Hey, we actually made this video serval months before carnival of chaos was announced, so we hadn’t played that expansion because it didn’t exist at the time of filming.
I saw the new campaign, but was on the fence...so I got the retail copy. I played it twice yesterday with my kids...and guess what? I'm gonna back the campaign too! It is SO MUCH FUN! Great review. I subscribed. BTW I love Restoration Games, I actually have most of their games. Return to Dark Tower, Stop Thief and Fireball Island are my favs.

Thanks for the thorough review. Secondary market pricing for Maximum Chrome is ridiculous but i was able to find a kickstarter version of the base game and Choppe Shope for only about $20 above kickstarter pricing. Hopefully will get it within a week, can’t wait to play!
I did see that earlier this week more expansions became available to buy on Restoration Games' website. They currently still have the Choppe Shoppe, Big Rig and the Final Five, and Carnage at Devil's Run available.

I played it with 6 players and absolutely loved the increased chaos! Can’t wait for the kickstarter to arrive this year.

How does the game work at 2 players?
Hey I think the game shines at 3-4 players. The game still surprisingly works at two but definitely prefer it with more people.
I love both quality euro games and quality ameritrash. This was an instant buy for me especially when board games have such a post nuclear drought.
Oh, I love the theme. It doesn’t get better then running my friends into a giant wall or off the map. lol
Can you use the Big Rig and/or the Motorcycles in a 4 player game? Or can you only use those with specifically 5 players?
You can use them for any player count.
Julian had this game as a child, so much nostalgia for it!

I really like the chopp shoppe expansion and Mary Kate likes carnage at devil’s run. Those are the two we would suggest!

Great review, Guys! I believe the only expansion available in retail is the 'Big Rig and the Final Five'. Hopefully they release more soon.
