Haha I do the same thing! I don’t even see animals as food at this point so I’m always thinking of ways to make those pastries vegan lol and good question! This one doesn’t have a dinner party specifically for holidays but I would love to do a holiday book next! That would be so fun 👩🏻🍳👩🏻🍳❤️❤️

Hey, Nikki! You didn't show how you cooked/caramelised your onions... 😥 It's so strange how this is a dessert! Looks very beautiful, though! Thanks!
Hey! So his recipe calls for sautéing the onions until translucent and lightly browned. They’re not deeply caramelized and sweet like the way we usually see caramelized onions. So I did something similar to keep it authentic. Just sauté them with a little vegan butter while the potatoes cooked and then let them cook completely before assembling ❤️❤️

I'm sure your pastry is much better but lots of store bought puff pastry is accidentally vegan, do you think that will work? I'm not good at precise measurements (maybe I'm just too impatient) so I rarely bake.
Would definitely work. I think she just made it from scratch to honor Paul’s recipe but as an at home cook, a premade pastry is a great cheat!!
