine just arrived with Carnival of Chaos expansion, can't wait to play, thanks for the great video , enjoyed it a lot
Wow those Murphs sure are handsome!
Meh, they're nothing to write home about.
😜
Why do I feel this comment is not 100% impartial? ;)
Thematically speaking, does that make them the trophy concubines of Nicki since she now rules the wastelands? 🤔. 😁
Well ah do deCLAYuh! (fan fan fan)
Beauty like art is subjective.
I missed the first Kickstarter. But I backed Carnival of Chaos, can't wait. Thanks for the playthrough.
Having the Brothers Murph ramped up the chaos as much as the game! They are hysterical!! Very fun episode!
Love to see Nick and Mike on the show! I've heard so many good things about this game too :)
Brilliant video as usual.

One of my favorite games and so much fun to watch this video.! I love GameNight.!

Paused to say this as well. Nitro and fire die and road die can result in some large movements.
I think it used to be a rule in the prototype that Nick and Mike played during the kickstarter.
@@GrandKhan44 this is established in the base game rule that has been out before this kickstarter campaign.
I love watching people play this game!
definitely one of my favorite games of all time :) Please do another play when the Carnival of Chaos comes out!
Please play this again with the Carnival of Chaos and/or big rig and motorcycles. We were part of the original Kickstarter and love this game.

Choppers cannot be placed on impassable spaces.

Yes! The Brothers Murph!!!!
Really enjoyed this video. The teach was the best! 🙌
I LOVE this game! The Choppe Shoppe expansion is essential imo

Yeahhhh! The brothers Murph! Awesome!
I backed the latest Kickstarter for this with Carnival of Chaos which adds a battle arena board. I'm really looking forward to it!
Super fun video. This game is great. There was quite a few rule errors, but hey as long as everyone had a great time its all good in the end.

I can't wait to get this game!
Thanks for the play through!
I had no idea Blast Off ignored “in between” tiles. Thanks!
Yeah the rulebook doesn't clarify how to handle impassable spaces, so yeah you're flying.
Love seeing TBM on the show! Not my cup of tea game but great to see it in action. One I'd love to try at a board game cafe or con sometime 😊
This same group needs to play Hansa Teutonica!

It's part of the rules for mud, that if it's your last point of movement you can still enter the hex.
That dice tower is awesome

Nitro can result in movement higher than 6… pg. 12
TBM Rock!!
Witness! 🎲💥
